How to spoil the joy of a hole in one.
Shot a hole in one at a Charity corporate event run by SSPCA attended by 72 golfers.
Instead of buying all golfers a drink, I made a donation to the charity of £100 and asked The Golfers Club to match it (not refund it). Would have resulted in a win/win.
Claim was rejected despite repeated requests to reconsider.
No moral compass or common sense. Computer says no.

I'm over the age of 70
I'm over the age of 70 and golf insurance companies like to hide information relating to the reduction in levels of cover for people over 70, or 75 or 80 in the small print of the policy.
This has a bearing on our decision making and is why I eventually chose your policy. You were the best of an "Iffy bunch"

My policy was lapsed.
My policy was not automatically renewed. The Golfer's Club claim that my Direct Debit had been cancelled although it is clearly still showing as active on my internet banking.

Members peace of mind
I have been a member of the golfers club for some years and it has given me peace of mind so I can just concentrate on playing golf.
