Placed order on Friday (Google Pay).
No order confirmation email recvd over the weekend.
Tried to ring the company Monday.
It's a message saying "email sales 24hr reply"
Emailed them Monday first thing.
Tuesday and still no reply.

Weds they got back to me.
Will update once fulfilled...

8/11 glasses delivered. There was an email but no tracking. Happy with glasses! Got free lenses upgrade for delay. These guys are cheap, not communicative, and still had their spring sale on web when I last checked. Price is very good, order process and comms not very good. Might use again, might spend little more. Not sure.

Excellent, value for money and timely service.

Only thing I would say is that I did not get a confirmation email when I ordered which had me concerned so made a phone call. Good response.

Good in terms of pricing, bad in terms of the time it takes to receive delivery and the lack of communication in between! I ordered 2 frames, there was no email confirming the order and no updates, the frames eventually arrived after 2.5 weeks. Most companies deliver your order withing 2-3 days, so I am not sure what this company is doing! You can only get in touch with them by email, and it takes a day or 2 to get a response.

Unfortunately the ray ban model of glasses I ordered and paid for were no longer available so had to choose another brand. The Oakley airdrop model was ordered and delivered within a couple of weeks. Comfortable lightweight spectacles and a good fit. Happy with my purchase and level of service.

Not the first time I've ordered from this company, excellent quality glasses made to order at very reasonable prices. There was a problem with my order and the team were in contact every day and responsive to resolve the issues which speaks volumes to their reliability and professionalism! Very happy, I'll be using them again.

Pros: Great pricing, and easy ordering process.
Cons: Delivery took much longer (nearly 2 weeks) than I had understood it would take.

Great looking glasses frames, cheaper than my opticians, bought the frames only & I just got my optician to fit my subscription lens, did take a while to be delivered though, hence only 4 stars.

I love buying my specs from TGC, they are a great bunch, really care and deliver at keen prices - as others have mentioned, frames may not be always available, despite being on the website, so just allow a bit of extra time when ordering....thanks TGC for another great pair of specs.

Ordered a Rayban frame from the glasses company. After placing the order received no confirmation email and called, only to find the number on their website did not have an option to speak with someone. Managed to get through to someone on another number I found on Facebook. The staff confirmed the order and forwarded the invoice. Worthwhile noting the invoice did not have the company VAT number or trading name. I was very skeptical.

The frame arrived 8 working days later. There was no notice of dispatch or anything at all. I can also confirm however the frame is genuine.

The Glasses Company needs to work on their communication with customers.

Disappointing Experience with Delayed Glasses Order
I recently purchased a pair of glasses online, and I must say, it has been an incredibly frustrating experience. The order took over three weeks to arrive, which is unacceptable for what was supposed to be a straightforward purchase. Throughout this time, I was given very little communication about the status of my order.
I had to chase for updates multiple times, and even then, responses were slow and unhelpful. At no point did the company take the initiative to keep me informed. I found myself having to follow up constantly, which is not the level of service I expect when ordering online.
In addition to the long wait, the lack of updates made the entire process feel incredibly unprofessional. Given the price I paid, I certainly expected a much more seamless and timely experience.
I won't be ordering from this company again, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle-free glasses shopping experience. Very disappointing.

Initially ordered an Oakley frame. After taking my order and funds, The Glasses Company communicated that they were no longer in production. This appears slightly disingenuous given that the originally ordered frames still appear listed on website (!).

In the end, I settled for ordering a higher priced Oakley frame, which arrived almost a month after the original order was placed.

Although The Glasses Company is fairly competitive on price, the main gripes I have are that their stock on their website is out of date, and their communications are very slow with response usually taking at least 24 hours. If these could be addressed, the experience would have been much more satisfactory.

Good price and service

I was looking for replacement frame to use the same lenses and I got it from the glasses company. Slightly different shade of colour but did the job. Thanks

great product, great customer service! There were some glitches in the communication but the people at sales helped me out. It took a bit between the order and receiving it, but the product is amazing -- thanks!

Lenses are fine but you couldn't supply the frames I ordered. Quite allot of toing and froing to place the order. Not straight forward. Would probably use you again but don't like the continuous asking for a review.

The glasses themselves are fine, and I realise there was issues where I misclicked.

But my God are they slow. Carrier pigeons are faster at replying. Stars died out before they got back to me. It took over a month, this is mostly due to their extremely slow customer services department.

Ultimately you get what you pay for. Its not a mistake I will make again. Avoid this company.

Please be aware that if you need to use customer service from The Glasses Company, you're in for a long slog.
I ordered a pair of Hugo Boss glasses, they eventually got back stating the glasses were out of stock, & asked me to choose an alternative pair.
Then it started, after answering their email with an alternative pair of glasses, I got no answer, after an entire day of emailing from early morning to early evening the issue is still not resolved. So I asked for a total refund & still got no answer.
I've got no idea if I'll get a refund or not???
