I’ve been using the Diesel Club fuel card for a while now, and it’s honestly been a game-changer for me and my business. There’s no credit checks, no complicated setup, and I only pay for what I use/put in — which makes budgeting so much easier. The discounts on diesel are genuinely noticeable, and the app/portal makes it simple to track my spending and shows me exactly where I can fill up (pretty much anywhere).

Customer service has also been spot on. Any time I’ve had a question, they’ve replied quickly and been really helpful. It’s great having a fuel card that’s flexible, transparent, and doesn’t tie me into anything. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to save a huge amount of money on fuel without the hassle!

I love this card, I’m not a business user but I have a van and a pick up I always used to try to go to Tesco to fill up but there’s always a massive queue, this card gives me the ability to fill up in any Shell, BP, motorway services and still pay less than I would at Tesco. I think I’m about 3 months into having the card and have already broke even with the yearly fee, side note I was happy to pay the fee just so I didn’t have to queue at tescos anymore. The fact I’ve saved the fee is a bonus. CS have been fantastic, the credit card I have linked to the account did a fraud check on my 1st transaction I had no idea till I got home, as I say CS were brilliant. They are a new company and initially I was worried it might be a scam - it is 100% genuine and I think I’ll be a member/customer for life. If you’re on the fence get your £30 out you won’t regret it.

Honestly I don’t normally do reviews, but I needed to for this, if you have a family and even just one diesel car in your household or multiple, please please please read my review, I beg you!!! It could help you and your family out so much like it has mine!!!

So I come across The Diesel Club through an advert on my Instagram. Like every ad on there, I was intrigued but sceptical if it was legit or not. Then whilst talking to a friend, it came up in conversation that he was already a member and it’s 100% real. He had saved so much money and, just like me, he has 2 cars in his household that are run on diesel. With the diesel club you’ll find you can have multiple diesel cars on one account (I think its a maximum of 3 vehicles off the top of my head) so the savings you can make can be across multiple cars, which for me with the cost of everything rising and a family of 4 to feed and keep a roof over our heads, any savings is incredibly helpful. Another thing is it’s available to anyone and everyone, you don’t have to own a company or anything like that to be eligible, literally anyone in any situation can sign up and use the benefits!!! I didn’t think twice after that conversation and joined and I promise you now, it’s probably one of the best decisions for me personally that I’ve made over many years.

The app is amazing, so straight forward. It shows you a map on there where your card is eligible to use before you travel. It shows you how much per litre you will pay being on the members club and it shows you your total savings using the diesel club card. Perfect, as I said so straight forward. There are other bits on the app but for the whole purpose of joining the club, it’s all you need!

Also another thing is the help/contact from the company I’ve experienced. I emailed the company with a question regarding my account and I received an email back within half hour from them with all the help I needed. I couldn’t believe my eyes the response was that quick but it was, and so helpful. Honestly couldn’t thank the staff there enough for that.

So whoever you are, whatever situation you’re in, if you own a diesel vehicle, you need sign up! I promise you, you will not regret it!

This is such a great concept, had the card a couple of weeks now & already seeing the savings on a daily basis. The forecourt coverage is really good, the app is user friendly & updates instantly after filling up & paying. Finally, the admin team answered a couple of queries I had very prompt & efficiently, I really cannot recommend The Diesel Club enough, keep up the good work.

Great company, saved me money on my diesel which is great when you’ve got a big tank in the car. Customer care is 10/10. Can’t fault anything so far.

At first I was skeptical but after getting my card and using it has been absolutely amazing
I got my black founders card through and used it 5 times already and saved loads
After raising my concerns they were fixed very quickly
I have been messaging with Bill and Ian nearly daily giving suggestions and getting advice and it's really helped put my mind at rest given this is my first time with a fuel card

My only bad points were I signed up in September finally got to end of wait list in October and took till November to get my card but it's been great since

Staff are friendly and responsive and helpful card wait time was 3 days and its brilliant dont leave the house without it now

Having waited a little longer, for my card, than expected; it arrived a couple of months ago.
I set it up straight away, added my credit card for payment and headed off to the petrol station to fill up and see if it worked.
I saved 8p per litre and have continued to save ever since. About £5 per fill on average.
It’s an amazing saving, I cover 30,000 miles a year so it’s an absolute must to anyone that covers a high mileage.
There is no reason to not sign up for this, I 100% endorse The Diesel Club

Excellent customer service, card works exactly as advertised. Fuel prices updated weekly and money got taken out bank the same day. Can not fault it. Card said it’ll be here on the 12th December and arrived much earlier within a week infact

Was sceptical of this to start with, being an early adopter of anything always has some uncertainty attached, but can honestly say the Diesel Club is a great scheme and has saved me a small fortune. The app is really simple to use and very intuitive. Once you’ve set up your account by uploading your drivers license and payment card you just activate your Diesel Club card in the app and off you go! You just use the card as you would your normal payment card, it’s nothing complicated. The map in the app shows you all the filling stations that accept the card in your area, how much per litre you save, and what that equates to on each full tank. The coverage is extensive, generally the only filing stations that aren’t covered are motorway services. I’ve used it at Shell, Sainsbury, BP, Esso, Texaco, all with no issues. The Diesel Club unit price is always around 8p to 10p cheaper than the forecourt price locally to me, but I saved 15p a litre at a services on the A14 for one fill up! The tech support is really good, the guys come back to your emails really quickly, I cannot fault the experience. If you do a lot of mileage this really is a no brainer, I’d made the subscription fee back in the first four fill ups so it’s paid for itself already.

The diesel club is a really good idea. I initially had an issue with receiving my card, however this was swiftly sorted with the customer support over email. I have now started using and would recommend it. I like the fact that it streamlines the price you pay across different stations.

None of my local garages are competively priced. The card makes them useable for the first time, which makes life a little easier. I liked that they did not debit the yearly fee, until the card was activated.

Got this card within a few days I was luckily quick enough for the next run. I believe it’s 2-3 weeks usual wait time but please do not quote me.. you pay 29.99 for the card for 12 months. Go to your app ,search the network and look for a garage that’s in the network. Tesco, Esso etc there’s around 5000 forecourts to use all over the uk . You go to the pump fill up and if the pump price is saying 1.45 and the diesel club have it at 139.9 you use your fuel card that’s linked to your bank to pay 139.9 , it then works out the savings. Check your app, see how much you’ve saved and the final total gets taken out of your main bank card you linked it too.. then all you have to do is walk out like you’ve won the jackpot!! For me it’s been working great knowing that if the pump is saying 150.9 I’ll pay the club price. Any issues or questions that I have had have been answered via what’s app by the team. They have incredible customer services I cannot fault them. Also just a little side note I’m not one to jump into something without researching first this is legit and honestly you feel great!!

I like filling up at motorway services now. I'd say it's genuinely nice to get on a road trip, and know that I can top the car up at the motorway services and not pay more than at home.

Whilst at home, I live around the Berkshire area and we have some expensive diesel around 152p per litre, so the rough 139p per litre is a good deal.

It is also nice how I can collect Nectar, BPme, Shell Go and other loyalty points whilst filling.

For the 'well, how to sign up and what do I really need to know?' details, it was really easy online. The card took a while to receive but I have heard that it is no problem now. This works at MOST but not all petrol stations, so you need to check prior to filling. I'd say the more 'independent' stations are usually out of network. But most stations are in the network so don't worry. The app works well too and tells you exactly how much you've saved (and how smug you can be)

But its also nice how the Diesel Club really cares about the members like I received an email from the CEO saying 'Thank you for being one of our early users, it genuinely means a lot to see you filling up at BP and supporting what we’re building.' (I fill at BP as they're my closest stations)

But yeah, there's nothing to lose (seriously, if you don't use it 6 times in a year or don't like it, you get your £30 back)

I took a punt on this after seeing an advert on Reddit and everyone saying it “must be a scam” I thought for £30 it’s worth the risk. I’m seriously glad I did! I’ve thought for a long time, why are fuel cards only available to the trade?! And finally someone has made it available to all.

It took a little while to arrive but they are scaling quickly. I spoke to one of the founders one evening at the weekend which gives you some idea. 😅

They have since scaled their CS team which have been great and I’ve had no issues using the card at all.

The best bit is not having to worry about the price when I fill up. I just check the station is listed on the app and ignore the price as I know I’ll only pay what’s been set.

Great app, great service, amazing idea!

Don’t hesitate, if you own a diesel car go for it! You can’t go wrong.

Absolutely brilliant idea,
Have filled up a few times. The savings are great and well worth the membership. Luckily by me there is a plethora of stations to fill up at. Wait time for the funds to be taken from my bank has varied a little depending on if the station I filled up at had previously been used. But overall it’s normally within 24 hrs. Customer services are great and respond really quickly (compared to other companies) if you do a fair bit of mileage I’d 100% recommend joining the wait list. It’s definitely worth it

I’ve been a member of TDC for about a month now and have saved so much on my fuel! I’ve always preferred to use stations such as Shell/BP but stopped as it wasn’t affordable. This is where TDC comes in, I can fill up at ANY station, on or off motorways, for the exclusive price offered to members so it’s a no brainer! It’s been great and have found the app very easy to use to keep track of my savings!

I've been a member for a couple of months now and absolutely love this card! Already saved £16 on fuel after 2 visits! You pay a one-off £30 for the card and pay the fuel price that is set on the app each week wherever you refuel. The price is always lower than any pump price so signing up is a no-brainer. I was on a long trip this weekend and loved that I could finally bring myself to use a motorway service station knowing I wouldn't be paying £1.70+ per litre (the weekend prices were around the £1.39 mark so i saved considerably!). The times I've spoken to customer services have been fantastic. Everyone is very helpful, answered quickly and provided a great experience. Highly recommend signing up, you literally have nothing to lose!

The card took a while to arrive. But it's real and it works - the first time I used it, I saved £8 for a full tank at my local BP. I would normally have to drive several miles to find a cheap gas station, but even the cheapest gas station within 15 miles is now more expensive than the the price I get at my local BP using this card.
