This company its some kind of scam, I ordered my card in November, in January I got told it was not delivered because problem with wrong address and new card would be send to me shortly, and £30 credit will be added to my account. Since then no credit on my account, no card, no reply for emails and WhatsApp messages.

Scam. Paid in November. No card received. No reply to email. I'll claim the money back from my card. Stay away.

Like most people joined end of November, wait 4weeks as website stated, no card, multiple emails and WhatsApp messages, guess what, no replies, got the standard message on 9th February, and again still waiting, no reply to emails or WhatsApp messages. They promised a lot, and delivered nothing, so I guess they are the biggest scammers going, preying on people during hard times, the lowest of the low, scum of the earth.

Now unable to login to the app, funny how this happened after giving them a bad review, another thing is they asked trustpilot to get information from me to check if I was a genuine customer. Once again scum of the earth scammers, hope they get what they deserve. They actually replied on WhatsApp claiming I should have been refunded, which of course I haven’t, so now they will manually process the refund, not holding my breath, too many lies in the past, oh and also they have closed my account. I don’t expect to see a refund from them voluntarily, I am going through my bank. Lastly they claimed they had sent updates by email but they had been blocked, when asked blocked by who, they said at server level, whatever that means. Trading standards have been informed and I urge everyone else to do the same to stop them ripping off more people.

Still waiting for the card to turn up.
Save your sign up money as this is a total scam.
They've gone to the effort of making the app look legit and fulling everyone with excuses, but can't make the card is quick enough..... pull the other one.
I'll cut my losses on the money lost as with all the others that are waiting for their card too.

**Update on advice**

Register a charge back with your bank ASAP to get a full refund or contact your credit card company to assist with refund of fee paid

Also remember to cancel any card used with this company as I doubt they will abide by the FCA requirements and maybe they will try to use your bank details later in some fraudulent way or not secure them sufficiently and leak them via some hack

Well like many I did do my due diligence before signing up in early December 2025. As everyone else has stated I was promised my card by such and such a date only to receive an SMS stating delays and it should be here on X date. All these dates passed and no communication or response from the company!

My advise to anyone who paid for a card and did not receive it, initiate a charge back via your bank immediately for the £29.99
Hopefully you can get your money back before the company completely disappears without a trace.

!! 1st Update at the bottom:

I signed up for the Diesel Club on November 4th 2026, paying the £30 standard joining fee.

Before joining, I submitted a support request asking whether or not The Diesel Club was compatible with Premium (Super) Diesel. (Answer: It not [yet]).

I got a prompt answer from a human who said that they hope to look into supporting Premium Diesel in the New Year, and that the ticket handler had notified the Co-Founder "Bill"* that I was interested in this new tier.
(*I couldn't find a "Bill" as a company stakeholder. Is this the nickname given to a Hungarian national who has since resigned and restarted a new company? More information below. -and my ticket was answered by an 'Ed' (Edward) who is a company director.)

Understanding that I was not going to use the card until Premium Diesel was supported, I was credited by £30 sign-up fee as "Diesel Cash" (In-app credit).

My card arrived at some point in December, and despite activating it successfully I never used it.

Getting technical; we should all understand that traditionally fuel cards are reserved for limited companies or sole traders etc. I understood that The Diesel Club was a consumer-face for a fuel-card called "Pro Trade Pay" a.k.a. 'PTP'.
The Diesel Club's company number '16207447' found at the footer of the website relates to "GB PTP Ltd.", and this company is overdue it’s confirmation statements.. an amber flag.

Pro Trade Pay did have their own fleshed-out website which I did check out at the time of sign-up in late 2025, but it has since gone offline and is now a 404.
I think this relates to the messaging given by The Diesel Club that they are "moving away from our legacy card network" - though I cannot be certain that this is referring to Pro Trade Pay.

I reason I suspect it could is because a director of GB PTP Ltd. resigned and has since founded a new firm called "Motus Infrastructure Limited" which does have an active website and you can visit it if you wish. It appears to be carrying similar messaging to Pro Trade Pay.

The optimist in me thinks that The Diesel Club was genuinely really popular and that they both could not print/post cards quick enough to meet consumer demand and expectation and that they are experiencing teething/migration issues with the backend partner systems.

The cynic in me thinks that The Diesel Club was a fairly elaborate con, and Motus Infrastructure Limited is just the foundation for the next big-con with the same recipe, which would be unfortunate. They have a moderately mature social media presence, and I know they would have had some forward investment as I found The Diesel Club via an advertisement on Instagram. The idea is plausible too, so I don't think it is ‘too good to be true’ per-se.

I wish The Diesel Club would communicate with us. The last update was three weeks ago on the 9th Feb. 2026. I understand it has been radio silent since, though I do recall them responding to reviews here on Trust Pilot a few days afterwards citing immense customer support delays - which again seem realistic as I would imagine they have been swamped with complaints and requests especially considering the messaging that the cards do not work/have been declining.

Like most people who signed up I use a lot of Diesel and any saving would be appreciated. I understand the business model - that they pass some savings and pocket the difference. We should all be 'quids-in' but I worry at best they grew too fast, at worse we have all been conned out of pocket. Only time will tell.
In the meantime, I patiently await updates.

According to The Diesel Club Facebook page they are transitioning to a £0 sign-up fee and are also in the process of refunding member sign-up fees.
I am curious if anyone has actually received their money back or not. Good to see a pulse somewhere though.

Signed up to TDC in early November 2025 and received my card in December. Used the card twice and all was good until the start of 2026 that's when it has all gone down hill since. Card got declined on 13th January when using it so had to switch back to normal debit card. Went on the app and got in touch and was told it was a glitch and operations would be back to normal and refund would be given for difference in what was spent to make up for it. Never received the refund and to this day nearly 7 weeks later still haven't received a penny back. Was told originally after glitch was sorted we would recieve our sign up fee as a refund that didn't happen either! Thus apparent glitch is still ongoing! Multiple emails and whatsapp messages have been sent and no response received! Company seems to be more of a scam which is a shame as it started off legit. Trading standards will be contacted about this as the company are just scamming people out of their money then saying technical glitches mean the cards aint working. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Ordered a fuel card beginning of December have sent multiple emails and messages and still not received my card from this company I had high hopes at first as they seemed legit but now I feel this is just a scam and waste of time

Things went smoothly at first card arrived but as soon as I went to use it apparently system error and keep receipts and will be reimbursed
I’ve tried contacting multiple times to no success so something I paid for I can’t even use I hope they sort this and actually contact me back

Still have not recieved my card, nor a response to my email. I signed up in December, Recieved an email that my card had been dispatched and would be there via Royal Mail no later than the 26th January, but we're here on the 23rd of February with no card, and no response from their customer service.
I'm going to have to go via my bank for a refund and report them to trading standards as this is not great. I am really disappointed, but I guess the phrase 'too good to be true' is in play here with The Diesel Club.

Avoid at all cost. Ordered in November 2025 it’s now February 2026 and still not received my card!

I've been waiting since November 2025. Ten days ago, I put a review on here and finally got a response after sending several emails. They claimed that they tried to send my card out in January, but because no one was available to sign for it, it got sent back. I did not receive any confirmation that anything had been delivered. The last I heard (ten days ago) was that they were looking to change my account into a virtual one (whatever that means?). As yet still not heard anything more.
I'm trying to be patient but when you don't get any information back its hard.

Terrible company to deal with. They don’t reply to emails or messages.
Over two months waiting and no updates.
Got my money back through my bank as they’re useless.
Do not bother with this at all. Compete scam. Don’t even look so the good reviews because it’s a load of rubbish. Stay away

Applied end of November, heard nothing by mid January so messaged them and they replied saying card was in the weekend run and I would revive the following week. No card received and messaged a few times but no reply to any of them.
A real shame as it seemed good.

Payment for card made on 29th Nov 2025, despite info saying there was delays, it was clear I'd receive the card within 4 weeks. 2026 came and nothing happened, now starts the problem. I have made every single attempt to contact customer support, 10+ emails, WhatsApp messages, even calling numbers found in other forums. I had absolutely nothing back despite trying everything I could think of. Eventually I got a one-line reply to a WhatsApp message saying a refund is being sent and my account cancelled, and that I should have checked Reddit for an update on their communication issues.

STAY AWAY from this company. So unfortunate, I really thought I was onto a winner here but clearly they can't organise anything.

Update: refund never received, claimed via charge-back from the bank.

Nearly 5 months since order placed, no card no responded to emails. Just appears to be a scam. Avoid at all costs.

Very disappointing. I ordered my card in November 2025. I was told that the card would arrive before Christmas. No card arrived. Sent the first email. Eventually got a response saying card has been dispatched and I will receive it within 10days. No card arrives so I send another email no response. Another email sent and then another email sent. We are now fast approaching March. Guys I'm trying to keep the faith but to be honest it's becoming frustrating. Please help
I have today 04/03/26 been requested to provide additional details. Since posting the review I have again sent another two emails. In total since I applied for the diesel club card in November I have now sent 9 emails. I only received response to the first two emails. The first email stated I would receive the card before Christmas. The second response said there was a delay due to being popular. Now we are in March almost 4 months since I applied and paid my money and still no card. What is more frustrating is that the have not replied to the last 7 emails which is frustrating and upsetting. I suspect t that I have now been scammed out of my money. Would I recommend? I honestly cannot. Why not? You pay your money then nothing. I'm happy to engage with the diesel club but not even sure they exist

Wouldn’t bother signing up, seems like a good idea. Card took a while to arrive and when I questioned it I was given £10 free diesel. Went to use the card and it declines saying amount exceeded. Messaged on a couple of different platforms to find out what’s going on and get no response. A good concept but it doesn’t seem to work and the responses are so slow you feel like you’ve been conned by signing up.

A scam. Paid the subscription on 29/11/26 and received an email that the card should be in my hand within 4 weeks. It’s now 09/02/26 and have got nothing. Diesel Club do not reply to WhatsApp, emails or their TikTok account. I’ve requested a refund and still heard nothing.
