My load of concrete was delivered late
My load of concrete was delivered late. But i was still charged waiting time. Also whilst unloading the truck was leaking hydraulic oil onto the ground. When the vehicle left the premises it left an oil trail up the drive over the pavement and up the road,which i cleaned up. Spoke to customer services about the waiting charge seeing i cleaned up,and in writing so they could investigate. Nothing was done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Disappointing & stressful experience
Paid as per quote then later told needed extra payment for a service already agreed in quote.
Delivery 5 hours late after several phone calls from me, no apologies for either problem.

The worst service ever
Having paid over 2k we were given a delivery slot between 12 and 2pm. The concrete had not arrived .I then called the Company and was told it would be there in 40 minutes. It wasn’t so we called again to be told it’s just around the corner , the concrete arrived an hour later but without the pump which was necessary to get the concrete to the back of the property. Called again to be told it would be there shortly. As the office closes at 5pm I rang at 4.45pm to be told there was no one I could speak to and more to the point nobody knew where the pump was. As I was not happy, I was advised to send in an email as there was no department that could help us. There were two people in the truck with the concrete who when I asked if they knew where the pump was got very irate with me. The pump truck finally turned up at 5.50pm. I finally finished work at 7pm which caused my partner and I to miss an evening at the Theatre which we had paid £140 for the tickets.
Also the concrete was short of what I ordered.
Having been lied to on the phone, and shouted at, If I could give 0 stars I would ……DIGRACEFUL

Disorganised Bull Poo. Ordered and paid for the concrete on…
Ordered and paid for the concrete on Tuesday. Confirmed delivery for Friday pm by telephone on Wednesday. Confirmed quantity and Friday pm delivery by telephone on Thursday.
Confirmed delivery slot by telephone at 8am Friday. Confirmed by telephone that building control had passed the footings and we were good to go at 12 noon. I was told at this point that the concrete should be with us between 2pm and 230 pm.
At 3pm I telephoned The Concrete Network to enquire about delivery. They gave me the drivers number as they were too busy apparently to contact him.
After three failed attempts to contact him he finally answered the phone.
The delivery driver then calmly informed me that he was in his way home and "no way am I driving all that way on a Friday afternoon".
Telephone the Concrete Network to see what they can do about this delivery.
The best they could do was promise a delivery at 8am Monday morning.
Not very happy leaving footings all weekend but had to accept the inevitable.
Telephoned The Concrete Network at 8am Monday to confirm delivery. Matt explained that the concrete was on it's way and would be there by 830am
Matt at The Concrete Network phoned my colleague at 10 am (still waiting for delivery) and told him that the delivery would be at 2pm instead. No apologies just excuses. " Nothing we can do!" seems to be their standard response.
We paid a lot more for this concrete than our local ready mixed company had quoted because The Concrete Network promised Friday pm delivery and Newark Concrete could not guarantee delivery before Monday morning.
So, ironically enough, the far cheaper option would have arrived before The Concrete Network delivery.
So a full day wasted and labourers to pay because The Concrete Network couldn't persuade a driver to deliver on Friday afternoon.

I asked for a volumix
I asked for a volumix . Needed just over
3 Cubic metres . Turned up with 3 exactly!! This was after waiting specifically for the right vehicle to supply the correct amount. I then had to wait a further 20 hours to get the remaining quarter cube that was requested for my slab.. had the privilege of paying £250 plus vat for their mistake and £800 labour cost..
They agreed it wasn’t a nice service , but had to charge me all the same .
We won’t be using them again!!

This website is a complete waste of time and they charge well over the proper price
There website is first in the list and not the Chorley concrete one that you might be looking for my experience with them was not very pleasant

The driver smashed the drive up
The driver smashed the drive up , didn’t bother telling us , drove off after cleaning his mix all over the customers drive to go hard.
When I finished laying 1.9 Metres in the garden I was horrified at the damage, I wish I could put pictures here.
The company passed the buck and I was left with a £1,000 repair bill out of my own pocket but believe me I won’t be leaving it here because it’s all on camera audio and video.
Total IDIOT!!!

Cowboys don’t use them
First delivery of concrete was way too thick when telling driver to put more water he was putting more cement mixture caused me loads more work he also managed to overfill the corner causing it to run into a newly fitted drain waste pipe which also now has to be removed and replaced. All he wanted to do was dump his load and get out of there as quick as possible. Never using this company again and making sure any friends or family stay well clear, bunch of cowboys

Terrible service
Terrible service, AVOID. We had 12 cube to pour. Concrete Networks confirmed a time slot between 8-10 am. I hade 3 personnel on site ready for the pour. The mixer arrived at 11.45 and then waited for the pumps arrival at 15.15. Upon its arrival the two drivers took it upon themselves to have big argument in front of my customer and the whole street. All in all very unprofessional service.

Requested volumetric and was ignored
I explained multiple times on the phone that I needed a volumetric mix. Then when the terms and conditions were read, I understood that we could be liable for waste costs for concrete we don't use. I asked how that was possible as I requested a volumetric mix? he seemed incredible confused, then explained that there was an extra fee for volumetric mix, even though I had already paid. They agreed to wave the fee on this occasion once I put them onto my manager. None of which mattered anyway as they phoned the day before delivery explaining that we wouldn't be having a volumetric mix and they couldn't even stick to the initial timeslot we booked in. On top of all that, the rate was unnecessarily high. The sales person on the phone was very quick and didn't listen. I will do everything in my power not to use these again.

Do not use this company
Do not use this company. I ordered a cubic metre of concrete for a shed base. Agreed a delivery date. Paid up front. They failed to deliver. Claimed the lorry had broken down. They were unable to tell me when they could deliver so I cancelled the order. I re-ordered from another company (SRC) who were brilliant and significantly cheaper. The failed delivery was over a month ago and they still haven't refunded my money despite numerous phone calls.

Awful customer service
Awful customer service. They charged me for 16 cubic metres even though I only used 12 they should be reported as they are all criminals. Avoid them like the plague.

Concrete delivery
After many years of being a Builder and overseeing countless concrete pours I have never experienced anything like this. There are a number of issues I could list but let me just mention one. For what was a simple pour it took my guys nearly 3 hours to clean up after, working well into the evening. During the pour the driver recognised the mess that was building up and said "don't worry I will give you a hand" but at the first opportunity shot away from the site. In my opinion this was handled in a very unprofessional way and I certainly will not be using this service again.
