Brilliant first time experience dealing wirh the cleaning doc. Bobby was my point of contact throughout the whole process and he kept me up to date at every step.
Would definitely recommend for your designer items. Other dry cleaners was scared to even touch my jackets Bobby reassured me it’s a simple job for the Cleaning Doc which he delivered on. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very rude team, I sent raining coat, and loro piana loafers, got responded "we do only puffer coats at the moment"

I was nervous about finding the right dry cleaners for my trench that has a unique heat press graffiti print as well as being made in cotton gabardine. So I reached out to the cleaning doc team who stayed in touch every step of the way. My coat arrived back within 5 days good as new. 💯 recommend them.

I have been using The Cleaning Doc for a few years now and with all honesty every piece of item I have given them they have rejuvenated it back to life looking brand new and fresh! Huge thanks to the team at The Cleaning Doc. Sent in my Canada Goose Gilet for a deep clean and when it was returned to me it looked brand new again. Quality of the service is top notch and swift. Highly recommend them for all your designer clothing. Will be using them again.

Extremely disappointing experience, particularly with the way my complaint was handled by Bobby.

I sent my T-shirt specifically for stain removal, not simply a normal dry clean. Before sending it, I provided pictures and videos clearly showing the exact stain that needed treating.

I paid £40 for the treatment, an additional £10 to send it to them and another £10 for return postage.

However, the money is not my issue here. I genuinely do not care about the amount paid.

My reason for writing this review is primarily the way I was spoken to and treated when I raised a legitimate concern.

I was told it would take around 5 days to see whether the stain could be removed. After waiting, I was specifically informed that the stain had been removed.When the T-shirt was returned, the exact stain I had originally photographed and recorded was still clearly visible.

Mistakes can happen. What turned this into a genuinely bad experience was the way Bobby dealt with it when I called.

I asked a very simple question:

If the stain is still there, why was I told it had been removed?

Instead of acknowledging that a mistake may have been made or apologising, he referred to them dealing with “10–20 different items with different issues every day”.

As a customer, the number of other garments being dealt with isn’t my responsibility. More importantly, I had already sent pictures and videos clearly identifying the stain before sending the T-shirt to them. I sent the garment in for one specific issue: that stain.

Bobby also referred to their video of the T-shirt and said the stain wasn’t visible. However, their video wasn’t a close-up of the stained area. I have the physical garment back and the stain is still visible.

He initially said I could send it back for another attempt. When I raised the additional time, inconvenience and potential cost this would cause me, he responded that sending items back “costs them money too”. I found this particularly confusing considering I had paid the £10 return postage myself.
To be absolutely clear, I did not mention expense because I am concerned about the monetary value. I mentioned it because I do not believe I should be expected to incur additional costs to rectify something I had already paid to have dealt with, particularly after being specifically told that the stain had been removed.
After I continued asking for some accountability for being told the stain had been removed when it hadn’t, Bobby eventually told me not to send the T-shirt back and abruptly hung up the phone.

That’s my main issue.

I understand that not every stain can necessarily be removed. Had they simply told me the treatment was unsuccessful, I could have accepted that.

I would have been far more understanding if somebody had simply said:

“We’re sorry, it looks like we’ve made a mistake. Let us look into what happened and see how we can sort this out.”

That would probably have been the end of the matter.

What I cannot understand is being told the stain had been removed, receiving it back still stained, and then being treated dismissively when I questioned it.

For me, this review isn’t about the £60.

It’s about communication, accountability and how a customer is treated when something goes wrong.

I also want to make something very clear: I have written this review in good faith and I have not knowingly included anything here that is untrue or exaggerated. This is an honest account of my experience and the conversations I had.

If The Cleaning Doc wishes to challenge any part of what I have written in response to this review, I would ask that they first verify the events directly with Bobby and ask him whether what I have described about our conversation is an honest reflection of what took place.

I also have the pictures and videos showing the stain before the T-shirt was sent, as well as the garment now returned to me with the stain still visible.

I am more than comfortable standing behind what I have written.

Based purely on my own experience, I found the way Bobby handled my complaint extremely unprofessional, dismissive and disappointing.

I expected considerably better customer service from a business specialising in handling customers’ clothing, particularly when trusting them with potentially valuable garments.

Couldn’t thank them enough was so pleased the way my coat come back as I couldn’t wear it for years it looks like a whole new coat

Customer service and cleaning service top tier. Handled the situation brilliantly when it come down to dropping the my clothing off and collecting. Most defiantly recommend.

Please please do not be fooled by instagram and avoid these guys (when you write anything negative, they delete the comments and then block you). Their approach it to blast your clothes with the harshest possible chemicals, without trying to preserve the integrity of delicate fabrics. The result: an £800 dress returned to me looking like a cat has scratched it. Save yourself the money and heartache. I have had to make a formal complaint and will have no choice but to report them to trade standards and start a claim if they continue to not respond…

They revived my white LV tee that had some horrible stains I couldn’t get out myself. Definitely worth the price, you get what you pay for!

This is an excellent company, fast, really good at what they do and have great customer service with honesty and follow up from start to finish. I came in with a never cleaned Gucci cap that looked like ready for the trash.. I sent it from Norway and boom, one week later it’s on my head again looking great.

I’ve used cleaningdoc for some while now and honestly can say there services get better every time . There communication is spot on , always keeping me up to date on how everything’s going . Also the time it takes from when you send out your clothing to it being ready to send right back out to you is exceptional , can’t thank the team enough for everything

I would not hesitate to recommend The Cleaning Doc company for removing a coffee stain from my favourite Karen Millen coat I received great service and they communicated with me at every stage so helpful professional and friendly and because we thought the stain could not be removed they have done such an amazing job I am so pleased thank so much and I will be able to continue in wearing my favourite coat.
