I ordered a book on the 30th of September 2024 for £14.09 and it never arrived. I emailed customer support twice and have had no response. Would not recommend this company at all.

I ordered some specialist books from this company, and checked before ordering that they would be delivered within one week. Needless to say they were not delivered, and I then got an email stating that they were out of stock (even though on their website they said they were in stock) and could take up to 6 weeks to deliver (and even that they could not guarantee). I have cancelled the order and am currently waiting for my refund. Would not go near this company again, as you can never be sure that they have the books in stock until they have taken your money.

Avoid this bookstore , customer service so poor.
Hi ,
I ordered two books on 4th march and hoped to receive them within a week to ten days, as they are based in England and I am just in Ireland.
It took thirty five days , emails to customer service , who kept fobbing me off .
I then started a Paypal claim and asked for a refund , the book depository did not answer one of my mails from paypal.
The Books have just arrived , from Switzerland ?
Unless you don't mind waiting , I would not recommend this store to anyone and as you can see Customer Service is poor.

Accepted order, book in stock, week before Christmas order cancelled book not in stock!
Ordered a book as a Christmas present that was out of stock with amazon.co.uk themselves, but showing as in stock with The Book Depository Ltd. through amazon marketplace partially because of The Book Depository Ltd's many good reviews. 4 days after the order was placed, I received 2 automated emails through amazon, the first saying that the item hadn't been dispatched and therefore might not arrive in time, and a second saying that it was cancelled as out of stock. I am very disappointed and will have to try to get the book somewhere else. Not only did they accept an order that they had no way of fulfilling, they also communicated their mistake without apology through an impersonal automated email. Certainly couldn't recommend use of this company.

I always get what I want
I order from the book depository every month or so, either for myself or for friends and family in Australia. I love the free delivery and that they deliver to NZ as well, which a lot of UK sites don't. They are cheap and I always get what I have ordered no hassles, which is perfect! They have a great range of books, as sometimes my family want some obscure books, and I always find what I am looking for.

Great costumer service, free shipping.
The prices are the lowest around, plus with the free shipping it's even cheaper. I had a problem with a book that never arrived, they refunded me right away and delivered them properly when I re-ordered. I will definitely order again!

Not too much to say about this company as I am fairly new to it, so far though everything has been great.
I have managed to source a few hard to find books through them, which I have placed orders for, they have arrived quickly in excellent condition due to the packaging. and to top it off the prices were great too... what more could you ask for.

Stort udvalg i bøger, brugte som nye og gratis levering til DK.
