I ordered a laundry basket on July 24th and it arrived in good time. Unfortunately it wasn't suitable, so I returned it. Despite at least 5 emails and 4 phone calls, (answerphone only) I still haven't received a refund. I've no idea about the shop itself, but the customer service for the online shopping sector is non-existent.

A wonderful find! We enjoyed an absolutely delicious crab sandwich—impeccably fresh and very generous in size. A warm, inviting setting for a truly delightful treat. We will definitely be back!

Do not order from this company!!!! Ordered a rug 2 weeks ago and not received. They don’t answer any calls, they don’t respond to emails and don’t respond via the chat! It seems that this is common for this company and i should of read the reviews!!

Appalling company. As I can see from other reviews this is sadly a common problem. I requested a refund for a rug that was unsuitable and returned it at my own cost with tracked delivery. I had confirmation from Royal Mail of delivery but absolutely no contact from The Old Piggery. I have been trying to contact The Old Piggery via email, website contact form and phone call (the phone always rings through to answerphone) but no response. Two weeks later and I've had no response or refund so I will be contacting Trading Standards. Please do not buy anything from this company.




I ordered two sets of sheepskin patio rugs on 23 rd May and paid just under £200 by credit card. I was very much looking forward to receiving my purchase . The items were not delivered . The courier tracking showed it was returned to the seller as the packaging was damaged in transit before it ever reached me . There was photographic evidence of its return to The Old Piggery shop. I contacting the seller multiple times . I sent in excess of twenty messages , left voicemails and direct messages via instagram. Despite agreeing to re send the items Martin Bowley from the The Old Piggery then stopped responding to my emails completely.

I raised the matter with my credit card company, who upheld my claim and refunded me. Based on my experience and I would not use this company again and now reading other reviews I see this has happened to other people.

Wish I had read these reviews first. Ordered 2 rugs 3 weeks ago, they havant arrived and can't get anyone to answer phone. I have sent 3 email and no response. The money has been taken from my account

I wish I could give zero stars. My item has not been sent, although the money has been debited. I will try to get the bank to reverse the transaction as there is no response from my repeat attempts to communicate with the company. Absolute scammers!

Incredible range of sheepskins. Some need to be ordered in as stock sells through quickly.

I’ve been a returning customer of The Old Piggery and have spent good money with them over time on rugs, slippers and other items. I used to trust this company — but after my recent experience, I won’t ever buy from them again.

I received a pair of gloves that arrived faulty, with the stitching coming undone. When I contacted them, I had to chase for a response. I intitialy wanted a mn exchange but then decided after the way the emails back back from them I wanted nothing more to do with them. Such rude emails! After stating I wanted a refund there were no replies to multiple emails, no acknowledgement, no attempt to resolve the issue.

Their customer service is genuinely awful. They ignored every message I sent, and the only way I could get my money back was by involving my bank, who had to step in because The Old Piggery refused to deal with the problem themselves.

For a company I once trusted, this behaviour is unacceptable. The lack of communication, accountability and basic customer care is shocking. I’m disgusted by how this was handled and will never purchase from them again. I’d strongly advise others to think twice before ordering.

I bought a sheepskin foot stool from this company and had to returned it as it was a little too low and the wrong colour. The cost of returning it was £11, which i paid, the foot stool was £89.00 -and days later as I'd heard nothing from them despite me leaving voice messages and emails, asking for confirmation that they had received the stool back and would process a refund. I've also phoned several times and no one it picking up. I'm about to contact my bank to see if they will do a charge back.
I went on their Facebook page to leave a message and noticed that other people were having the same issues as me.

Sadly an order of £100 for sheepskin rugs not delivered and unable to make any contact. Have sent emails, left phone messages and even via facebook. I recommend do not buy from The Old Piggery as they msy be going into receivership. Buy elsewhere in case you lose your money too. Best of luck
