In hindsight, I should have exercised more caution. Your order was flagged on my system as “high chargeback risk,” and despite this, I still chose to proceed in good faith because I genuinely believed I would be helping a woman feel more confident in herself.

I’d like to clarify a few points for transparency. The refund was issued as a goodwill gesture, not because the service was not delivered.

Under consumer law, you were not entitled to a refund, as this is a personalised service. However, I still chose to issue one purely as a gesture of goodwill to ensure a positive customer experience.

Your guide was completed and sent in full, in line with the timeframe stated on my website (2–3 weeks), which you were aware of prior to purchasing. You received yours on the 22nd day so a 1 day delay. If customer satisfaction wasn’t a priority, I wouldn’t have taken the time to invite your feedback, revise your edit twice, and ultimately issue a refund. Please ensure your claims accurately reflect the full experience.

Regarding the formatting the guide you received follows the same structured format and level of detail provided to all clients, and many have had highly positive, transformative results from it. It’s important to note that dissatisfaction with suggestions is subjective and does not reflect a lack of work or thought behind the analysis.

I always encourage clients to follow up if they haven’t received their guide, as delivery via email can occasionally result in bounce-backs or technical issues. This is something I’m transparent about from the beginning, and I make sure all clients are aware so nothing is missed.

I’d also like to clarify that when I asked you to point out which specific parts of the guide you felt were “choppy,” I didn’t receive a response and you started becoming defensive. If there were genuine issues, I’m always open to reviewing and improving them. However, making broad claims without identifying anything specific and exaggerating to get a point across is not a fair representation of the work delivered. As a business that has supported thousands of clients, I take the quality and presentation of my work very seriously. With my tech / editing skills why would my guides be choppy and any different?

I also want to address the claim that the work was “rushed” or “copied” every guide is created individually based on the client’s features. Suggesting otherwise is simply not accurate. Anyone frequently using emails espically to send over large files multiple times in the day would know.

I always aim to work with clients to ensure they feel supported, and I offer revisions where appropriate. However, exaggerating aspects of the service after a refund has already been granted is unfair and misrepresents the experience.

While I respect that not every service will align with every individual, I stand by the quality and effort behind my work and the results it has delivered for thousands of clients worldwide.

This claim is completely false. Firstly, my editing style is clearly shown across all of my social media my work is always natural, realistic, and never looks like a filter. I do not alter features in any unnatural or distorted way, so these accusations are unfounded and have made multiple videos about the inaccurate use of AI, filters and CHATGPT.

Additionally, I have no record of ever working with a customer named “JJ” from Canada. I also know this review is false. If a client were genuinely unhappy, they would have contacted me directly first as all clients are aware they have up to two revisions available to ensure their satisfaction. I have not received any email or communication raising these concerns at all.

Every guide I create is fully customised based on your individual features, colouring, proportions and overall harmony. The recommendations are not random or “generic” they are intentionally selected using a professional colour analysis system and facial analysis, which may feel unfamiliar if you’re used to seeing yourself a certain way.

A big part of this service is trusting the process. In most cases, the suggestions will be different from what you’re currently doing because the goal is to improve and elevate your look, not repeat what you already have.

In terms of details like hair length in inspiration images these are used to demonstrate colour, shape and overall aesthetic direction rather than being literal 1:1 copies. This is also outlined in the service. This why you have a digital mock up where I showed you the cut with your current hair length.

Everything included in your guide was carefully tailored to you, and your questions were responded to in full. I also edited your image multiple times and took the time to clearly explain the reasoning behind each recommendation so you could understand how to implement it confidently.

This service works best for those who are open to change and willing to trust professional guidance. Naturally, not every approach will resonate with everyone, and that’s okay but it doesn’t mean the work isn’t personalised or intentional. The majority of my clients trust the process, implement the recommendations, and see results they wouldn’t have achieved on their own.

I’m sorry you’re not satisfied, but this is not an accurate reflection of the situation.

1. I did not announce any delay after your purchase this information was already clearly stated on my website prior to ordering. At the time of purchase, it was outlined that guides can take approximately 2–3 weeks to complete. If a guide takes longer than this timeframe, clients are advised to follow up so I can check and resolve it promptly.


2. You did receive your guide when I followed up, and at no point did I say I had “forgotten to send it.” The second part of your order was sent separately only because the file size was too large to fit in one email. It’s also surprising to see you’ve decided to write this after months of receiving your guide?

3. I also want to be very clear that this guide was not AI-generated. My work is fully tailored to each individual client, and I do not provide generic or automated content in place of a personalised service. These are serious claims. While we live in a time where many things are assumed to be AI, the level of detail, personalised advice, and realistic visual edit provided in my guides cannot be replicated by AI in a way that is accurate, natural, and respectful of a client’s features.

4. Your analysis was tailored specifically to you for example, your round face shape was taken into account when recommending your haircut, layering, and overall styling direction. These are not generic suggestions; they are based on individual facial structure, proportions, and colouring.

It’s completely okay if you don’t agree with the makeover or don’t feel ready for the changes suggested. However, it’s not fair to exaggerate the situation or make inaccurate claims about what happened especially when I made every effort to support you throughout.

After your review, I reached out multiple times to ask how I could help, and when I initially sent your guide, I clearly included a note encouraging you to contact me with any questions when i first sent the guide as well. I also offer revisions for clients who are unhappy, which you did not request.

Through offering this service, I’ve learned that it can be a very emotional experience. How we see ourselves is deeply personal, and sometimes if someone doesn’t like a suggested haircut or colour even when it has been carefully and professionally assessed that reaction can be directed toward the service / business itself.

I completely understand that these changes can feel unfamiliar at first, which is why I always encourage open communication so I can guide and support you through the process. I am always open to working with my clients to ensure they feel comfortable and supported, but this requires communication.

This service is designed to provide expert recommendations on what objectively suits you best it’s not a subjective “choose your preference” service.

You also shared personal context at the time, which I handled with care and empathy, and I remained respectful throughout our communication. At no point was there any intention to be rude or dismissive.

Regarding the edit if a photo is taken at an angle, lighting, or expression that doesn’t reflect you at your best, it can impact how the transformation is perceived. This is exactly why I offered you a second edit and asked you to send another photo, which I’m still more than happy to do because you said you didn’t feel your best when you took that selfie.

I also want to address the suggestion that I am defensive or unprofessional. I stand by my work and my boundaries, but I always aim to resolve concerns constructively as shown by my offer to re-edit your image and continue supporting you.

I’d also like to clarify the delivery timeline. All guides are completed within a 2–3 week timeframe, which you were made aware of prior to purchase. Your guide was completed and sent within this timeframe. In fact, your edit was finished earlier than expected however, the initial email did not go through and bounced back due to connectivity issues. As soon as I became aware of this, I resent it promptly, still well within the stated delivery window (and this is why I ask clients to follow up in case there are issues with emails).

My goal has always been to help women feel more confident and aligned with their best features, and I’ve done this for thousands of clients worldwide.

If you would still like to proceed with the additional edit, you’re welcome to send over a new photo along with any specific preferences (e.g. hair colour or style), and I’ll gladly assist further. However, in this instance, I have decided to offer you a full refund as a gesture of goodwill and to sympathise with your personal situation, despite the service being delivered as described and within the stated timeframe.
