This planter does not work at all. I bought it as a kickstarter and it hasn’t once kept a plant alive, and after using my tap water in it it stopped letting water through to the point of plants during. It just oozes white and yellow and is moldy and gross constantly. I’ve tried cleaning it three times following supports instructions and only using distilled water as instructed now, and it still doesn’t work. All support is willing to do is offer me 20% off a new one, they refuse to replace it free as they should because I did nothing wrong. I would NOT buy this.

Don’t buy! Expierence with three tevaplanters was disastrous, the plants don’t thrive and the containers get covered in mold fast.
An order of two wall mounted tiles arrived AFTER TWO YEARS waiting time without any meaningful communications! This is not what you call a serious business.

STRONG RECOMMENDATION NOT TO BUY!

Quick delivery and great packaging . The planters looks amazing

Even though the products might look amazing, you can expect clearly a year or more for your purchase, and the worst part is that they don’t communicate with the clients or bakers of their projects unless if they want more money out of you due to additional shipping costs or wanting you to add more things to your order. You are left for months on end believing you have been scammed, having no clue why no one replies to any sort of communication or what is happening with the expensive order you’ve placed. Absolutely terrible experience. There is no beauty on the items that could possible compensate for Tevaplanter’s horrible way of working and non existing communication. An experience I strongly advise against.

VERY sad that they never fulfilled a backer's order when I funded the project in good faith :(

I don't receive the package yet even thought I ordered it 4 weeks ago.
I've been communicating with the customer support team for 3 weeks but nothing is resolved.

I’ve tried multiple times to contact and order wholesale. No one will get back to me. Very disappointing.

I've ordered one of tevaplanters of the initial Kickstarter campaign. Unfortunately, it never really worked, and it got a dust collector on our shelf. Lately, I finally managed to contact tevaplanter and explain my issues with the lack of water diffusion. After some back and forth about how I might be able to resolve my diffusion problem, I got a replacement :D.
I only had to pay the shipping costs, which wasn't too bad initially. However, the first tests (with the included chia seeds, and some orchids) are not really convincing :/
The water diffusion seems to work with the new tevaplanter, as there is excess water in the drip tray, however, our seeds and orchis are kinda drying out instead of flourishing ...

I want to emphasize that after the initial delay, the support really tended to customer care, tried to help resolve the issue, and provided the final "solution" with the replacement.
However, considering the high costs and the limited usability, the cost-benefit calculation does not pay off in my opinion.

My experience has a little good little bad. I think the main problem is a lack of consistency across the product. I have two Tevaplanters that I finally treated myself to after pondering over them for a long while.

One works great, the other does not. There seems to be a difference in porosity? Permeability? Between the two planters, so while on one you can see beads of water collect in the little divots towards the bottom, on the other you can’t. I used the provided Chia seeds to test out both when they first arrived and the porous one is growing nicely, but the on the other one they have just dried out and never sprouted.

Because I ordered two I got one good one and one that is probably a dud, so it may be luck which one you receive and that it probably what contributes to some of the bad reviews. If you get a dud it just won’t work.

Otherwise I really love the look of the planters and how low maintenance they are, but the quality control of the product is lacking.

I don’t think mine is working!
It doesn’t seep water out and I can’t get any seeds to start using the sowing methods. I tried soaking the Chia seeds as well as grass seeds using agar agar and nothing has worked for me.

Planters were very well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. They are nice looking. Reason for purchase was to move my smaller orchids that are outgrowing their pots. I picked the healthiest one I had with a ton of air roots that were extremely healthy (outgrowing its pot severely). Despite spraying it every day, ALL my roots except for one shrivelled up and died. Plant is hanging by one root. I also have a humidifier going 10 hours a day to help. The other planter is still in its box. Hoping this works since I also have 4 wall tiles coming in from kickstarter!!!
(and now seeing on youtube where some are using moss to wrap the roots to help keep it moist until established...not on the instructions on the website. May try that on the second one that is still in its box!)

The tevaplanter is pleasing to look at, beautifully made and offers a wide range of exciting possibilities for growing a variety of diverse plants indoors. She [who must be obeyed!] is always casting about for material to arrange in vases, be they simply flowers or fronds or exquisite branches. This planter will allow her to combine the living with the beauty of what are necessarily short term displays. Peace and harmony blankets the internal spaces... what else could one ask for?

I’ve followed the directions exactly. I started with the chia seeds sent by tevaplanter. Soaking them first. The applying them to the planter that had been filled half way and was seeping water in the outside. But the only way too keep seeds moist is to spray them continuously. The Terracotta needs to be thinner to keep the seeds moist
