Hello,
We are so sorry that your experience wasn't our best. We did review the calls and unfortunately we cannot tell you what part of the DNA specifically came from your mother or your father. This is not a service that we provide. We can strictly see what alleles (numbers) you have in your DNA. Then we compare them to the specific family member you are testing with, for that particular relationship.
In each genetic loci, you will receive 1 allele from your mother and 1 from your father. But the only way to know what you received from a parent specifically, we would need to include one of the parents. If we are performing a sibling test or another relationship test, we compare the matches and give a probability and percentage of that probability on the results.

Paternity testing was amazing and fast
They where amazing and fast, quickly responds to emails. I don’t know if I will have to use this in court so I can’t comment on that section but Paternity testing was easy and directions simple. Even my idiot husband could do it.

Scott was fa tastic giving us updates as we anxiously awaited the results for our sibling test. We were disapp with the nurse who took our DMA samples. She told us it was ok if we drank water or ate before test and she was WRONG! Fortunately the tests came back clearly despite her having to retest our sister in question because she put the ribbon on the wrong swabs.

I am curious about the collection by the labtech. I see all samples were collected on the same day at a LabCorp patient service center. Did she recollect your sister on the spot? We always want to make sure everything is collected properly and we sometimes stop using certain locations, if there are issues.
Eating or drinking should be discouraged before the collection. But the good news is, it doesn't change your DNA. But bad news, it can take longer for extractions at the lab. And we know no-one wants to wait longer than needed, for results.
