Loved the attention and care with which this was packaged, including my name on the card. The tea is delicious and this is also the only place I've been able to find Genmaicha powder. My only suggestion would be to include storage instructions on the packaging (fridge? cupboard?). Otherwise delighted with this lovely company.

This is the second time that I bought from the Tencha website and I have been more than happy with the quality of the service and of the products. I received the ordered products quickly, they were beautifully packed and of high quality. This time I bought the Kamui-kotan Bracelet as a gift and it is very beautiful and high quality - I was not disappointed! Its recipient was very impressed and happy with it. I was very happy to find this site, which offers a carefully curated selection of Japanese teas from small producers. I lived for many years in Kyoto and continue to value fine Japanese teas, not easy to find in Europe.
My daughter-in-law brought me some wako-cha from Kyoto, which I loved, and I've tried unsuccessfully to find similar quality in Europe from French and German companies. When I tried two from Tencha, I was delighted with both of them as they were close to what I'd been looking for. The Chiyonoen Tea Garden: Snowing Mountain Yame Benifuuki Spring is delicate and floral with muscatel notes and has a lovely bright colour. Great for special moments. The Murakami Tea Garden Mountain Grown First Flush Benifuuki has a deeper taste but, like other wako-cha, has very little astringency and perfect for everyday drinking so I've been drinking it at breakfast. It does benefit from a 5-minute steeping. I ordered the teas in London and they arrived quickly. Hope they will also deliver to France, where I now live.
