I have been a customer for a few years and was very disappointed when I received my subscription renewal charge, only to find out it was £10 higher than if I had cancelled the renewal and resubscribed.
I was prepared to swallow the cost of them removing the pre-loved book option, but that appeared to be a blatant attempt to charge current customers more and hope they didn't notice.
Also, during the last subscription, I had two problems with delivery, where I had to email TeaTime Bookshop, as the book had not been sent out.
When I first started with the company, they were amazing but unfortunately standards have dropped dramatically. This is such a shame as the product is really good and I enjoy receiving the books every month. Hopefully, they will get back to putting customers first. I will just set a reminder each time to cancel my subscription at the end of the term and rebook it for cheaper on the website.

I had subscription for Best seller and for 6 months I got no name books. It clearly was the complete opposite of bestselling books, they put in the box things they couldn’t sell. Very disappointed

Beware ordered a Book Hamper as a Christmas Present. This has still yet to arrive. They do not respond to emails they only assigned a tracking number to the order after I raised a claim with Paypal. The item still has not been shipped they just raised a tracking number to pacify Me and Paypal. How long does it take to put 2 books, some Tea and Biscuits and Red wine in a box? I do this for a living so I know when I am being taken for a ride!

Have ordered from Teatime Bookshop a few times now. Have loved all my orders.

My other half is really difficult to buy for but is an avid reader. The monthly subscription with Crime novels, some lovely coffee and biscuits have been a real hit. It's an absolute no brainer so I renewed the arrangement for the next year. I'm back in the good books....(pun intended).

Excellent service. The first box arrived in a timely fashion. I love the book. The story very thoughtfully takes place in Edinburgh where I live and I am enjoying it immensely along with a good hot chocolate and biscuits. Being able to choose your favourite genre is a big bonus for me. I thoroughly recommend it.

Arrived on time and the app is very useful as you know exactly where the driver is and when he will arrive.
The book was in very good condition and enjoyed the tea flavours and biscuits I received with it as well as bookmark and postcard.
Only downside was delivery driver knocked left book on doorstep and then drove away other drivers have always waited to see if i got my box handed over.

Bought the bestsellers book box subscription for a gift. She loves it! Great service.

Love this subscription of Teatime Books, I get a nice surprise of a couple of random chosen books and a coffees and biscuit, good quality books too.

I love this subscription, it makes a great gift, a nice surprise when the parcel arrives, always good reads (Crime/Thriller genre) and the treats that arrive in the box are always lovely.

My 70-something mother loved the 3-month gift subscription that I purchased for her birthday. It's a nice treat for her to look forward to.
My dad also enjoyed the can of beer that I included with the first package. So full points from me!

Wow, loving my vintage subscription with two hard to find vintage Puffin books, one is the Profumo Affair and other is selected stories by WS Maugham . Lovely Earl Grey Tea and Viennese biscuits. Although not drank the Mint Tea as not keen (it went to a family member who is!).

Was fantastic for the first few months then the price was increased significantly which I wasn’t expecting so will sadly have to cancel soon as can buy books for this price easily!!!!
Unexpected!!!!

I loved this subscription for my gran! It was perfect. When she passed I had a few months left so wanted to change the address on the subscription. Couldn't do it on my account so I contacted through the website and they cancelled my account with no refund for remaining months. I emailed to ask why and had no reply. Very disappointed with customer service and lack of communication on their end.

I like the package and book, the only thing is that I was thinking they are going to choose a world-wide best seller book, but it was a UK based best seller, but again, I am happy with it.

I was a bit hesitant about this service because of a few reviews about their customer service, but I must say my doubts have been erased. I took the ‘surprise me’ subscription with coffee & 2 books and have received two deliveries so far. The books are of great quality, the coffee I’ve received is of great variety, as are the biscuits. They are of course not the highest quality, but for this low of a price that’s logical in my opinion. The packaging is also very sturdy, which is necessary as I live overseas.

So far, I’ve had to reach out to customer services twice and I have been serviced perfectly. They answered quickly and fixed my issues for me almost immediately. One time was to change my shipment date and the other one was about my shipment tracker being the same for the second shipment as it was for the first so I couldn’t track it. My date got moved up from the end of the month to the beginning of the month and they sorted out the tracking system.

I truly recommend this service! I’ve always been a bit more on the careful side with book subscriptions, but this one is worth the money!
