My experience with this store started off a bit rocky. First day we walk in and prices were through the roof. I’m talking $10 for Paldea Evolved packs that are normally $7 and nearly $5 for penny sleeves. But the owner explained that the prices were high to save stock for Pokemon day which was happening the following day. So, we saved our money and decided to go tomorrow.

Next day, I go on my own and there is a massive line. I expected as much due to it being an event here so I waited. And they have little mini events they were doing with the people in the line to keep them entertained. I finally get into the store, and prices haven’t changed. Still well over market. But I shrug it off as paying for confidence at this point cause they have stock and it’s close by.

I continue to come back to the store and expect the prices to drop at any point but they stay high even weeks after the pokemon day. But I pay it for the convenience. Until one day I am opening packs in the store and this guy comes in with big black trash bags full of new pokemon merchandise. The guy admits to having bought all of the stock off the target shelves and the owner offers to buy all of their stock. The guys continues to come in and out bringing in multiple bags at a time as the owner proceeds to take that new stock and put it on the shelves. This was my last straw for me. While I’m fine with the boosted prices, I can not fund scalping. This is a personal issue of mine so I will not be returning.

Then on top of all that, the owner just has a nasty attitude. A friend of mine called him out on his high prices and he got rude with him. And he responds to every negative review he gets by blaming it on the customer and making it their fault. Trust me when I say, there are better locations close by that have stock at better prices and the people are way nicer. This place just isn’t worth the time.

Pompous people who disrespect their customers, ignore complaints, refuse to refund orders that never arrive, and then blame you for their failure to communicate.

Placed three separate orders with TCGdistrict — not a single one was fulfilled.
They created shipping labels but never actually shipped anything. Tracking numbers sat inactive for weeks.

Repeated emails and inquiries were completely ignored. There is no real customer service to speak of — just radio silence once they have your money. Tried to comment on their Instagram and they BLOCKED ME.

At best, this is a company plagued by serious incompetence and negligence. At worst, it raises serious concerns about their business practices.

Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere. This is not a company you can rely on.
