Where are you ?…

Great company!

Had a slight issue with a pair I had bought but the aftercare was unbelievably good. Worth buying again and they have some great sunnies!

Poor

Sadly I wish I had read some of these reviews before ordering. I placed my order and sadly the glasses did not suit. I followed the returns instructions and returned via DPD. Two weeks later, there is no update from DPD. I have chased Taylor Morris but their customer service is poor to say the least.

Law Breaking Returns Process

I love the style of their glasses, but sadly, the lenses weren't as dark as I prefer, so I decided to return both pairs I’d ordered.

On their website, they mention returns can take up to 30 days to process, though I didn’t expect it to actually take that long – it usually doesn’t, right?

Well, wrong! My returns were delivered back on Saturday, 26th October, and I’m still waiting for any acknowledgment, let alone a processed refund. Given I paid by credit card, I’d like my refund promptly to clear the balance.

By law, sellers are required to issue a refund within 14 days from the day they receive the returned item or proof of postage. This deadline has passed, so Taylor Morris are now in breach of these regulations. Just a heads-up!

EDIT: When I reached out to Taylor Morris informing them that I would be reporting them to Trading Standards, they processed my return in just three hours. So - that's how you get your returns process quickly by the way!!!

I don't recommend buying from this…

I wouldn't recommend buying from this website. I ordered glasses that arrived faulty—understandable, as these things happen—but the return process was a nightmare. DPD provided a photo showing someone receiving the parcel, and yet it was marked undelivered on the same day. When I contacted customer support, I was told it would take 30 days to process the refund. I’m certain that’s not standard practice or within legal guidelines, but this company doesn’t seem to mind.

Gone downhill

Having been a loyal customer for 9 years, I have had enough of Taylor Morris. The glasses are great, but the customer service is atrocious. I ordered a pair of glasses on 22nd June. I chased the order on 12th July, to be told they had been shipped on 27th June, but the tracking was not working and they can't locate them. I have now asked to cancel the order, and disappointingly I am not getting any responses to my request. I now have to inform my credit card company to dispute this transaction to get my refund.

Sincerely disappointing. Shop with caution.

Fantastic sunglasses and equally fantastic customer services! I mistakenly entered the wrong delivery address and Matt got everything sorted for me so the gift arrived perfectly in time. Thank you, Matt. Recipient delighted with the glasses!

I really wouldn't recommend this…

I really wouldn't recommend this company. They have really poor customer service and returns organisation. I've had issues with them every time I've ordered something and so have my friends.

One time I returned 2 pairs of glasses and they tried to only refund me for one saying that's all they have received. The manager I talked to gave me a lot of attitude on the phone before finally they refunded both. Really rude.

I'm currently now still awaiting a refund after 4 weeks after giving them another try. I think they are running a very disorganised company with poor communication and the glasses in all honesty are not that great either.

Great Glasses... Poor Returns & Service

I want to start by saying the glasses are great. They look great, good quality, and the despatch time was good.
What really lets them down is the returns. I returned a pair a few years ago, and had to chase my refund when 30 days had passed. I had hoped things would have gotten better or that it was a one off, but sadly not. I returned a pair and again had to chase when no money was refunded after 30 days, to be told there was no record of any return. I sent proof of delivery and tracking (using the specific link they told me to use, so unsure why they couldn't track themselves). I then had to chase AGAIN a week later when nothing was done. All in all it was 6 weeks between TM receiving the returned frames and me receiving a refund. No apologies or further explanations were given.
There was also a pair they emailed me to say they couldn't send as it wasn't in stock, and even that took 2 weeks from the point of me asking for a refund to receive my money.

The unfortunate fact of the matter is that I need the option of being able to return when I haven't tried the glasses on. I think I would only order in the future if it was to replace a specific frame that I know I like, but even then it is risky given the customer service is poor. Such a shame

Thanks for the feedback, we tried to backtrack the orders to see what happened since the first issue but unfortunately couldn't find much as some members of the team are no longer part of the company. As for the most recent order, we have experienced some issues with DPD regarding returns, we are not always able to track or find the information of the return through their system, so we rely heavily on the customer identifying their parcel and request upon the return. Unsure if this was the case, but if the team is not able to identify a parcel or allocate it appropriately once it's sent back, it will be logged as an unidentified return, waiting for the customer to get in touch eventually to sort it out. After that's done, the 30-day period of allowance starts and it's a standard for all the steps involving a return of a frame, without counting shipping. The team does all the quality checks and cleaning to restock the frame and issue an exchange or refund.

I will forward the feedback and surely some revisions will be made to some of these processes, we can only apologise for the poor service you experienced and hope to see you shopping again.

Unacceptable refund delay

I have been waiting over 2 weeks for a refund, I know their website states a possible 30 day return wait but I really can't understand why a refund cannot be processed within 2 weeks, I can only assume it's a delay tactic to keep monies in their account to boost their figures and it's not acceptable, regarding the reply from Taylor Morris,it states my refund had already been processed before my review, which is not true, I posted this review and sent an email before I was eventually refunded.

As stated in our policy we maintain a 30-day period of allowance for processing all requests, which cover the time to review the order, quality control and check of the goods. That period of time covers all the volume of orders and does not overload the team with the shipments coming in and out. We have checked your order and can see that your refund had already been processed in the morning before your review, might just be some delay with the processing between Shopify, Paypal and the bank.

Unique designs

Rank them with the likes of other major designer brands. The designs are unique and glasses are comfortable to wear. I’d be buying another one soon.

Excellent quality, unique frames!

Excellent quality, unique frames! I absolutely love my zero sunglasses (matt rose tint), I’m always complimented and asked who the brand/designer is. The frames are first-rate, rose tint is super stylish. Packaging is sustainable, and good quality. My only suggestion would be to see a more premium case as opposed to soft travel pouch, consider the option to upgrade at checkout. Overall highly recommend, 10/10.
