Delicious selection of mustards, curry pastes and fresh wasabi root. We didn’t know at the time but the order was perfectly timed as our family was struck down with COVID and the wonderful spicy flavours were very comforting. Will definitely be shopping with you again! 😊

Misleading and Disappointing: Gluten Fiasco in a Gluten-Free Hamper

My daughter has severe Coeliac Disease, so I was thrilled to stumble upon Tasmanian Gourmet Online's promise of a gluten-free hamper as an Easter gift. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration and disappointment upon seeing photos of her opened package.

To my horror, nestled among the supposedly gluten-free products were items clearly labeled with gluten-containing ingredients. It's not just a minor oversight; it's a dangerous deception for those with Ceoliac disease or gluten sensitivities who rely on such assurances for their health.

The lack of attention to detail and disregard for accurate labeling is utterly unacceptable. It's not just a matter of inconvenience; it's a potential health hazard. This is a colossal failure for a company marketing itself as a provider of specialised dietary products.

Furthermore, attempting to rectify the situation only added insult to injury. Customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, offering a half-hearted apology and a vague promise to "look into it." 2 months later....still crickets!

In conclusion, I would strongly advise anyone with gluten sensitivities to avoid Tasmanian Gourmet Online. Their blatant disregard for accurate labeling and customer safety makes them wholly unreliable. Save yourself the disappointment and potential health risks by exploring other, more trustworthy options.

Great products. Arrived promptly. Everything was well-packed. The fresh wasabi was wrapped in an ice pack so arrived fresh. Everything was professionally done.

Bobbie Bear filled with wheat and lavender arrived promptly and is very cute in appearance and smells delightful. I haven’t used it as a heat pack or a cold pack as yet so can’t comment on that aspect, but I’m sure the lavender aroma near my pillow helps me sleep. 👍

I don't normally write negative reviews but because all attempts to communicate with this company have been ignored I find it necessary to alert other shoppers. As the gourmet hamper was a gift, the recipient wasn't looking out for it. Australia Post took the parcel to the Post office not to the address and despite the recipients phone number being supplied she was not notified. As this was a perishable parcel more care should be taken. Anzac day holiday prevented collection therefore the cheese was only fit for the bin! Despite my 2 written attempts to contact the company and completing their generated review page, no replies to my questions so sorry never again!!

I'm in Queensland and order walnut butter from this company which I can't find anywhere else, and it's delicious and healthy. Customer service and packaging is very good also.
