I can’t recommend the French Language Accelerator Program enough. Before joining, I had a basic foundation in French, but I often felt overwhelmed by everything I needed to learn and wasn’t always sure what to focus on next. I was extremely insecure about my speaking in particular!

The program gave me access to an incredible variety of resources that made learning French feel engaging and actually fun. Between the lessons, practice materials, and live coaching, I always had something meaningful to work on, and it made staying consistent so much easier.

My coach, Jonathan, is also a huge part of my success. He is patient, encouraging, and always knows how to explain things in a way that finally clicked. His guidance gave me the confidence I needed to prepare for and pass my TCF exam, which was a huge milestone for me.

Today I feel so much more comfortable having conversations in French and navigating daily life in France. Instead of feeling intimidated by the language, I actually enjoy using it. If you’re looking for a program that offers outstanding resources, supportive coaching, and makes learning French enjoyable, I highly recommend the French Language Accelerator Program.

I have signed up again for 12 weeks. I mainly use the 2 sessions a week of coaching, listening to French news the rest of the time. I am 83 so it is going slowly but I notice the difference in my comprehension of converational French and I am quite satisfied.

Why do I think the the Accelerator program has been great? There are three parts to it: 1) My tutor Khaoula has been outstanding and is exactly what I was looking for; 2) the general structure of the program and activities outside of the actual tutoring sessions -- the community, Sabrina's challenge activities,the editing, and Frédéric's e-mails -- all point to a program that is well designed and well run; and 3) the people. Everyone associated with this program has been extremely supportive and helpful. You have a great team.

Talk in French has really accelerated my French progress. You just cannot compare to immediate feedback from a coach, and Jerome has been extremely helpful in improving my pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary in our one on one sessions. I’ve also really appreciated the feedback on my essays from Sabrina and truly feel that this has been one of the most valuable parts of the program. Overall, the resources, regular check-ins, and personalised learnings make it a program I would recommend to people who want to take their French to the next level.

The learning pace is constant but unforced and the staff are super-friendly and helpful. Topics allow for self-expression and interest.

The FLA program gave me a personalised programme that I found rewarding and challenging. My two coaches prepared resources and tasks that required me to extend my French and do more than converse about familiar and easy topics. This was great, intellectually and linguistically. My coaches have at all times been encouraging, supportive and never judgemental about any mistakes that I have made. I enrolled in the FLA program last year to prepare me for a visit to France. I wanted to arrive in France and be able to converse easily with French people, and not have to go through the usual few days of reorienting myself to speaking French. This happened, I was so surprised by the number of positive comments that I received, about my spoken French. It was wonderful, and now I am back doing more FLA lessons before another trip to France next month.

When I was accepted into the French Language Accelerator Program, I did not know what to expect. Now I can say that the French Language Accelerator Program is everything you could want from an online language course. The coach is smart and communicative and knows my goals for learning French. He and the admins are quick to respond to any problems I might have (despite the 8-hour time difference), basically personalizing the course for me. The French Language Accelerator Program is way better than any other language learning I’ve attempted. I’m very pleased—you will be too!
 

What a fantastic course - I'm so happy I found it! I've searched for years through books, CDs, and online courses, but abandoned each, as none of them really gave me confidence that I would progress in learning and speaking French. But I now have confidence, enthusiasm, and support in this terrific course: Talk In French!

Learning French is approached from every angle - you learn, you speak, you write, you read, you listen - everything you would do if you were immersed in France, and you can do it all at your own pace. Making the whole wonderful experience come together is the patient, kind, and encouraging support of the excellent staff - they're so nice!

This course is a great experience - and, I might add, a tremendous value - and I recommend it unreservedly to anyone who wants to learn French in a supportive, engaging environment. My French speaking, reading, and writing has improved so much, and I'm going to keep going!

If you are serious about learning French, this is it. I tried everything I can find to learn French for years. I learned a lot of words and grammar here and there. Two months ago I bought the series of books titled ‘Talk in French ‘, and found out they run a ‘French Language Accelerator’ program. I decided to give it a try. After the first learning session , I immediately felt this is the program I am looking for. The organization is well run, all of the staff are helpful and sincere. The program is tailored to the individual’s level and goals. I feel like I am in a formal language learning school, but conveniently learning at home. The cost is very reasonable . They encouraged me to do the homework. My teacher is very qualified to teach, my listening got better very quickly. At the beginning I chose to meet my teacher once a week for an hour, I enjoyed it so much that I decided to meet her twice a week to speed up my learning. I will stay with the program until I become a fluent French speaker. That day is fast approaching.

I like listening and reading in French first, as Hugo recommends. I listen or read a few times and only then may I consult an English translation. Hugo is right. Practice regularly is the key.
