I started the Spanish Language Accelerator Program after watching many of the My Daily Spanish videos on YouTube. The programme focuses on speaking Spanish, which is what I wanted, and I have a lesson with my coach every week where we discuss and review an assignment verbally and correct any errors. I can also raise any questions that I have from my own studies of Spanish grammar. What is also very helpful is that I have to write an essay every week, which is meticulously reviewed and corrected by the staff at the Spanish Language Accelerator Program, and this has really improved the grammatical accuracy of my spoken and written Spanish and helped to improve those problematic areas of grammar that seem to trip up English speakers.

Before joining the Spanish Language Accelerator Program, I knew some grammar and a lot of vocabulary, but I couldn't put it together in conversation. In a short period of time, the program has taken me from isolated words to actually speaking in full sentences. The structure makes the difference — everything builds toward using the language, not just studying it. My coach, Salma González, has been fantastic: patient, encouraging, and great at getting me talking. If you've been stuck at the "I know words but can't speak" stage, this program is exactly what gets you past it. Highly recommended.

I recently completed a 12-week Spanish course with SLA, and it was one of the most effective language-learning experiences I've had. Before starting, I had already studied Spanish for about a year through other classes, but I knew there were gaps in my knowledge that were holding me back. The team at SLA quickly identified those gaps and designed a personalized program that addressed my specific needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
One of the aspects I appreciated most was the flexibility of the course and the quality of the instruction. My instructor tailored lessons to focus on the areas where I needed the most improvement, while also adapting content to my interests. The weekly essay assignments were aligned with what I was learning in class.
Over the 12 weeks, I noticed a significant improvement in my spoken Spanish, particularly in my fluency and confidence during conversations. The personalized approach kept me challenged without feeling overwhelmed, and I always felt that the course was designed around my goals.
I look forward to enrolling in another 12-week course with SLA to continue building on the progress I've made.

I love this program! From the very first moment I began speaking with my instructor, I was learning. It was like a switch in my mind that had to be turned on and it was unlike any schooling I had ever had. This class makes me use my mind and not just learn a bunch of grammar.

After 3 years learning with Duolingo and one term of face to face evening classes, I felt that I needed some more focussed learning to get me actually speaking Spanish and saw My Daily Spanish through the YouTube videos that they post featuring Lucia. I took the plunge and opted for the 12 week Spanish Language Accelerator Program. I am so glad I did. I got a 12 week program set out right at the beginning based on my current knowledge and my objectives. My coach, Evelyn is brilliant. I meet her once a week and she takes time to explain the areas that I am struggling with. The program can be tweaked when I feel the need to spend more time on a particular area. I think what really makes this program stand alone is the wrap-around resources - Veronica who reviews the weekly essays and gives great feedback and points to improve, Lucia’s videos, the learning community where I can engage with others on the programme and Carlos who is the ‘go to’ person if I have any questions/comments. Every six weeks, there is an assessment so I can see my improvement. I’ve learned more in 12 weeks than I did in 3 years with Duolingo. I felt really uncomfortable at the beginning, especially with having to video myself speaking (but you’ve got to push yourself out of your comfort zone, right?) Now, I love it so much, I’ve signed up for another 12 weeks! I would definitely recommend this program.

If you are trying to learn Spanish, you quickly realize that the language spoken in Madrid is completely different from the Spanish spoken in Mexico City. Trying to learn vocabulary and listening skills when the accents, slang, and dialects keep shifting can be incredibly overwhelming and confusing.

That is exactly why My Daily Spanish stands out. They paired me with a coach from my target country is an absolute game-changer.
Instead of getting a confusing mix of regional dialects, I was able to focus entirely on the exact accent and local expressions of the region I care about most. It built my listening confidence so much faster and saved me from the frustration of mixing up regional vocabulary. If you want to learn practical, real-world Spanish that actually matches the place you plan to visit or communicate with, I cannot recommend them enough!

All aspects of this program are exceedingly helpful? Live interaction with an instructor weekly, online textbooks ,references to specific areas of Grammer and vocabulary, community discussions and question/answer sessions, personal communications for specific questions. A well set up website to all the above and more. The cost is acceptable for this level of learning.

I still have weaknesses as an advanced learner after many years of study up to and beyond university level and in the Language Accelerator Program, I found an incredible platform to address these gaps in my abilities (in particular spontaneous speech generation). I have also been matched with a truly marvellous coach, Rosa Hernández, who works her magic to diminish my weaknesses and enhance my strengths.

The Spanish Language Accelerator program has been fantastic. I have been using it for over a year (with the same coach). I love the one on one coaching and conversation practice every week. This helps them understand my strengths and where I need to spend more time studying. My confidence has grown tremendously. There are also midterms and finals to assess your progress. There is homework each week that allows you to practice reading, writing, and listening. The lessons give you a chance to read outloud and have a conversation. My coach has been patient and helpful. I would highly recommend it if you are considering a more structured learning environment that is also fun and stress free. The one on one attention is perfect for adult learners. Yes, you need to put in the work, but it is worth it when you see your progress.

Spanish Language Coach has been a great asset in my goal to achieve Spanish fluency.

I get personalized coaching, feedback, writing reviews and regular practice exercises. In the past I have tried many different on-line Spanish teaching tools and SLA stands above them all. The secret is in the personalized coaching. Once a week I meet face to face with my teacher and we go over that weeks lessons. I can move forward as fast as I want, I can slow down if I don't understand a lesson.

I have three favorite parts of the program. The first is the writing assignments and the feedback and editing that I get. This has been great for my overall learning. The second favorite is the practice I get in speaking and listening to my coach. The third is getting to know a person from another country. While my teacher is very professional and puts me first, she is also open to questions I ask her and I feel we are getting to know each other. All in all I feel she has respect for me and concerned for my learning needs.

Spanish Language Coach is so positive and affirming that I am thriving under its tutelage. It's definitely worth the price of admission.
