I have been using this lab for years and never had a problem with the quality or output, My latest order had several issues which I won't go into detail, however it was resolved by Joe (Thank You) who was sincere in reaching a resolution due to the few issues I had with a large development order. Normally I would have given a lower rating 2/3 but since they have been relatively good since they opened, and once my complaint was picked and dealt with, offered the utmost professionalism in dealing with the issues at hand, it is just a shame the issues came up in the first place. However I do think they take feedback on board, and I do feel they will be improving in the months to come.

If this is your first time using them, I would say give them ago, but just be wary of their busy times in the summer, as certain things can slide, but as I said before they will help reach a resolution if anything is raise. They are a small team which is understandable, but quality always has to output throughput when it comes to developing peoples memories.

After shooting film for close to 15 years, I would also pick waiting a little longer for my negatives to ensure the quality is the best it can be, rather than sacrificing quality for performance.

I always get my film developed by take it easy.
Everything from ordering to getting your negatives back is fun and they do a fantastic job.

I love how they include a little sticker with your film.

Still my go-to lab for film developing, despite moving from Leeds a few years ago. Their results are consistently astounding! They seem like a very friendly group. Highly recommend!

*Updates After reading the updated reply from Joe and the team. The team has been very on-point and transparent about why they had to close early on cerain days and I completely understand :) Overall, I'm satisfied with their services and can't recommend them enough!.

I've been a frequent customer at TIE lab and i have no problem with its service. But please be professional and consistent with your closing hours especially on Friday. I live in Leeds but I work 9-5 so it's hard to drop by in person during work hours and usually I can only stop at around 4h30-5h pm and 7 times out of 10. You guys would close prematurely for many different reasons, sometimes consecutively within a month. And you only update this via Instagram's story? If you can't keep up to date with the hours please modify it on Google Business and your website.

Recently had a bad experience with a local film lab for my first ever couple rolls of film. Did more research, found take it easy and the quality is a million times better. They were pretty quick too! Really pleasing website AND quite generous loyalty points! Thank you folks! Cant wait to send more film

These guys really are the best. Great turnaround times, fantastic quality. They keep in contact excellently, providing updates when asked for and have safely returned film rolls to me when I have wrongly sent them incompatible film types. Can't recommend enough. Would love to be able to use you guys for ECN-2 in the future, too!

Super easy and extremely quick service! I posted my film on Wednesday and by Friday afternoon I had my scans! As a first time customer I was very impressed and will be using Take It Easy for my future film development.

I use Take It Easy film lab in Leeds for all my colour developing ever since I moved to Leeds. Everything from handing my films over to receiving them back is impeccable. The constant vibe I get is that they are truly dedicated to looking after your film and it shows in the numbers of orders they receive daily! I have used their B&W partner service and digital printing platforms and these are equally as great. I have needed some help in the past with some of my images and they've been more than happy to advise either through social media or email.

All in all... the best film lab in every way!

Fantastic service every time, packaged and send off my films one morning, received digital scans the following afternoon, so fast, communication is great, prices are great and I love the points system….

One small thing though

I sent some black and white one time and I understand they send them off else where but the waiting time was much longer then what it said on their instagram….. besides that their service excellent highly recommended, won’t be using else where from now on!

Top quality and a great team. Fast and efficient communication when UPS messed up my delivery. Paid for 1 day turnaround and from the moment UPS delivered to the time I got the scans was only 1 hour and 20 minutes... insane. TIFF files are great and lots of latitude for editing. Provided good advice regarding my camera when one of the rolls didn't look right too. Will be using these guys for all from now on!
