We selected the cook, Adele Wankou, and she was absolutely amazing. She was the only chef who truly took our requirements into account from the very first proposal. Our friends had a wonderful experience with us and really enjoyed the food.
Communication on our side was sometimes difficult, and unfortunately we confirmed everything at the last minute. Despite that, she managed to make everything work and was incredibly understanding of our situation.

Chef Paula not only made a beautiful Spanish tapas meal complete with paella but was so warm and charming. She made a ton of food for eight of us. So much we had leftovers for lunch the next day. I would highly recommend her for your special night.

Booked Pat through takeachef to celebrate my mother-in-laws 70th birthday. He liaised with us before the meal to confirm choices and menu. We had x3 courses and he was able to cater for both veggie and non-veggies within our party. The food was excellent, good portion sizes too. He was efficient and cleaned up afterwards. Chef Céline was very kind and professional! She curated a special menu for my entire group of 16 and was very flexible with dietary restrictions and preferences. She gave us local dishes and explained/presented them beautifully. She was very communicative and the food was absolutely delicious!! She spoke both French and English with us. Couldn’t recommend her more.

Chef Luis Morillo Arcila provided us with two fabulous experiences. On our arrival to Costa Rica he and his wife provided a large variety of finger foods - multiple cheeses, deli meats, and arepas to mention just a few. They also prepared a sit down dinner on a different evening with soup, fish and dessert. Every single item was delicious and we had plenty of leftovers. We were all so happy with our choice!

Joanna was an incredible chef and her assistant Glen was attentive, super helpful, and made the night an absolute success. Joanna was quick to reply to messages when we were organizing the menu, she thoughtfully made our gluten-free guest their own dishes that honestly made some of the other guests jealous by how good the food looked. They arrived on time, were quick to set up and get started, tailored their service and timing to our guests and by the end of the night the kitchen was spotless and the trash was taken out. I could not recommend them enough!

Chef Layla was an amazing chef. I hired her for my daughter and son-in-laws joint birthdays. The experience was amazing, from the wonderful smells in the house to delicious food. Just a great interaction with the entire family.

Booking Chef Lucky for our combined bachelorette/bachelor party was the best decision we made! He prepared a four-course dinner for our group of 6 and every detail was well thought out. He came on time and was very prepared. Every dish was an absolute masterpiece and came out hot. We had Jameson BBQ braised pork rib strips, roasted butternut squash soup, filet mignon and vanilla crème brûlée. The ribs were fall off the bone and so tender. The soup was home made from scratch and very flavorful. The steak cut like butter and he made a unique potato puck to accompany it with a crispy outside and smooth inside. He nailed the crème brûlée and it was presented with a type of strawberry cut on top like a work of art. He completely elevated the celebration and allowed us to just relax, sip our drinks, and enjoy the night without worrying about cooking or cleaning. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an unforgettable private dining experience!

Mille Mercis au Chef Matthieu d’avoir répondu à nos attentes pour ce dîner d’anniversaire surprise autour de l’avocat , qui était délicieux depuis l’entrée jusqu’au dessert, qui nous a fait découvrir de belles saveurs très inspirées et de beaux moments.
C’est une réussite pour notre premier repas avec un chef à domicile .

Elana and her assistant Natalia were absolutely phenomenal! The food was amazing. They were punctual, fun and incredible talented chefs. We loved every moment of our meal. Such innovative dishes. We can't wait to have them again!

Chef Latipha was incredible! And the food was absolutely delicious! We used her for a Welcome Dinner while on vacation to Barbados. The kitchen in our AirBnB was limited, but she kept calm and made it work. We are absolutely hiring her again!
