Once we had booked our install. Electricians visited and highlighted some electric upgrades we needed to have done before the install.
Once sorted and certs and photos provided as evidence of works completed install happened within a week.
I was a little surprised in having to pay final amount upfront before install rather than x amount before and final amount on completion.
Install was seamless from roofers to electricians all was completed in a day.
Good explanation of system and how to get support if there was an issue.
Cabling was very neat both outside and in the attic.

Boiler fitted and moved to a better position in my kitchen to suit me and was accommodated with no problem. Top job done ,quick ,clean and neat work .

Donal from Swyft Energy called and convinced me to fit Solar Panels on our house.I was really impressed with the overall experience of the work carried out

Excellent service from first appointment until completion of the installation. Efficient and very pleasant staff.

We got solar panels, and inverter and 10kw batteries installed from SwyftEnergy about 2mths ago and I'm delighted with them. We had a few hiccups at the start with changes to times the installers were coming, a breaker wasn't big enough etc but was promptly dealt with and sorted.
I was thinking of getting solar panels roughly 15yrs ago and they were about double the cost of what they are now and I'm saving money already. Very professional company and easy to deal with.

Reliable and neat

I had solar panels installed by Swyft Energy, and while the experience didn’t start out perfectly, I’m so glad I stuck with it. There were a few hiccups in the beginning—mainly around scheduling and communication—but once I escalated the issues to the right people, everything turned around quickly.

My Sales Rep Chris was absolutely fantastic—super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and genuinely passionate about solar energy. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was fully informed and comfortable throughout the process.

Now that the system is up and running, I can honestly say I love my solar panels. They’re performing amazingly, and it feels great to see the difference they’re making already.

I would definitely recommend Swyft Energy, especially if you get the chance to work with Chris. Once the ball got rolling, the customer service was excellent, and the final result exceeded my expectations.

I am 500% happy with my experience with Swyft Energy. From day 1 they were so efficient to deal with. The day the accessor called out, Timmy was his name, and he surveyed the house and advised me what ‘my needs were’ he didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. I got the full package, battery included for the same price other companies were charging just for panels. Timmy really knew his stuff and I suppose being Norwegian he had a lot more expertise than others. The installation went so smoothly, you’d never know they were in the house. Niall the electrician, his colleague (sorry can’t remember name) were so knowledgeable and so far from a bi monthly bill of €160. My latest bill was €11.60 and even sent back €231.60 to the grid. My Ber rating has increased to a B2 which has reduced my mortgage, so at this rate it’s a great investment and will pay for itself in a very short time. The guys in the office were extremely helpful and supportive and the app on your phone is a game changer in terms of how to utilize your solar system and you see results live on the phone. The only regret I have about Swyft is: I should have reached out to them long ago! If your considering solar definitely contact Swyft and ask for Timmy

We dealt with the Cork office for our Solar panel installation. From the very first point of contact my husband and I were very satisfied. The attention to detail and professionalism was second to none. We are delighted with the energy saving,selling back to the grid and the battery is storing it all. I enjoy the app on my phone,telling us the usage and storage. Especially at this current fine weather we are having. My Mother has just had her solar panels installed on our recommendation with Swyft. The customer care and after care is fantastic. Nothing we ask is too much.

My electric bill use to 360 euro every two months and now 50 euro for two months! Wow!! Why didn't I do this sooner? I must say from start to finish swyft energy were outstanding in regards to customer service, value for money and the after care... They couldn't do enough for us! From the first day the sales rep knocking on the door who was very polite and professional. I am extremely happy and would highly recommend this company swyft Energy to everyone.

Contacted customer service regarding an issue with my solar panels.Was advised that a call out would be 1 to 2 weeks,which was acceptable.Got a call on the day of electricians visit to be informed it was cancelled and it would be another 2 weeks before he would arrive…now 4 weeks.At this stage I asked to speak to a supervisor as this in my opinion was unacceptable.. not available but would return my call within the hour.That was over a week ago and no contact on any level since then.
I would steer well clear of this shower.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end, really great and efficient install team with the job complete in around 8 hours. The installers were great at their job but also great at explaining how to get the most of your system. There is great tech support also available ar the end of the phone. I would recommend the Eddi hot water diverter as you have piping hot water everyday from your panels. I have used Swyft multiple times for 3 boilers and now my panels and each time I was impressed. I would highly recommend them, only issue I have Is they should have put a sign on my front fence as the amount of people asking about my panels as they walk past is huge.

Great experience and information from the start.

Karl was our sales rep and he was fantastic the whole way through. He was informative about the solar system with batteries and even followed up a few weeks after the installation to see if everything was working correctly and went well.

Roofers were extremely professional and lovely to deal with.

Shane the electrician was excellent even on the follow up calls and questions we had. Fantastic service I'd recommend to anyone.

Everyone we have dealt with in the call centre have been brilliant. Very patient and understanding and feels very much like a family.

We are using the solar and battery system in tandem with a heat pump and so far the results are great.

Swyft Engery are an excellent company to deal with from start to finish. From Patrick to the installers and after care, I highly recommend them if you want to go down the road of solar panels.

I am genuinely surprised to see so many positive reviews for Swyft Energy, as my experience was deeply disappointing from beginning to end.

The initial assessment with Des was excellent — he was professional and helpful. Swyft Energy also impressed me initially with a prompt quote and a discount offer if I proceeded quickly, which suited my urgent need for a new boiler. However, once I signed the contract, the communication became non-existent. Despite multiple calls, I was continually promised a callback from a representative named Jessica — a call which never came until I threatened to cancel after two and a half weeks of silence.

When installation was finally scheduled, the crew arrived at 8AM — but when my tenants asked for a brief 15-minute delay, they simply left without informing anyone. Despite assurances from Swyft Energy that I would be contacted to rearrange, no one called for over a week. To make matters worse, when I followed up, I was told I had incurred a €550 "missed appointment fee" — a fee that had never been mentioned before and that, frankly, was outrageous given the circumstances. It was only after submitting formal complaints and providing video evidence from a neighbor’s camera that Swyft Energy agreed to waive the fee.

The re-arranged installation date took place two months after my initial contract signing, and even then, the day before, I was informed it needed to be postponed again due to an emergency — no mention of a fee that time, notably.

When the boiler was finally installed, the experience was, sadly, no better. The installers were rude and dismissive when I asked questions. Worse still, the installation itself did not match what had been agreed upon: instead of running two pipes discreetly through a corner into a wall, they drilled holes unnecessarily and routed piping across my ceiling — without consulting me at any stage. When questioned about the poor workmanship, the response I received was both unprofessional and insulting. Now, I am left having to hire someone else to fix the mess.

Given the amount of money I paid, the quality of service and workmanship I received is utterly unacceptable.

In summary: Swyft Energy were quick to take my deposit, but completely absent when it came to communication, customer care, or professional standards. I strongly advise others to think very carefully before choosing them. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Swyft Energy to anyone.
