From our first contact we have had nothing but well organised service from Switch Energy. Kieran Gray our coordinator has kept us informed and so far we have had insulation done on our solid walls by Newholme Energy Limited who did a fantastic job of plastering our walls which resulted in a huge difference to the warmth of our house, even with no heating on and we have just had JCPB heating limited fit our air pump system, including new radiators and piping. Nothing was too much trouble and would like to thank Phil and Pete for an excellent job, even though our house threw up so many challenges. Also Richard and Jack who did our electrics and again went above and beyond our expectations in dealing with our quirky house. This team were fantastic and can’t thank them enough. Our old house has now been dragged into this century and feel so grateful that we had such a knowledgeable set of professionals making this transformation. Next stage is to have solar panels. Please do not hesitate in using Swith, they have delivered what they promised.

I like to thank everyone for there hard work and my great installations I have had installed in my home , firstly newholme for the installation my house is so much warmer , and helped with damp issues I had , also I like to thank Taggas for the super heating system they have fitted , all controlled by remote control it great , so walm and smart looking , many thanks too them , and sj installations for my super solar panels the electric bills were killing me , I think solar panels and heat saving system really going help me , and I like to thank pvf scaffolding for my super scaffolding the put up to do job on an awful road , there super efficient and polite , finally I like to thank Beatrice Clapham who coordinated all the works for me , she was super efficient and so polite on the phone , she an asset to switch energy, because of her great organisational skills the project ran so smoothly

I can not compliment the work carried out enough which was a very high standard.
All the workers were very polite, conscientious and hard working.

Each of the tradesmen did an astonishing job always rang me before starting always on time and did an excellent job of cleaning up after they had finished. I'd also like to thank callum who ran the whole operation and kept in touch with me most days thank you all so much michaela.

I can't recommend Beatrice Clapham highly enough for her help organising the work done on my home. Her follow-up phone calls were always friendly and professional.

The company JCPB who did the air source heat pump were brilliant they were hard working polite and took away rubbish etc. They came on the Saturday put back all the carpets and hung doors back. Then vacuumed everywhere. Would recommend these guys. The company SJ who put up solar panels were also excellent. Well done guys you have made my house much warmer and a pleasure to be in.

Anna Morrissroe at Energy switch network managed our work through the energy government scheme after I had applied via an advert on Facebook. In total we had a new central heating system installed with combi boiler, ventilation fitted, trickle vents on windows, internal wall insulation, loft insulation, cavity wall insulation as well as remedial work needed to ensure the work was installed correctly.
Anna organised appointments with the contractors they use with myself either over the phone or via text. She is incredibly organised, efficient and willing to ensure her clients are looked after properly. It feels like you're talking to a real person who understands, not just a cog in the machine trying to churn these schemes out. The only issue I had was based with the internal insulation contractor and not energy switch. Anna was very understanding of my concerns and made sure this was fixed as quickly as possible. All the other contractors that have attended my house have been polite, skillful and tidy. Excluding the initial assessment all the work was completed from Dec 2023-March 2024 and we are now completely done 😊 thank you for all your hard work Anna, you have been amazing, and we are so very grateful. I have already recommended you to others and will continue to do so.

this process was easy to understand. From the telephone calls/information from Beatrice who explained everything really well!
Jamie who came to overview everything was spot on at going through all our questions/concerns and was confident and reassuring which made the whole process run smoothly.
special mention to the men carrying out the solar panel work, they had a few issues to sort and was dealt with so promptly and professionally! they was a pleasure to have in the house carrying out this work. It’s never easy having such a big task done in your own home but they were genuinely lovely and had a good laugh which made the day/s pass quickly.

JCPB Heating Limited employees Luke and Ash have done an amazing job. Extremely professional and polite. They arrived when they said the would and there work ethic second to none. They definately deserve a 5 star and We wouldnt hesitate to recommend them. Thanks Luke and Ash

House was updated through government scheme, managed by Switch Energy Network with Beatrice Clapham as project manager. Couldn't recommend more highly. Frequent updates, polite and courteous, always willing to look for answers to specific questions and minor problems.

Internal wall insulation by Newholme. Team were quick, clean and gave solid advice about how to decorate walls after plastering.

Taggas installed air source heat pump, radiators; a whole brand new central heating system. Team was on-time, polite, clean and happy to explain how to use the new system. Office team helpful with advice post-installation.

Solar panels installed by SJ Insulations. Team wonderful again, explaining how panels work and setup with energy company.

Scaffolders were PVF Scaffolding. Polite, speedy and fantastic team dealing with excited dogs!

All in all, a fantastic service from fantastic companies!

Anna on the phone, who co-ordinated our work, was very well organised, clear in communication and helpful.

Very caring company lot of calls to make sure we are happy with the planning and installation of the Heating system. The Green Partnership really pulled out all the stops to make my move to a greener way of Heating my home and I would recommend them highly to everyone I meet .

The two electricians that came yesterday were brilliant, good workmanship and went above and beyond, also a big thank you to keiran our coordinator who is always there to answer our questions and sort out anything, once again thanks guy's

The most incompetent company i’ve ever dealt with. 9 months of incorrect surveys, hundreds of hours spent arguing with an incompetent project manager over scaffolding for solar panels & wether a permit was required for scaffolding on private land. Hundreds of documented emails & pretty pictures ‘explaining to the hard of understanding’ what the legislation on scaffolding was!
3 days before work commenced October 2023, the job was cancelled by the “Project Engineer” because of a basic failure to understand scaffolding law…

3 surveys! How can a design & installation company design an air source heat pump system that does not fit into the house?
Yes, the boiler & pump assembly did not physically fit! This key part that drives the pumped system would not fit into the bathroom, let alone the airing cupboard!

The 3 surveys omitted key information such as ‘There’s no floor void’, where are 2 runs of 35mm diameter pipes going to go?

February 12th-
The system arrived but the installation team could not physically install & were not prepared to agree to the Project coordinators suggestion to drill holes through exposed structural beams or fit heated supply & return pipes below the exposed beams at a head height of 1.7m through the middle of my house because of ‘Health & Safety’ concerns!

An alternative of ‘efficient’ storage heaters & solar panels was agreed 14th February, with installation for the 8th March,
Today, the 4th March, the installation is cancelled as my old inoperative diesel oil Raeburn oven has two radiators that never worked, but are now conveniently classed as a central heating system according to ‘Eco-4’ guidelines!

“Hi Jacqueline
I am terribly sorry however something has came to light and we're unable to do the electric storage upgrade at your property under the Eco4 scheme. This is due to you having more than 1 radiator in your property currently and your range cooker is classed as a central heating system, under the scheme we can't do an electric storage upgrade if the property has previously had a central heating system. Unfortunately this means we will not proceed with the install on Friday, the only option for your property would be to go down the Air Source Heat Pump route. Please let me know if you'd like to go down that route, in the meantime I will cancel does the works that were scheduled.”

The last paragraph is ‘Gold’.
The project coordinator offers the same air source heat pump system again. Yep, the system that was designed, based on 3 surveys that didn’t fit on February 12th due to ‘installation restrictions & health & safety concerns’, is offered again as an alternative to the storage heaters “Switch Energy Network Limited” proposed to fix the problems they caused.

Nearly a year down the line from 1st contact, me, my house & it’s criteria, ‘Tick all the boxes’ for the U.K.-Gov energy scheme, but ‘Switch Energy Network Limited’ are incapable of implementing. I’d advise researching to find a competent company.

From start to finish Switch Energy have handled our installation with great professionalism.
From the initial application to the final day and commissioning the heating and solar, communication has been key. The workforce have been really professional, the work was done efficiently and cleanly. All the workers were a joy to have in our home.

So, so pleased I went with this company. Callum, our coordinator was brilliant and always easy to get hold of and responsive. If there were any issues with the insulation, electrics, solar panels, plumbing or air source pump he was very helpful. He put my mind at rest and it was such a relief in all the upheaval to have one source of professional help. Customer service were also very responsive as well as amazing Callum

The team at switch was alway quick in responding to query very quickly. They kept me informed of all contracrers asighned to my job. Exelant customer service will be recommending this company to all.
