Dishonest Company - Claims to have shipped items when out of stock and blames Royal Mail. Have proof of this on multiple occasions.

Placed another order with Switch again. Received components the next day, all great quality and at a great price. Also the website is nice and responsive with a good search which is refreshing.

Superb! One of the best online electronics merchants. Reasonably priced and super reliable.

Very quick postage and cheap prices. Will happily use them for any electrical components i need.

Super helpful customer service - used live chat, the agent went to the warehouse and found my component to measure it precisely for me prior to purchase. I then placed an order for a lot of knobs and they arrived the next day and fitted a treat! And also they were approx half the price of buying them from thonk so happy days

I bought a car phone holder - it came with NO guide on how to put it together, the customer service is incompetent they could not provide any guidance on putting it together! Then when I put it together the sticker part was not sticky so the phone holder did not stick to the dashboard of the car - so the items they’re selling are faulty!!

Excellent selection of less usual switches - and my one was at a very good price. I ordered easily from the webpage, and despatch and receipt was very quick. The switch is good quality and works pefectly in my project.

So I paid 16.50£ for expedited shipping for 2 tiny transistors (2.60£ each, 15 grams) because I needed them by Saturday. I figured they would easily fit through my letterbox even if I wasn’t at home.
Instead these cretins sent them in a box that would have fitted 200 of these transistors!
Instead of an envelope!!!
So of course DPD went away with the box as I wasn’t at home at the time of delivery.
On Sunday I had to give them to a friend traveling to Kenya, now I have to pay an extra fee for DHL of 46£ to get them there!
What a disappointment, out of principle I shall never order anything from this company again, cretins!

I have used this company before and am so glad they are still operating. Wide selection of components and easy to navigate website. Prices are good and postage is always super fast. Would use them again.

Product arrived with a broken part, sent them a picture, next day replacement arrived.

Very impressed with the turn around and service from Switch Electronics. Ordered past 4pm on Friday evening and received at around 10am Saturday morning. That’s better than Amazon Prime!
Products were exactly as described and great value for money. Thoroughly recommend.

Very disappointed. Item received was totally different from the description on the website and they couldn't even bother to acknowledge my email let alone sort the problem out. As a result I am now £13 out of pocket.
From reading other reviews this might not be unusual.

Ordered some terminal posts & plastic box few days ago found service first class, VERY fast delivery & kept in loop with updates etc at each stage plus very reasonable prices many thanks!

Good website, good products and prices, but let down by their failure to technically support their products. Technical support was brilliant from their competitor Pi Hut, who I also bought products from, but non existent after two days waiting from this company. I will avoid them in the future where possible.

Switch Electronics could be a great resource for small electronic parts and components; they seem to have a huge stock list and are very quick to arrange delivery. You can buy one-offs from their eBay store, but they charge a premium. Ordering direct is cheaper but you need to spend a bit (currently £30) to benefit from free shipping.

Their big let down however is that they simply cannot correctly send you what you order first time. Orders almost always either have something missing, or something incorrect. They generally sort this out afterwards but it's such a pain.

I have been returning to the store for some time, but have now decided to use a competitor instead as they just cannot get it right. It's such a fundamental thing to get right so I can't give them more than 2 stars.

I would also be concerned about them supplying an incorrect value component (which they have done to me) and causing an injury to someone who did not double check this before installing.
