Beautiful bags and cashmere

I have ordered bags and also cashmere accessories from Strathberry. All have been amazing quality. I love their timeless style. All my orders have arrived promptly and beautifully packaged. I ordered some items as gifts for Christmas last year and everyone was really delighted with their presents. Some of my bags I have had for quite a few years now and the quality is still superb. Highly recommended.

Beautifully made bags that are well worth the money

I am obsessed with my beautiful Charlotte Drawstring in Oxblood. The leather is so soft, it is beautifully made and it holds everything I need. It also arrived within days of me ordering it as a gift to myself after a work promotion. I love it so much, I might get it in navy too!

I bought a mosaic bag in the color…

I bought a mosaic bag in the color taupe on the Strathberry site during a promotion at the end of 2025 (order number: 205748). I received the bag that is very well made and was beautifully packaged the week before Christmas. I requested immediately a return as the bag did not fit my frame as expected. My return was registered and I was to await further instructions via e mail. The instructions never came. I waited patiently. Finally I emailed Strathberry numerous times about my issue. Again with no reply. Now my return window has passed. I don’t understand the complete lack of communication on my matter. Even to be informed I can’t return the bag. I will never buy from this company again. I feel scammed. The bags are too expensive not to have the option to return them.

I received the tote bag and was unhappy…

I received the tote bag and was unhappy with the way the straps lay. Its not practical for daily use. Tried to get refund and they refused me. These things arent stated when buying product. They lack customer service and retaining customers.

Poor communication and long delay

I placed an order on December 1st (order #208104) for two bags: one was in stock and the second one was scheduled to ship at the end of December.
The in-stock item was not shipped until I contacted customer support weeks later. At that time I received a shipping notification that looked like both bags were dispatched, but only one arrived.
Customer support then told me the second bag would ship “in a few days”, but nothing happened for another three weeks. The second bag was finally shipped today, with zero follow-up, no explanation and no proactive communication.
Overall it took almost 2 months from order to completion, with unclear timelines and no proper updates.

arrived late

Unfortunately I can't give a positive review, my bag arrived late, too late for the person I was going to gift it to. The tracking from Strathberry and Fed X differed from day to day which was extremely frustrating, wouldn't buy from here again based on the delivery times and conflicting delivery dates, Quality of the bag was ok but not worth the price

Dissapointing customer service

The products are of very good quality, but the service is disappointing. My order took much longer than the estimated delivery time and arrived almost a month after purchase. I had to send several emails to customer service due to the significant delay, and their responses were very slow, often taking days and not particularly helpful.

Poor quality, poor delivery and overall disappointment

I am very sad to say I had a very bad experience with Strathberry, so much that I feel I need to share it here.

On December 28th I ordered a red bag from Strathberry. At the same time I also ordered a similar bag from DeMellier, as I was deciding between the two brands. The DeMellier bag arrived in two days via express shipping. The Strathberry bag, however, went on what felt like a world tour through the UAE, China, and who knows where else.

I contacted Strathberry several times. They did respond and tried to help, which is the only reason this is not a zero star review.

By January 14th, seventeen days later, I still had not received my bag and I had to open a formal claim with FedEx myself. The bag finally arrived today.

When I opened the box, which was very nice, I was honestly shocked. The bag looks extremely cheap. My own mother, who does not care about luxury at all, asked me why I had bought a faux leather bag.

The quality is simply awful. The cord is flimsy, the straps that should close the bag do not stay in place, and the heavy metal hardware on the sides makes the bag collapse. You cannot even tie it properly because the leather feels so weak that I am convinced it would tear. It looks and feels poorly made. I don't think the bag is faulty, I only think the bag is poorly designed and not worth the price in any shape or form.

I own many bags across different brands, from Louis Vuitton to Coach, DeMellier, Polene, and Mansur Gavriel. This is by far the worst quality bag I have ever received.

The final shock came when I tried to return it. Strathberry charges 53 euros to return the bag unless it is officially considered damaged. Fifty three euros just to send it back.

After what already happened with FedEx, I am not willing to risk another international shipment, pay 53 euros, and then most likely be told that this poor quality is “normal” and have my refund refused.

This has been a frustrating, expensive, and extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. I would not recommend Strathberry to anyone.
