I use Steambox each time I want to...
I use Steambox each time I want to defrost a meal. What a time-saver! It is actually so helpful that now, I order more meals when going to a restaurant, to have take-away. I ask the restaurant employees to put my meals directly into my three specific Steambox containers, to avoid one-use plastic ones. Back home, I put them in the freezer. When time has come to eat those delicious meals, hop! I just have to ask Steambox!
Far easier than a circular pan, when your frozen meals are rectangular and don't fit in anything...

Ik 'kende' de steam-box al van een media bericht.
Enige tijd later heb ik het ding besteld; de volgende dag geleverd. Kwaliteit product in kwaliteit verpakking.
Diverse etenswaren geprobeerd. Ging allemaal goed.
Recent plotseling actie waarbij het product is gebruikt. Uitstekend resultaat.
Minpuntje: de laadstekker moet nadrukkelijk in het apparaat gebracht worden (aanduwen).

I really like the box. Maybe if the following were added or adjusted it would make the product even better.:
Gets a little hotter for cooking, can charge and use same time, and charges over USB-C or a more standard cable.
Edit: thanks for taking the time to reply and for the information, very useful. Also wanted to add that I really like the iPhone App, hoping to see more features/notifications, and also a Apple Watch app so that I can quickly prepare and eat.

First of all, thanks a lot for the kind words and the great feedback! It's comments and reviews like yours that help us get better at what we do. Please find some of our thoughts on your feedback below:
1. For most meals a full 20-25 minute cycle should do the job for getting it (very) hot. Some tips we can give to get even better results are: 1. Decreasing portion size 2. Taking the meal out of the fridge earlier prior to steaming 3. Cutting up larger pieces of food into smallers chunks for faster and better steaming.
2. Charging and steaming simultaneously is a feature we left out on purpose due to safety reasons. Operating batteries, DC and water/steam at the same time should be handled carefully. This is why we work with a total steaming time per charge of ±40 minutes, so you’ll always be covered for a good meal or two before having to charge again. It is something we will be working on for new products though!
3. We fully agree that a USB-C port would suit Steambox very well. Like the previous comment, it's something we are working on and hoping to implement for our next product version(s).
Overall, we're very happy to hear that you really like your Steambox despite the minor shortcomings. Our thoughts might not be enough to improve the current rating / stars you gave us, but we hope it somewhat helps to get more out of your Steambox. It is very strong and compact
It is very strong and compact. Very easy to use. Having warm meals instead of cold meals is wunderfull. The simplicity is great. I am missing a timer in the app that can start the steambox automaticly on a certain time.

One 25 minute steam and battery is just…
One 25 minute steam and battery is just about drained. I’ve done a 20 minute steam on 100% battery and the next day it died mid way through food was not warm. It can not finish if plugged. The battery life is not as advertised. It does warm your food very well and quality is way better than microwaving your lunch. Remember to charge after each use as I do and you’ll love it.

As for your experience with the battery life, it might be helpful to know that many factors influence the total steaming time / meals per charge. Portion size, meal temperature and ambient temperature are factors that influence this, just to name a few. This is why we communicate the approximate ±45 minutes per charge and 2-3 meals (2 medium sized or 3 small meals per charge). Batteries are tough to measure and estimate (e.g. electric cars often have the same issue with the advertised driving range per charge). We are working on the charging-steaming (at the same time feature) though, which we agree can be a little annoying sometimes.
Overall, we're happy to hear that you love your Steambox even though it requires a little more planning. This might not be enough to change the rating / stars you gave us, but we hope this helps to clarify some things.
