I'm the CEO and Co-Founder of FolksPat Media Group, Inc. My background is in music for films and video games. I don't have a business degree, I've never been good at slide presentations, and I've never understood spreadsheets.

After listening to Startup Therapy, recommended by another founder friend of mine, my co-founder and I decided to research startups.com.

Until joining startups.com, we were having the hardest time putting our product not only into words, but into a cohesive deck that clearly explains what we are building. We've read books, reached out to founders, talked to advisors, and more. But it wasn't until we began our journey here that everything "clicked" together for us. Class schedules were always up-to-date, and alerts for upcoming classes were highlighted. Instructors were well-versed in their subjects and very receptive to comments and questions. Listings of addition sources of information was excellent! Listings of funding sources was good and rapidly evolving to "better." Pricing is very reasonable.

Startups.com is amazing! Let me start off by saying that I don't often leave reviews for services, but I have truly enjoyed and benefitted from being a member of this community!

Everyone from Wil (the CEO) to Ed Kang(one of the mentors) to all of the staff/mentors are so kind, thoughtful, and focused on how they can best help and guide YOU. My favorite part is access to the FoundersGroups where you can network with other founders in similar stages of your entrepreneurial journey and share/learn from one another too.

I have been able to meet great founders, great mentors, and have learned a lot about how I want to do business. It is like anything else, you get what you put into it, so you have to want to meet and discuss things. It's very organized and great for both learning and just overall planning.

The platform has cracked the code on what it takes to launch a product and raise money from the VC community. Their suite of tools helped revamp my slide deck, my investor approach, as well as provide key insights into the do's and dont's of a world completely foreign to me.

I've gotten a lot of value, especially from my advisor Ed Kang. Ed and other founders have introduced me to people who have been very helpful to have in my network.

There's a lot of information available through the online portal and Slack group. It is just a little confusing between the legacy website and new website while they are making a transition. Other than that, I'm really enjoying the membership.

John really helped me through the setup process, with very friendly service. :) He gave me suggestions and continued to assist me as I worked through the presentation and rewards. The platform is very user friendly and easy to use. I highly recommend Fundable, thank you John! :)

I have used BizPlan.com to create a business plan for a non-profit I want to start. It is easy to use and walks you through the process of creating a professional business plan.

I like the way that it puts the plan together.

It keeps people like me on task as I work through the process. I like the specialized focus - for a non-profit for instance. I have no experience in creating a non-profit business plan and your system appears to give me the framework I need.

What made my experience great was that Joyce was soo helpful towards assisting me with my profile. She was well informed about the platform and provide me with information I needed as a new user. In short words the company is doing a great job by enrolling such customer service associate who really see it through that the user get all the resources and information they need.

Joyce was great. She helped me get things launched and made sure I had everything complete. She did a great job helping me.she was very thorough articulate and help me make sure I was ready to campaign. I truly appreciate her very much. I am slow in answering this post because I went in for major surgery unexpectedly for crohnes. But I wanted to make sure it was known she did a fantastic job for me. And the help she gave me. And I feel bad I didn't see this message sooner.
