Best choice to use SNF

Best choice to use SNF. They are courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I am on track to finally getting debt free. No phone calls from debtors because SNF have a legal team available to assist you which makes me stress free.

Don't go with them. They will scam you

I consolidated my debt with them and half the time i got no communication and had to jump through hoops. Now almost 2 years later I am getting a debt collection letter stating that I owe on a card they were supposed to take care of. When I called them they said they contacted me which they didn't and that they had to drop the account. Now i am stuck with a debt that they were supposed to yake care of but never did. Don't waste your time or money on their over exaggerated fees for their service and just talk to someone more skilled to handle this. They will take half youronthly payment for all their *fees* instead of paying off your accounts.

Start New Financial, Answer your phone. July 2023 was sign up. As of May 2025. Other then monthly fees to the company. Global Holding, Start new financial monthly fees. Evergreen monthly fees. Settlement fees. Not Settlement fees to my debt accounts. But Settlement fees to Start New financial. It's all a scam. I tried to call. Several times to just understand. What of my debts are paid. What debts are not paid. This is Several complaints I have tried to get anyone to clear up my accounts. I will pay what you did not pay. I will pay my debts. But who do I still owe. Which are finally settled. Which accounts are not. 3 accounts are some payments made. 2 accounts have gone to court ordered that stated no contact. Suppose to be settled 35% less.But after 2 years. The accounts said no Settlement. 100% is what you owe and have to pay. Clear these matters up and I will keep trying to get understanding on my part. It's confusing.

Do NOT get involved with this company! The total they tell you that you will pay is an ESTIMATE. I was to be done in 36 months with my set payment. I get a notice that NONE of my cards had been paid and I would need to pay for another 18 months (estimated) to possibly get the others paid. I called Chase, THEY DONT WORK WITH CONSOLIDATORS!
SCAMMERS! Call the credit cards directly. All of them will work with you at 0 interest from balance.

When I tried to call the debt company who signed me up for Start New Finance. the phone was disconnected. but with Start New Finance. Since 2023, Let just jump into an example, Ally account balance at settlement $2490.25 but with Start New Financial $1120.00 is amount settled. May 2024 this is May 2025, says status Ally is settled. But when I called Start New Finance to just find out which are really settled and which says status settled. I am told it may say settled but its settled and ongoing. June of 2027 before we settle with ALLY. Really think about this. I have a 3 year contract with Start New Finance. I said this and start new says well after the 3 years if we dont have these paid, the unpaid accounts will go back to your responsibility.

Hello Tina - Thank you for this feedback. It seems we have a miscommunication for which we take responsibility. The good news is that we don't see any reason why your program couldn't be done within the projected three year term indicated within your enrollment agreement. Yes, your Ally settlement is currently scheduled to go to June 2027 but should you continue your program draft schedule as designated, you would have sufficient funds to pay off the settlement much earlier. Sometimes we structure settlements in this manner simply to offer flexibility with how your funds may be utilized. We hope this makes sense. Great Start to Financial Stability and Peace

The care for toward me, as a client of the program has be exceptional. I have a peace of mind. I don't feel such a heavy financial weight has I did before getting into this program. I began this journey with over 10 creditors and within a year's time with the help of this program over half of the debt has been settled. The payments into the program is affordable and easy to make and maintain. Thank you for your help and care in my road to financial freedom and stability.

Mixed Up My Account With Another…

Mixed Up My Account With Another Customers - Now I am in COLLECTIONS - I started with Start New Financial in March of 2023 and sent them my accounts. Two of my accounts were with Barclay 254 and 073...now lets fast forward to 2024 and 2025. I was sent to collections regarding one of my Barclay accounts 254 and Start New Financial kept telling me they did not have that account on my file and they couldn't help me, but yet I have proof letters of them asking for Power of Attorney and also settlement offers. When I sent this information to them they replied they had Barclay accounts 084 (settled) and 219 (pending) - THESE ARE NOT MY ACCOUNTS! I would like a manager of this company to reach to me directly before I contact an attorney!

IJoined this Concerned and fisapountedcompany in june

IJoined this company in june. I was told my Arron the person that signed me up that I would see settlement as soon as September. Arron even gave me his personal phone number to call if i was concerned. I have heard nothing!!! I am sick very sick. I called early in the month of September asking to change the date of my auto drat from the 31 to the 30tg. I talk to a person and changed the date. I did not trust the recording to do it. she sssured me that it would come out on the 30th of September instead of the 21. Well it came out on the 21 and i was charged a 32.00 dollar overdraft fee that was not my fault. Your compNy would not consider paying me my overdraft fee when it was not my fault. I think I better get out of this program. I owed very little but now I have got my see in a mess. I don’t trust a company who does not take care of their mistakes. I can not afford this. My family has a laser in it and he said they should have made it right. I did not owe much at zll

Peace of Mind

Start New has helped give me a peace of mind has removed a lot of stress off of my shoulders since I've started working with them. I have had MANY companies tell me they could help me but I ended up paying a lot of money for NOTHING with them! After Covid I had gotten myself into…

After Covid I had gotten myself into TOO MUCH debt! I'm a single father with 3 growing kids and I had to keep putting food on the table even though I was in and out of work due to my business being affected by the shut downs. SNF has really stepped it up, and my credit is getting better and I have more money for living every month! Thank you SNF!

Lack of Communication and unable to work with you

I started working with them through a rough patch that I was in (hardship) and they pretended to care to help me. They tried settling my 3 accounts but never got through the third one. I was offered a deal that as long as I made 6 months straight of the payments, without any missed payments or mishaps, I would be able to talk to their "BANK" and use a consolidation loan to consolidate all my payments and only end up paying 1 bill instead of 3 different accounts. I reached 8 months of straight payments, and I called their "bank" and they told me that I couldn't get approved for it because my credit score was too low. They never said that I needed my score to be high to get the loan even though it is StartNews fault that my credit was low. My credit was at a 700+ when I started and it went down below 500. Why do you offer that option to people and make it seem like as long as they follow the 6-month rules you qualify for it but then when you do reach it, you get told that the reason why you don't qualify for it is that your score is too low when getting in the program was supposed to help you with this and not make it worse and use the consequences of using the program against you. When I called Startnew all I was told "Sorry there is nothing we can do. You will have to continue making the payments and try again in 3-6 months". On top of that, they also don't work with you in terms of missing a payment. Even after I kept going with them and missed my first payment and made an extra one to make it up, that one payment was holding up one of the banks from getting paid, so they dropped the settlement and didn't tell me anything about it. No letters, phone calls, or mail about that settlement being dropped, and kept charging me for the full amount to pay the other account quicker. In my opinion, they should have at least reached out and told me what was going on before deciding themselves, when it is my account and my money. Later I changed jobs so I wasn't able to have the money for two payments (one month) but I was about to pay the missing payments through a direct installment and they kicked me out of the program. No warnings, No contact. I reached out to see what I could do, and they told me that my accounts had been dropped, and I needed to contact the banks to resettle the accounts through them. Lack of professionalism, and lack of communication BIG TIME on their part. After they leave your home, they don't contact you for anything else. You have to figure out everything by yourself. Unacceptable.

This cadence (roughly once per month) falls within what we would normally consider acceptable support/professionalism, but as stated earlier, what is important is that YOU find the level of service acceptable. We sincerely apologize that your program did not achieve the level success that most of our clients experience. I wouldn’t recommend this company

I wouldn’t recommend this company. My experience didn’t go too well with them. They dropped the ball more than once and left me with a 18K debt with a credit union that was named on the account from the start. Like many reviewers mention, their strategy is for you to stop paying your bills, ruin your credit, and put you in collections. This makes it easier for them to settle with your debtors. However, in my case, I moved once during the process. Then they dragged their feet with one of my debtors and that debtor took me to court and I never received the court notice/date and so I lost the case. I was court ordered to pay the full amount. No discount settlement on this debt. All SNF had to say was oops too late after they dragged their feet too long on that debt. I ordered them to pay off that debt to the court-ordered amount right away before things got any worse. Finally, I received a notice from Global Holdings, their bank associate company, that they were done and closing my account. SNF never informed me they were done with my account. I logged on and went through everything and saw that SNF left me with a 18K debt still in collection by my credit union. I called SNF and they claimed that the CU wouldn’t settle. I called my credit union and had a very friendly voice on the phone and they accepted a offer of half (.50 on the dollar) as a settlement to clear my debt which I am doing on my own. When I asked the CU if SNF ever called to settle. They looked through my records and saw that I had provided the number to SNF, and they logged several attempts to contact SNF and settle, but they never received a call back. If you use these people stay on top of what’s going on because they can drop the ball on you and things can get worse. And by all means, if by any chance you have the resources to negotiate and settle on your own with the creditors, do so, and don’t use these people.

Be careful

They promised me debt relief on all of my credit cards. Numerous phone calls to me with their skit on how they will solve ALL my credit card debts. Almost 2 years in they DID help me with half of my settlements. The others it seems I have to figure on my own although they took on all my cards. Be careful with this company.

I received a letter in my mailbox…

I received a letter in my mailbox concerning this program then I took time to called luckily Jay had just returned from his break, he answered my call and I told him that I was responding to a letter that I received in my mail box. Jay was so nice to me .He took his time to explained how the program work and its benefit to me. I was very skeptical at first but after he explained everything about how the program works I was motivated to go through the process. He explained everything including the lawyer fee which he said, if it is not needed anymore I should call them and they will remove it. However, I am very pleased with the program. He told me how long it will take to have all my accounts resolved . I am very greatful that I grabbed this opportunity to be free from debt 🙏 Mr. JAY in Start New Financial was a God sent to me on that day because I was praying so that I can get a program that will help me fix my credits and he did just that. Right away they are already working on my behalf and I believe this will resolved soon.

Do not sign up with this company...PLEASE, they are shady as HELL. MY very last payment was "apparently" lost in the mail to my creditor, and therefore this creditor, per SNF has now reneged on the original settlement, and if I wanted to continue with SNF, they will attempt to renegotiate with such creditor on my behalf for an additional $3,125, BUT if I go directly to such creditor, I will owe them $6033...LIES LIES LIES...I called the creditor MYSELF, who stated that MY balance was only $241, and SNF pulled back MY very last payment from them, that "so called" check that was lost in the mail. NASTY DIRTY DAWGSSSSS!!!!

The check to the creditor was sent via FedEx (with tracking number) and we have proof the check was delivered to the creditor at the correct address, before the due date. We are only relaying information to you that was provided to us directly by the creditor. Please understand we have no reason or motivation to relay to you anything other than the exact information that the creditor relays to our team. It is unknown why the creditor would provide different information to you than to our team. Regardless, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and hope you understand that we have operated in an upstanding and transparent fashion.
