So here is my first review

Spoke with a gentleman on the phone for help and advice on a vintage engine. He politely handed me over to a young lady that was an absolute dream to deal with and had an encyclopaedic brain. She advised what I need and help me get set up to service my engine.
The lads in the office were fun and friendly offering some friendly chat and advice.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough 10/5. Never once made me feel silly for my lack of knowledge and made me feel that they would be there to help if need.

Keep doing what you do ssi - a real gold standard find on my boating start

Purchased an outboard motor via their website in the belief that due to the order value, delivery would be included. I then got a phone call from someone explaining that the free delivery did not apply to outboards. I accepted that but didn’t have my wallet with me to make the additional payment and was told someone would call me to take my card details. This didn’t happen despite me emailing to remind them. I also tried to call several times but there was no reply and their answering machine strangely does not take messages. Out of the blue this morning, SSI have without any explanation whatsoever cancelled my order. This is a shocking disregard for a customer that paid up front for an expensive item and I have still to receive a refund. Bottom line is that this company is not to be trusted and I’d strongly recommend that you buy your marine items from a more reputable supplier.

I placed my order at 12 midday 13 aug I received it the next day at 10 am , that is an exceptional service . the part I ordered was a very good price and quality .

Have purchased propellers water pump impellers for different models the past few years and well pleased with quality price and delivery will be buying more in the near future

I bought the wrong service kit for my outboard.
Totally my fault. I didn’t realise my mistake as I didn’t try to fit it until 2 months after I bought it. SSI marine couldn’t have been more helpful. They let me return it for a full refund and keep the oils that were the same in both kits and would have been expensive to post back. Sent me a new kit by by fast post
Absolute 5* service and excellent prices. I know where I’ll be buying my outboard spares in the future.

Was looking for new steering gear for my old Tornado RIB and after much trawling through the web, came across SSI Marine, excellent price for a replacement and all in stock so ordered. Anticipated a long wait, but order appeared at my door 24 hours later. A wee issue with a part missing, so contacted SSI and missing part was with me the following day. Brilliant service, clear communication and really helpful telephone advice to ensure I was buying the correct kit for my boat.
Excellent all round experience.
