DO NOT USE
Awful company! Took over from Crown and never signed a contract! I have given notice by email and they completely ignored it. We pay this company a monthly fee and then got a £260 call out charge! We will be taking this legal and warn everyone not to use this company! They just use a smoke and mirror approach with all their emails!

Booking the visit was very simple
Booking the visit was very simple. Week before appointment an email and text to confirm and morning of visit engineer texted to say he was on his way.
Really friendly, efficient and was over and done with in a very short time. Would highly recommend Spy Alarms.

Maintained contract
Maintained contract. Engineer came to service the fire alarm still waiting on the report. Suggested a new fire panel brought one. Rang and emailed to arrange an engineer . The phone rings rings and rings when answered I am passed to another department they are busy and will ring back, still waiting. Email one response but she has left the company. Several emails now about a fault that has just developed on the system no response.

Stunningly poor customer service. Not just once, but repeatedly, in all sorts of aspects. God forbid your alarm triggers during the night and you need help... Was fine when I was with DCS.

Service of intruder alarm by Spyalarms
My intruder alarm has been serviced by Spyalarms over many years and I have been completely satisfied with the service provided. In particular I recently received very prompt attention when a battery fault alarm occurred because the voltage had decreased below the normal acceptable value before the expiry period of two years.

Tried calling this morning to check on a service call time and 3 times the call was picked up and then disconnected by the "friendly customer service" operator. Got through on a general number to complain but just told the service dept was busy!! No, just don't want to answer calls this morning.

Good communication prior to visit with reminders and change options available if circumstances changed since appointment made. Engineer arrived as second visit in the time window, so didn't have to wait around. Engineer is our "regular" engineer so quick and thorough visit. E-paperwork received within minutes of visit.

A professional service.
A professional service provided by competent polite experienced engineers and we are pleased to recommend. Only one negative and that is the cost of replacing the panel battery, £50 for a £15 product which takes 10 minutes to replace while the engineer is already on site. Otherwise everything else 5 star.

I had planned to leave Spy and switch, it was the quality of the customer service that made me stay with Spy
I had planned to leave Spy and switch to ADT - however, when I explained my concerns to Becky de Beer and her colleagues, they went out of their way to address the issues and provide a longer term solution. All in all I cannot fault their response, the engineer who attended, Ian, completed a full service and we have not had any repeat of the faults that were the source of our frustration.
