Never rent, scammers

I would strongly advise to never rent with this company. They randomly take money from your account without warning or sending invoices & receipts. I have rented from them in a month after I realised what they were doing and I blocked my card still they managed to take over 3k from my account.

They stole from me. Plain and simple. Took my card details and helped themselves. No inspection. No signature. Just theft. This company is a scam operation. Stay far away.

This has to be the worst car rental agency I’ve ever dealt with. They seem to operate on a simple business model: agree on one amount, then deduct whatever they feel like later.

They deducted more money than what was agreed, and when it came to fine disputes, suddenly everyone went missing. Refund? Forget it. Accountability? Non-existent.

They happily took an advance, but returning it fully was apparently too much effort. I had to follow up multiple times just to get a partial refund and even then, not the full amount. Chasing them felt like a full-time job.

Communication is another joke. No proper responses, no clarity, no professionalism. Once they have your money, customer service magically disappears.

If you enjoy stress, endless follow-ups, unexplained deductions, and being ignored go ahead and rent from them.
Otherwise, save your money, your time, and your sanity. Avoid this agency at all costs.

Am not targeting these guys better they can start pickpocketing,when I went to their office to return the car it was closed (8.15pm).I confirm return on the same day when I got a w message
I message them also in the same time no one responded ,so I don't have any other options ,next day they resfuse that they close on 8.30 and they charged for one day extra .and I saw a foreign lady returning the car these guys teasing her in our Hindi language and they charges her 1000 aed for a small scratch,she was telling them she have garage contact she will do it her self but they didnt entrain her ,am Soo Soo fed up

Scum of the earth. Avoid at all costs, fortunate they are in Dubai otherwise there office space would be no more.

I if there is 0 or something under 0 I will give the worst customer service I saw in my life I share documents I spoke with the guy everything OK after he is not answering my messages when I call him he said we are not renting for people they license for heavy vehicles instead of telling me this and keep me waisting my time and waiting for him he chose just to ignore my messages poor poor poor

They charge your card without notifying you at all. Once you ask about the charge, non of the customer service respond and they treat you like enemy (if they even respond), management care about the company as they know they have the upper hand with a copy of the credit card and the most important thing that if something happens and the customer wants to return the car, they wont refund, they take your money in the essence of credit note even if you are leaving the country forever. Disappointing Experience with Speedy Drive Rental

I'm extremely disappointed with the service provided by Speedy Drive Rental. I booked a car for 2 days, and while the delivery was smooth on Friday at 10 pm, the return process was a nightmare.

On Sunday, I went to drop off the vehicle as per our agreement, but to my surprise, nobody was available to receive the car despite their representative being present. The office door was closed, and they refused to take the car, asking me to come back on Monday morning.

When I visited their office on Monday morning at 8:30 am (their supposed opening time), I found the office closed. I waited until 8:45 am, but no one showed up. Since I was running late, I had to leave with the car keys.

What's even more frustrating is that they refused to inspect the car over the phone, citing that it was parked in front of their office. This lack of accountability and unprofessional behavior has left a sour taste in my mouth.

It feels like a well-planned scam, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before renting from Speedy Drive Rental. Until they revamp their customer service and operations, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Guys be careful it is the worst experience I have ever had bunch of thieves , they charged me 550 dirhams for salik only for two weeks. I didn’t even go through salik every day they deducted from my credit card without my consent ,they blocked the car in the hotel when I refuse to pay the fines and ask for receipt and I paid so much money to get the car out of the hotel cause it stayed for 10 days there it was traumatizing experience for me stay away from them !!

This has been the most frustrating and dishonest experience I’ve ever had with any company. Tourists and residents — please stay away!

Let me break down everything that went wrong:

We had to change 3 cars in less than a month because every car they gave us had serious problems. It was a nightmare.
They tried to charge us for traffic fines that happened before we even rented the car! Yes — actual fines dated before our rental even started.
We contacted them several times to understand what these fines were about. They kept dodging the question, transferring us, and one of their finance guys even hung up on us. No explanation. No help. No professionalism.
Then suddenly, three days later, they say “oh yeah we’ll deduct those fines.” So they knew they were wrong — but they still tried to charge us anyway!
And it doesn’t end there:

On their website and over the phone, they told us delivery and pickup were free. But now? They want to charge us 150 AED for pickup!
When we asked why they didn’t tell us earlier, their actual answer was: “You didn’t ask.”
What kind of business is this?? No transparency, no honesty — just hidden charges and excuses.
We even asked them to come and take the car back, and — surprise, surprise — no one is answering us anymore. But they still want to add extra hidden fees and keep pushing charges we never agreed to.

The customer service? RUDE.
The billing department? Even worse — aggressive and disrespectful.
Absolutely no accountability from anyone in the company.

I deeply regret not reading the reviews before renting from them. Had I known how many people went through the same mess, I would’ve stayed far away.

To anyone reading this: avoid Speedy Drive at all costs.
They are dishonest, misleading, and completely unprofessional.
They will ruin your trip, steal your money, and treat you like a burden.
There is no integrity, no clear communication, and no respect.

In the beginning everything looks very customer friendly but then the scam begins.
They will bring you the car for free. They dont tell you that pick up afterwards will cost 150 aed extra. They advertise with duration "per month" but in reality it is 30 days. So if you have a 31 day month they will charge you for the extra day.
All in all service is getting worse after you have made the contract and they have plenty of whatsapp contact and will always send you to a different one just not to help you.
You might get back your deposit but after 30 working days earliest and only if you contact them again multiple times

Run away from this company. They are scammers.
I rent a Nissan Sunny and I ask them for not to pay a deposit, they said but the rent will be higher but I agreed since I’m going back home for good, after that they come back and insisted on deposit so I agreed.
I returned the car on January, 25th 2025 and till now I didn’t get my money back, it’s March 5th, 2025
I’m dealing with Ishan from the billing team and he is the worst. He is not responding to my text messages and being disrespectful and unprofessional.

Really bad company, they charged 10K AED because of an accident but we had full insurance. We had all proof of what the employer told us, that we dont need to pay. They took all money fro us without telling us anything.

Speedy Drive company is engaging in fraudulent practices. They provided me with two different cars—one broke down, and the replacement also failed while I was driving on a main road, nearly causing an accident due to its poor quality. Without any authorization, they deducted AED 75,000 from my card, claiming it was for traffic fines, but they never paid the government. Instead, they have now opened a case against me, demanding more money for amounts they have already taken. At no point during my rental period was I informed of any fines. This company is dangerous, exploiting people financially, and should be shut down by the authorities for their unethical business practices.

I asked them to deliver a car and pick up after 2 days. The agent said the rental cost is AED 75 + vat for a day + 50AED for drop + 50Aed for pick up.
I extended the duration of my rental for 5 days more.
3 things happened;
1) They charged my card without my approval.
2) When I contacted them(Billing Department) they said that the person from Sales is not working today so we cannot help you.
3) Later they are asking to pay additional AED 150 for car pick up.

This is ridiculous. I messaged them several times but no response on my queries.
I will be reporting this car rental company.
