Buying a camper van is really expensive financially and emotionally, hence the reason I visited 5 converters and still couldn’t’ t find the van I wanted. . I saw Spartan Campers on Facebook and the two tone paint job and the interiors ( with lots of storage) looked great.

I called Late November and had a no pressure/sell conversation about what I wanted and whether it could be done for the cost.

I arranged to visit Joe and Mark at the workshops in Coventry early December and was shown lots of vans - so I could choose the combination of colours, finishes and accessories- again no sell or pressure. Mark even called me 15 minutes before arriving to see how I was doing and to ask how I liked my coffee- A NICE TOUCH.

During the build I was sent update pictures on progress. Mark accommodated a few speed wobbles, questions and changes during the build. There was great communication throughout this time which was really reassuring. I was given great info on good places to get insurance, accessories etc

I picked up my van on the 18th January and it looks great. I was picked up at the train station and then we spent 1.5 hours going over the van, explaining how everything worked and offering useful tips on best practice etc. I drove the van back to Devon and everything is perfect.

I would recommend the team at Spartan Campers.

I have travelled all over the UK in the last 10 years dreaming of getting my own Camper Van and I recently decided to take the plunge...life's too short to be dithering about. I chose Spartan Campers due to the quality, design and final touches. The team are all very honest and professional and will always be on the other end of a phone if you need advise or any help. We picked up our campervan today 21.1.24 and we can't wait to get out and about. The whole process from initial contact with Spartan to picking up the van has taken approx 10 weeks with Christmas in the middle. Great communication throughout the build with regular photos each step of the way. Joe, Mark and Frazer have been excellent in their customer service and knowledge of campers is excellent. We got our van on 15 December 2023. We dealt mostly with Mark who was fantastic as were the rest of the team. They were so passionate and proud of their vans and and rightly so. We did a lot of research and honestly spartan vans could not be beaten. We were updated on a regular basis with photos and phone calls. We never felt at any point that we were being talked into buying our van. They were fantastic. We have a fabulous van They are so passionate and proud of their vans and this certainly come out with the finished product. I could not recommend spartan campervans enough thank you so so much mark Joe and the whole team!!!!!

After a lot of research we chose Spartan for our camper build.
After a visit to the showroom and a tour of the workshop, we were sold.
Within a week a van had been sourced and then it was on to the excitement of choosing interior and exterior colours, the wheels etc.
Mark guided us through the process and has kept us updated along the way with regular progress pics.
We now have our amazing van and can’t wait to go exploring!

This really was a fun experience from first viewing Spartans range of vehicles, to talking through what would be best for us, watching Spartan carefully construct our dream van, to finally picking up the keys! The staff are so proud of their work you really feel lucky to have been the recipient of one of their vans. So happy with our purchase and would recommend Spartan Campers to any first time Campervan buyers as they are never too far away for help and support.

The staff are very friendly, informative and helpful. Felt very comfortable and due to their own experiences of campers they clearly know what is needed in a van. Would highly recommend them.

Just picked up our T6 SWB Olive and couldn't be happier with the finish, things were exactly as ordered and when we first came to see Mark and discuss our options he was incredibly helpful, meaning we got exactly what we wanted and within our budget. Picked up on time and can't wait to have our first trip away in her. We would definitely recommend Spartan for the customer experience from start to finish, especially with the 12 month warranty on everything.

After much searching we finally alighted on Spartan Campers for our major purchase and picked up our van, yet to be named, on November 4. A great experience. All people we dealt with were welcoming, knowledgeable and very patient with our endless questions. Our van is kitted out with quality equipment to a very high standard, a great internal design and the colour of the upholstery, for our Captains' seats is perfect. A lithium cell as standard is perfect and the way to go. I would highly recommend Spartan, a great Company to buy from. Looking forward to some serious adventures.

Got our dream campervan from Spartan Campers. Excellent service throughout (but would have liked a photo or 2 through the process).
Mark was fab throughout and was always interested in our views.
A little hiccup on the way home having just picked it up to find the cab heater not working. Had to to put it in a garage, and warranty were brilliant in the reimbursement.
Tried our van (Miss Molly) and already looking forward for our next adventure.

What an experience!! And that's exactly what it was, an experience.
We walked into Spartan Campers, our van, now named Bessi was sitting awaiting our arrival, as was Mark. We didn't feel like strangers with Mark, the welcome was warm and friendly, like a mate you've not seen for years and just picked up from where you left off.  With that being said, Mark was highly professional throughout. After a cracking cup of coffee, we went out to have a look at our van. Mark spoke so passionately about their conversion. This is when we met Joe, the founder of Spartan Campers. His passion and excitement for what they do showne through as soon as we shook his hand. We were then given a tour of the workshop, shown the creation process from start to finish, a real labour of love!
All in all, Spartan Campers are a professional company with excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to join the campervan world.

On our first visit to Spartan campers we were showed around, met the team and were able to see the products used in their conversions.
We were so impressed by how friendly and helpful every member of the team were and that has been the case all the way through the possess.
We did visit other van converters but the quality and attention to detail at Spartans superseded the onces we visited.
The handover and after service have been equally excellent.
We apsolutly love love our van ❤️, we have had just one night in it so far and can't wait for spring so we can get out and about, living life and showing our beutiful van off.

What an amazing customer experience we had with Spartan campers. It was our first time purchasing a camper van and Spartan campers made it a wonderful one from start to finish. On our way back to Somerset with our new T6.1 LWB conversion. From first contact with Spartan Campers we have been nothing but impressed. A small team of engineers clearly delivering a product that they all know inside out and believe in. Today, has been handover day, our van ready for delivery and standing out proudly gleaming in the yard. The few minor snags we identified were rectified immediately without a quibble and by staff who were constantly engaging with us and the multiple other customers, most of who turned up on spec like we had a few weeks ago. If you're in the market for a van conversion, Spartan are a fantastic team.

A big thank you to everyone at Spartan for helping us to achieve our dream of owning an amazing top of the range VW Campervan conversion. To say we are happy is the understatement of the century. We have not stopped grinning since we picked up our new van just over two weeks ago!.
Our journey with Spartan began three months ago when we arranged an appointment with them to find out what they were all about. We'd seen some of the vans they had for sale on the website and were really keen to have a look and a chat with them to find out what options were available to us for our budget. We met Joe and Mark and they showed us the vans and explained how things worked. We were absolutely blown away with everything we saw and the passion and enthusiasm that Joe and Mark clearly have for the products that Spartan produce. So that was it we were sold - hook line and sinker!!
We decided there and then that the way to go for us was to let the guys find us a van to meet our requirements and to convert it for us within our budget.
We then had a few weeks to wait until they had carefully sourced us our van ready for conversion. In that time I can honestly say that we never stopped thinking and dreaming about all the adventures we were going to have!
Once our van had been purchased we went back to Spartan to spec our conversion and then five weeks later we returned again to pick it up as the finished campervan of our dreams! What can we say...we were completely blown away with the results! It's an absolute show stopper!
We have just returned from our first trip and we are still smiling from ear to ear.
Thanks a million times over to everyone at Spartan who helped our dream come true. Especially to Mark who was a continuous source of contact in those weeks when we were like two stupidly excited children waiting for Christmas Day 😂😂

We visited Spartan just with the intention of looking at what was available and what we could afford. We came away with a deposit paid on an almost completed van. It was love at first sight!

We were blown away with the thoughtful design and excellent build quality, the van we were shown ticked all our boxes and more.

Everyone we met was very genuine, helpful and knowledgeable. It is obvious that the whole team have a real passion for, and pride in, what they do, which is design and build beautiful camper vans.

As new campers, we really appreciated the thorough handover. It’s good to know that we can contact the team for support and guidance in the future if we need it. The warranty gives peace of mind.

Well, what can I say about Spartan Campers, other than fantastic, from our first contact all the way through handover this morning. The whole process has been excellent, brilliant communications, fantastic customer service, and a great understanding of what we wanted and how to provide it.

I had contacted a couple of other companies with a view to a custom build, having seen some of their vans advertised I decided to contact Mark and Joe at Spartan.

We had viewed a number of dealerships to see what we wanted, and filled in the form online. They came back to us almost immediately, we went through our requirements, and they said they could provide it within 8-10 weeks, we booked a build slot. However they came back to us a few hours later with a vehicle that was in production, different exterior colour to what we had originally considered however it was a two tone copper and white which was stunning.

We decided to go with it as it was the exact spec, and as it was pre production we were able to change a few times such as the upholstery colour, wheels and we added an additional side table as was long wheelbase and an Awning rail.

We were able to arrange a handover for just over 3 weeks from initial contact, with updates and constant communication throughout.

The van was perfect when we collected we had an over 2hour handover, went through the vehicle and everything and even got a tour of the facilities, near in everything is hand made and done on site, kitchens, paint shop etc.

I can't thank Mark and Joe enough, they are so passionate and dedicated and you can see that in their whole team with the quality of the end result.

Anyone even looking should get in touch with them, they are fantastic and highly recommend them to anyone.

We absolutely love our van, which Spartan turned around in record time for us following the loss of our last van (built elsewhere ) in an accident. I’m still not well enough to go anywhere in it, but it’s drawing admiring glances from friends and neighbours and we’re desperate to try it out for real as it’s quite an upgrade on our previous van (all sorts of great features that I know will make a difference like the lithium battery, heater, inside water tank, swivel seat on rails and the large wardrobe) Spartan team were really communicative and helpful, and really open about their processes, showing us around the factory. Great experience. The warranty offers peace of mind too.
