It's just a music thieving distributor. Not only did they suspend me from their site, but when I switched to another distributor, they told me Songcast claims to have the rights to the master of my music. They suspended me even though I gave them no rights. Run away!

After doing extensive research, SongCast Music is probably the best music distribution for independent artists. I tried TuneCore for a little while, but their customer service gave me mixed messages, even though they are probably one of the better ones. Dot on SongCast has been very helpful. Just be honest & upfront with Dot, and the customer service will be helpful. Also, stay away from scam promoter companies who offer over 100k streams or more in a short period of time. They are all bot companies at some level, so don't ruin it for yourself as a musician.

I would give 0 stars if possible. These guys are just scammers.

Waste of time, suspended my account for no reason, my song had the status "Contact Support", when I contacted support asking what's wrong with my release they've suspended my account without any answer, not even a reason why they suspended my account. 0 communication on this.

Stay away from this distributor.

The service provided overall is just very untrustworthy. I had contacted apple and Spotify for information on my tracks and their streaming numbers and they did NOT match what SongCast's Analytics showed. I mean, we are talking about 30% of the total streams of my music were showing on their reports.

Then I discovered that two of the albums I had requested to be taken down, showed they were taken down on their website, but if you google searched those two albums, they were still showing available for streaming and purchase on Amazon, Spotify and Apple Music. They admitted to one of the albums but claimed that there were no streams or sales of the albums during that time. I call BS on that.

Then when I tried to withdraw my royalties, the pending date would constantly change to the current date, and it looks 4 weeks and an email to finally get that settled up.

Urgent Account Resolution Needed for Fair Artist Compensation

We’ve been facing a long-standing issue with our account, which has been blocked for several months. The situation began when an artist signed with a record label and, unfortunately, failed to notify the producers, resulting in the music being taken down by both us and the artist. Despite this, the account remains blocked, and there are still active works under our management.

We have submitted all required documents and repeatedly reached out for assistance, but it seems our case has been overlooked. This delay is affecting other artists waiting for their rightful royalties from their productions. We kindly ask for the account to be released so that we can proceed with payouts and ensure that every creator is compensated fairly for their work.

Since 2020, this site has been charging me €5.99 every month, amounting to a total of $473. Despite multiple attempts, it is completely impossible to block these charges. I demand that these charges be stopped immediately and that the due amount be refunded as soon as possible. This situation is unacceptable, and I absolutely do not recommend this site to anyone.

I have distributed my music through Songcast since 2010. Royalties are posted on the 20th of each month like clockwork. They also post reports showing number of streams on each platform. The only drawback is there is no direct deposit. A manual request must be submitted each month to transfer royalties to a Paypal account.

Songcastmusic has openly censored our music through YouTube, spotify, amazon and all the streaming services. we have been around for 20 years and have more than 20 releases Albums to singles

We have worked with them for over ten years and yet we have 14 subs on YouTube and removal of views.
dot is fraud and a liar (artist Support)

As our news team has documented their lies and fraud censorship of music and art covers. We have shown them their absolute criminal actions with our music and what they have done to and with it over ten years is beyond insulting they promise to monitze our youtube channel then retracted a contractual agreement in writing.

Mike Wright the owner has now let us know after this they will be removing all of our 20 years worth of music. This is because we asked them questions and demanded answers.

our music still has not been removed from the stores like mike claimed he would. Royalties are not reflecting properly and they refuse to explain or respond to anything to this day.

the most frustrating thing is they claimed our album could not have the words "10 year anniversary Remaster" We were told it was advertising so they without consent altered the album to remastered.

once this was known it was to be removed, in Feb 2023 and to this day the album is being sold on. when their database shows it has been removed and so for over a year we have not been given accurate and fully accounted for royalties. again they will not respond We have filed a complaint with the FTC as well

1 🌟 for Dot from SongCast, who claims not to be a robot, but is the only one answering all support queries,and at all hours of the day or night. The problems with her is that she will pick and choose which queries to answer, and has no business etiquette, (so no please and thank you) this is after telling her that I will be giving a review! In all fairness though I give Songcast 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟for their quick response time.
2 🌟 🌟 for giving a sales stat report for royalties. The problem is that we have to trust their reports. Why are we not given reports directly from all distribution platforms?? So we can cross reference with theirs!!
5 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟for releasing my track on time. (About 2days) in 2 platforms, and gradually to others after probing.
So my main problem is Royalty payments. This Must be the problem with other distrubuters as well so we Artists need to get together and fight for more Clarity and Transparency on Royalty reports and payments. We definitely need to receive Sales Reports to be sent directly to us from all platforms for our Transparency and perusal.

This is a steal,charges monthly charges every upload and now I want to takedown and they charges me 25€ by each song I want to take down

for the past 40 days, my account has had the information "we are currently reviewing your account for unusual sales activity" under Royalties. Nobody answers me, the money was not paid out to me either. Actually a pity thing, because it is a very easy to use distributor that otherwise does good work. I am disappointed.
