Great!

I have been using Sona for almost a month now, and I am genuinely impressed. Over the years, I have tried several vagus nerve stimulation devices, including Zenowell, Nurosym, Apollo Neuro, Sensate 2, Amofit S, and Pulsetto. I can honestly say that Sona has been the best vagus nerve stimulator I have used so far.

Since I started using it, my sleep has improved noticeably, and my HRV has increased consistently across all three of the wearables I use to track it: Oura, Whoop, and Apple Watch. My anxiety has also decreased significantly, and overall I feel calmer, happier, and more resilient.

Beyond the device itself, the support from the team has been exceptional. Everyone I have interacted with has been knowledgeable, patient, empathetic, and genuinely committed to helping me get the most out of the product. It’s rare these days to be able to speak directly with the CEO or founder of a company and receive thoughtful, personalized guidance. That level of accessibility and customer care has made the experience even more positive.

There are still a few areas where I think Sona can improve. The app, while functional, could benefit from additional content, as the number of available programs is currently somewhat limited. I hope the team continues to expand the library over time. In addition, the integrations with Oura and Whoop are not yet working. From my conversations with the team, I understand that these integrations are currently a lower development priority, which is a reasonable decision given their focus on the core product.
Overall, based on my experience so far, I can highly recommend Sona to anyone interested in vagus nerve stimulation. It has made a meaningful difference to my wellbeing, and I look forward to seeing how both the device and the platform continue to evolve over the coming months.

I've been using Sona for a month now…

I've been using Sona for a month now and I've found the results very encouraging. It's been really helpful and I feel better as a result. I love the data, I found the ecosystem very robust and have really enjoyed the engaging communications from the company.

Fantastic product and amazing customer support

I cant rate the product or the help response highly enough.
Yes i did have to wait a little longer for the product, but when it arrived it did not disappoint.
At all times during the delayed delivery I was kept informed.
After delivery I had a 1 to 1 onboarding. It was excellent!
The responses to my many questions have been fast & through.
But the biggest impact was on my sleep. I have only been using the device for 2 weeks, but my sleep has changed dramatically, Historically if I woke any time after 2 hrs sleep I could not go back to sleep as brain would engage and that was it.
Now, I wake use bathroom & barely notice I'm awake, and within seconds i am fast asleep again. Its absolutely amazing.
Worth every penny & the wait!!

I received amazing help in setting up…

I received amazing help in setting up my Sona for the first time. It is easy to use once you get the hang of it.
I have only been using it for 2 weeks. I haven't noticed any sudden changes but I have noticed that my sleep is gradually improving and my HRV as measured by my Oura is improving. I can't wait to see how much more they improve and knock on effects on my levels of stress.

I've been using sonar for 16 days and…

I've been using sonar for 16 days and already I've noticed a huge huge improvement in my well-being and sleep pattern. It's a beautifully designed product and all you have to do is carry out a 15 minute stimulation each day to get the benefits. I'm still learning about the Vagus nerve and is a great way to start it's not cheap but the benefits are very tangible and I strongly recommend Sona to anyone wanting to improve their sleep pattern and reduce their stress levels. Personally I've had a very good…

Personally I've had a very good experience with Sona. Yes it's a new product and company but the customer support is excellent, they do genuinely seem to care, and believe in their gadget and what they are doing! My own Sona experience has been noticeably beneficial, it's no magic wand but I've worked in mental health for 30 years and magic wands do not exist. I have found that my reactivity has significantly dropped, so if say I drop a cup or a delivery is delayed I'm not grinding my teeth about it! At least not as much. My Mrs thinks I'm sleeping better. I know there are also contributory influences on any benefits, such as breathing in the manner the app suggests say, but the improvements I've experienced are not down to this sort of thing (as I've done all that prior and not had the rewards). Evidence is there, I've ADHD and move on from novelty quickly, but I'm in my 10th week with Sona and I still use it daily, barring 1 or 2 days, that speaks volumes to me

Awful communication

I’ve only recently ordered my sona and am keen to see if it works for me. Unfortunately, given how expensive this item is, the communication from this company is horrendous (ie non-existent). I have emailed 4 or 5 times asking if my order will be sent as part of the current drop (end of May) or if I will have to wait for the next drop, and if so when is that planned to be approximately? As yet none of those emails have received a response. The lack of communication is really making me second guess my opinion of this company-they need to seriously up their game in replying to emails/customer service. It makes me wonder if this is a company to trust my nearly £700 with

Was sceptical but have been impressed.

I gave Nurosym a shot recently and noticed some improvement, but the ear clip just wasn’t quite right for me. Then, I started seeing Sona ads and, feeling a bit reassured by the 30-day return policy, decided to give it a try. There was a bit of a wait for the device, and the initial communication wasn’t great, but after reaching out, I chatted with Jane, one of the founders, who was very reassuring. From then on, the communication improved significantly with weekly updates.

If you need to get in touch, I recommend using their chat feature on the website, it’s much quicker and more responsive than email.

The device arrived last week, and I did need to get some help from the team. They were incredibly helpful and attentive. Eliot the CEO rang me personally.

The first session with the device wasn’t great, but after reading their online guides, I realised how important the conductive gel was. It made a huge difference, turning a fair connection into an excellent one.

I had three 15 minute sessions this week and I’m super impressed so far. Combined with the calming sounds of the app and the breathing guidance, after a stressful day at work, this has really helped me unwind and feel relaxed.

The accompanying app exceeded my expectations. It’s easy to use and provides real time connection information, heart rate and HRV.

The device is comfortable to wear, and once it’s in place, it hasn’t needed any adjustments like Nurosym did for me. It feels premium and solid. The battery in the charging case was a great touch.

It’s a small team and a young company, but you can really feel their passion for the product when you talk to them on the phone or chat. They’re eager to learn and genuinely listened to my feedback.

They offer guidance sessions, and I read that you can also visit their office to try the device yourself.

I was a bit sceptical and unsure if this was just marketing hype, but I’m pleasantly surprised. I’m looking forward to continuing my jouney with this device over the coming weeks, if my first three sessions are any indication.

Recommended - Proactive and responsive

I received the device in February. First impressions were great, the charging case, device and packaging all felt premium, on par with what you would expect for the price. I opted for the black variant which looks stylish and doesn’t stand out when wearing.

I had some initial issues with fit (I have smaller ears so the device sat looser when fitted) and when I contacted the team they were very responsive, swiftly arranged a call with me to discuss how the device could be adjusted to improve fit and other recommendations to try. I ended up using a headband which I already had at home to add that little extra pressure that was needed and have been able to achieve consistently ‘excellent’ pressure as the app signals during sessions. The team has been great, frequent outreaches with tips as well as offers to jump on calls if any issues, I haven’t had this sort of experience (the team showing so much care) with any other product previous to this so I’ve been impressed by the experience. Very excited to see the coming updates as well including an even higher degree of personalisation.

Sona 7 weeks in

Sona is a beautifully designed and…

Sona is a beautifully designed and executed product that is both simple and easy to incorporate into your daily life routine for health and well being.
The results I have achieved in the first six weeks have been impressive.
My HRV(HeartRateVariability)was barely into double figures 12 in fact.This was pointed out to me by a specialist upper cervical chiropractor whom measured it last year.
So my quest to address this begun and then the launch of Sona was the answer.
Since then I now consistently see readings of between 60 and at its peak 140+.
This has translated into what the Sona Team term lengthening the fuse.I have found my tolerance levels increase and with that a greater ability to see past the problem that may have presented itself.Be it business or life in general.
The old me would have ignited the powder not anymore !
It’s a journey and the team are on hand to assist throughout they are also all based in Blighty so what not to like.
You’re health is you’re wealth after all.

Excellent service and very quick…

Excellent service and very quick responses to queries. Very helpful with advice too. The Sona is simple to use and very effective at aiding sleep and restfulness. Could have done with having a refillable lubricant applicator.
Everything considered, can highly recommend!

Just received my SONA

Purchased device in April and was told…

EDIT - June 1st - still waiting, still no clarity or clear and concise contact. Still massively disappointed!

Purchased device in April and was told delivery would be end of April. Communication as been vague and unhelpful. No longer responding to emails and no delivery date incoming. Thoroughly disappointed

A deep state of bliss

I've been using Sona for 3 weeks now. As an experienced meditator, I was curious whether using it during meditation would make a difference, and I've been surprised on two fronts. In most sessions, I tend to drop into a deep state of bliss around the 5–10 minute mark, which is really lovely. My Garmin has also picked up about 15% more deep sleep on nights following a session, compared to my baseline.

I find this fascinating, and would love to know if others are experiencing something similar. Would definitely recommend it to anyone with a meditation practice who's keen to deepen theirs.
