Absolutely shocking customer service in the UK. I've been using my system via Social Energy and all was fine until a fault came up on my battery. Despite several attempts by me and my engineer we got nowhere. All that happened was more and more difficult demands and hoops to jump through until I've asked the engineer to source the part and I'll pay for it myself. 10 year guarantee my a##e.

Usless company go somwhere else to get solar I am in New Zealand got solax 5 years ago Salesman was very good at his job. Now no help at all solar is still working but there app is usless can not connect to app I think my wifi is not working on it but there is no one to contact about it. The person who sold and installed has moved so as far as I know there is no one in my area dealing with Solax. Dont buy overseas buy New Zealand only.
Don't Consider Their Batteries
Wow! We are now starting the process to remove the equipment and get a full refund. We purchased a 2 inverters and a total of 8 batteries. The electrician has given up. At first the batteries would charge at night and put the energy into the grid during the day. New firmware stopped that but now they discharge at night until they get to the Lower State of Charge which is proper, but once they get to the lower SoC they switch to standby and will not charge with the PV the following day. With a LOT of messing around rebooting the inverters etc. I can get them to start charging the next morning and the process repeats each day. Tech support has been useless, they have replaced the inverters but the new ones behave the same. What a waste of 2 months time.

They don't deserve the 1 star I had to give them. I rang and the end user line cuts you off. So, I rang the technical bit and the reception I got from Emma was exceptionally frosty. She wouldn't listen and kept calling me mate (which we are not). I was accused repeatedly of being an idiot for buying cheap of the net, but they must've supplied who I bought from. Still would not listen to reason just kept shouting me down. PLEASE don't buy from these nasty pieces of work.

Save yourself the grief and use another company. Their all round comms and customer service is appalling. They have almost zero infrastructure around things like ticketing systems.
Their app/monitoring platform is also shockingly bad.

It works but the Solax App is a complete joke.
My system was installed in June 2022 and first off, the Solax Inverter and Battery System do work... and if I was reviewing my installer I'd be giving 5 stars.
But if you want to do anything other than set the system to charge / discharge the battery 24/7 depending on generated electricity from the solar array, good luck!
The app to control and monitor them is a complete joke. The app communicates directly to the Solax Cloud and then you log into that to monitor and change settings (like manually charging the batteries in the winter when the price per KW/h is cheaper during the night and then discharge at peak times / price.)
Problem is the data sometimes just doesn't log and the app for changing settings is an exercise in frustration itself. Sometimes you can't log on to it, sometimes you can log on and not get to the advanced settings and sometimes you can log in and get to the advanced settings only to change something and get "Settings Failed!" message. Give it a minute, maybe a day, maybe a week and it works... totally random. Oh and when you do manage to change a setting you have to "save" every single change individually (so if you change the start and end times for battery charge from grid and the start / finish time for battery discharge, that's 4 settings you have to change individually!). As an example, tonight I changed (or wanted to change) 8 settings in total to take advantage of zero priced electricity during the early morning to charge the batteries, then discharge during the day when the price goes up.... literally should be a 5 minute task....took 1hr 30 mins....
And the support is none existant, nobody responds to emails. I've tried multiple times to contact them and they just don't respond.
It's a real shame as the specification, warranty and the actual basic operation is really reliable. Just totally let down by poor software and customer support.

I had solar panels installed some months ago with this company’s app provided to monitor consumption. I have emailed them several times without the courtesy of a single response.
UK customer support is woefully…
UK customer support is woefully rubbish!! The app rates at about the same too. There has been a recent firmware update that was a total fail which resulted in the battery being charged directly from the grid and later the battery discharging back to the grid also, inverter charging the grid while the house was drawing from the grid. Phoned Solax and spoke to someone who was as much use as a one legged person in a butt kicking contest. Product seems good but unfortunately, the Customer Service sucks!!!! Send an email to address provided and be ignored for a second time.
10 year warranty is nothing more than a piece of paper
I have a Solax TriplePower battery which stopped working completely about 2 years after installation. It supposedly comes with a 10 year warranty, but Solax are doing nothing to service this - it has been 5 months since I submitted the warranty claim and they continue to put me off. The excuse is 'stock shortage' - but I have asked around wholesalers of these batteries in the UK and they say they have taken shipments in the last 2 months. So clearly batteries are coming, but they are not prioritising warranty claims. Don't bother with them - their 10 year warranty looks good on the tin, but so far it's nothing more than a piece of paper.

No support - app totally inaccurate
Since installing solar panels 8 months ago I have emailed Solax Cloud three times about various things (mainly requesting information about things I did not understand about the app). Not one email was even acknowledged, let alone answered. Now that everything is bedded in, I have gone back over the last 4 months to compare the consumption and export data shown on the app to that provided by my electricity supplier (Octopus). Apart from one month’s consumption figure, which was only 5% different, the consumption figures (I.e. kWh taken from the grid) shown by Solax were between 30% and 50% lower than those provided by Octopus. Where does Solax get these figures from?

Limit export function aren't working at all. I set value to 0 and found later days it changed by its self to 6000.
Booklet you get for uk are unhelpfully. Is completely lack of information.
Avoid this company as price I paid for it is not rentable.

Garbage company
solax system stopped working beginning of august,(only installed march 21) phoned my installer who couldnt send anyone to look at it for 2 months, got hold of another solax engineer who came and pinpointed the problem for me (inverter not working) he submitted the paperwork to solax, have repeatedly called solax for for a progress report only to be told that there "is no update" 3 months on and am still in the same position, if offered this system from an installer a AVOID, AVOID,AVOID, THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT, SEEMINGLY NO SPARES, last 2 weeks cant even get through to customer support have left messages for call back and "surprise surprise" no call back

Poor service from Solax
Inverter is said to be compatible with lead acid which 48v dc
Called them said it is only high voltage system 100v dc
Even when there data sheet says it can work with lead acid
Funny the options are there for lead acid
But when you select this and leave it turns back to lithium 100v dc
Which would cook the lead acid battery
Very disappointed as I up my inverter from old Solax
Which work for years with no problem

Worst company
Worst company. Do not use. Supplied a fault battery inverter which they themselves admitted was old stock with old software. When you call you just get an international service centre and the uk office never ever ever call you back. Tried for many months to get this resolved and still no response
Don't buy Solax
Don't buy Solax! Can't describe how frustrated I am with this company. System is under warranty and no one is actually doing anything to fix it. Down since January. 3 months since they said they would replace a component. Rubbish Chinese product with UK service to match
