Before anything else, I would like to commend and give 5 stars to Claire Aitken who from the start of our process show the property and negotiate to the vendor and to us very well. She's very professional on making follow-ups and client friendly.
I will continue to recommend this company to my friends and my community for being a good steward to their clients even after sales.

We had an amazing experience buying our first home with Smith & friends. They were always friendly and happy to help. Really went out of their way to help whenever they could even arranging us a same day viewing 15 minutes before they closed. This ended up being the house we bought! We could not thank them enough for the help and we have already recommended them to anyone we know who is wanting to sell/ purchase a house.

The staff from start to finish were always there to help with any questions about selling/buying, my experience was with both as sold and bought off them, they were always polite/friendly and got back to you ASAP with any questions/information required, the only one thing that I didn't really like, was I felt as though I was pushed into movie butler and it wasn't really explained at what they do? Or why you even need them? To me they are not necessary, but not a negative it's just something personally I didn't really like, overhaul a very good experience with both the Ingleby/Stockton staff, thank you to you all for sorting everything out to sell/buying a property.

This was our first time selling property in England and I'm so glad we chose Smith & Friends in Hartlepool.

Buying and selling houses, is now known to us, as a bit of a minefield; many things are out of our control, and there are many variables.

With this in mind, me and my wife relied heavily on the advice and guidance of Claire Aitken and Lindsey from the Stockton office to help us along our house journey.

Always available via phone or e-mail Claire and Lindsey kept things on track, chased others in the chain, and generally ensured that our sale and purchase kept progressing.

Having that expertise at hand is reassuring and allowed us to focus on other things. Admittedly our sale and purchase has not quite been finalised (almost) but we're eternally grateful to Smith & Friends in Stockton (especially Claire and Lindsey).

I had dealt with the Darlington office as a Landlord. The service was excellent from all staff. Everyone was so helpful. However, I have to make special mention of Lee who always went above and beyond in helping to resolve problems with tenants, or by providing additional administrative services for my property.
