I passed my practical driving test on the first attempt after around 36 hours of manual lessons in a VW Polo with Munsif Fareed at SmartMove Driving School, and I couldn’t be happier with how it went.

Munsif was friendly, reliable, and always on time. He corrected my mistakes as they happened and was genuinely encouraging throughout, which made every lesson enjoyable rather than stressful. He made sure to cover everything needed for the practical test in a structured way, and his communication was excellent from start to finish. He also teaches automatic lessons in a VW Golf, so he’s a great option whichever transmission you’re learning on.

I originally had another instructor (at another company) who was unable to continue instructing me, whilst I already had a test booked, and luckily I was referred Munsif who was able to resume where we left off and keep my date. Very Friendly, great patience, truly got me test-ready and confident and ready for every obstacle the test threw at me.

I had a few driving sessions with Munsif from Smart Move Driving School just before my driving test, and I’m genuinely impressed by his teaching approach and knowledge of UK driving standards. Munsif is the most patient and helpful instructor I have ever heard of. He takes the time to properly explain everything in immense detail and won’t move on until he is confident you have grasped the concept. He has really good ways to visually demonstrate different manoeuvres on the road, I wouldn’t change anything about the learning process. He uses his dash cams to play back complicated roads or areas where mistakes are made which really helps to make sure you don’t repeat mistakes. I passed first time with only a couple lessons with him and was starting from a really bad point. 5/5 would recommend to anyone.

Very good instructor I 1000% recommend

I was driving in the UK with my foreign license and needed some lessons and mock tests to be prepared for my UK license practical tests. We did a couple of sessions with Munsif, and I passed the test in my first attempt. Munsif covered all the important points and possible routes during the lessons and mock tests.

Munsif the best driving instructor you can get in Reading. Managed to pass first time with intense training, with mocks tests as well,great communication and has highlighted what my weaknesses are, very friendly and explaining everything in detail. I would recommend to anyone looking.
