Buyers beware
Buyers beware. If you pay to return goods, they won't reimburse you. Twice I was promised a refund. Terrible customer service. I won't buy from them again.

Our customer service actually went over an above for you with this order.
Your first item was delayed by Royal Mail so we sent out a second item - free of charge.
You received the new item and you told us the original also arrived to you.
A member of your household then off of their own back, sent the additional item back to us at a considerable cost (half the value of the item!) and then you demanded we reimburse you for all the costs.
Had you contacted us first we would have sent you a free return label or paid the cost up to the value of this label.
You were infact reimbused the return postage cost - but not the full amount you paid, as they sent the item back by a very expensive service which was not authorised prior to sending.

This company are fantastic
This company are fantastic. My sons hoverboard had stopped working and after having problems with another company I was really weary to send it off to another one. I contacted smart boards to explain my concerns but they assured me the hoverboard would be in good hands with them and it was. The repair cost was very reasonable and my son is over the moon that his hoverboard is working again! Thank you smart boards!!

full replacement circuit boards…
Order a full replacement circuit boards ordered on a Saturday and was delivered on a Tuesday on standard delivery 😊. I would highly recommended them for the parts/prices super fast delivery

There was an issue with the product
There was an issue with the product. This was rectified immediately by Smartboards, we cannot fault their customer service. 1st rate company to deal with.

I'd probably avoid using the service…
I'd probably avoid using the service again. I had a puncture on my electric scooter. I found the repair service, I was asked to buy a service of £19.95 then post my wheel. After that I had to call twice over 2 weeks to hear anything back, I actually wanted sludge but nobody contacted me to discuss. Finally spoke to someone saying the work had been done, then its' £16.98 for the new tube and shipping back. I don't have the wheel back yet so don't know about the job. However if you live in Leeds probably a good service to pop down to the shop.

Thanks for the feedback.
I can see from our records that this was a non-stock item and had to be ordered in.
Our admin team have been advising that there has been up to a 3+ week lead time on repairs due to recent demand so this was actually faster than quoted.
The invoice which is sent is only a pro-forma and can be amended to include additionals such as slime etc before shipment, as this wasn't requested during calls it wasn't added.
However we would be more than happy to put this in for you if you're ever in the area.

Hi Peter,
The message you received is just a standard DPD auto-message to say that there is an order on it's way to you. This gets sent to you as soon as the order is processed.
Once the label is passed to the warehouse the order gets picked and sent out.
When DPD collect this, only then the status will change.
I can see that the order was delivered within the 3-5 day service as stated.

Replacement circuit board
Replacement circuit board ordered for a Bluefin hoverboard. Delivery was within the estimated time. The replacement part fixed the problem and the hoverboard is now fully working again after being out of use for some time. Would recommend this website for spares.
