1st time I haven't been totally satisfied

I've been having my boiler serviced annually through Smart Cover and have always been satisfied with the process and service. However this year the service was completed in 10 minutes. Everything was ticked off as working on the sheet but I find it difficult to believe a thorough service can be carried out by 2 engineers in 10 minutes.

Smart cover

We signed up with smart cover for boiler, plumbing &electrical cover & we contacted them this morning as we had an issue, Smart Cover informed us that we have been migrated to Home Tree, we contacted home tree, they informed us that we are only covered for emergency cover only!!! That is not we signed up for never again can use smart cover!!!! Not recommending Smart Cover!!!

Handled promptly and efficiently and…

Handled promptly and efficiently and were adaptable to suggestions.
My dealings were with Katherine Hayes who kept me informed and updated me on progress regularly, by email and by phone. When I recommended an alternative arrangement she was happy to suggest this to the insurer and this was acceptable to them.
A satisfying outcome

Timely and courteous service

Smart Cover rang me when they said they would (this was to arrange a date for a boiler service), but later were unexpectedly able to fit is in earlier, due to a cancellation. Everyone, including the claims handler Katherine Hayes, was very professional and polite.

Boiler service wGreat service as arranged with ease…

Boiler service was arranged with ease and promptly.
On the day of the service the engineer turned up within the given time slot. He carried out the works in a very friendly manner and was extremely helpful with a problem that I had with a radiator.

I have Smart Cover home emergency cover…

I have Smart Cover home emergency cover policy, other day I had a massive boiler breakdown with water leaking , called them on a weekend out of hours and was very impressed with their quick service and attention to details. Had an engineer at my property within 2 hours and was sorted. Very impressive service.

The agent David Williams was really helpful

The agent David Williams was really helpful and my review is about him is that he was excellent .
However ;Smart Cover needs to get its act together to provide an easy one stop available access. It operates a cumbersome bureaucratic system. There are so many layers and hoops to go through especially for the older customers. Smart cover has all the details it requires in the policy.

Had issues with my boiler as it was…

Had issues with my boiler as it was making noise and had error codes showing on the boiler, called smart cover as i had a boiler breakdown cover policy with them and they sorted out within 24 hrs. Very happy with their service.
