Sarah has a wealth of knowledge in a variety of areas. I would highly recommend!

Sarah gave a talk at a workshop for families of children with additional needs. She was very informative and clear and gave the parents lots of things to think about. We look forward to working with her again.

Any session we have had with Sarah has been brilliant. She goes extra mile to see how our child was getting along. She even visited her nursery to help her.

She's certainly been observing and shedding guidance about where we need to improve to help her as a parent. Every session was really worthwhile.

Outstanding, highly professional therapist. I am very pleased we found SLT therapist Nina, she is very friendly and got connected with my son after first session.

Nina has been my son’s speech and language therapist for the past 5 months . He is progressing really well and he has a great rapport with Nina. He looks forward to sessions with Nina. She is able to understand his difficulties with language and very patiently teaches him. The sessions are fun and very informative ( as a parent).

She always has a cheerful demeanour and you can freely talk to her about your concerns. She listens, understands and incorporate various methods to teach a concept. She is extremely supportive and understands what you are going through as a parent. I would recommend her highly.

Nina has been my son’s speech therapist for over one year now and my son has done very good progress. He is enjoying the online sessions too. Great staff at S L Therapy London.

It’s been a tough one for our 8yr old daughter to adapt to this method. However Nina has managed to keep her engaged through most of the sessions, allowing continuity in her routine. Great work by Nina.

Sarah is a really kind genuine person. I'm an autistic adult with an autistic child whom Sarah assessed and wrote a report on which was used in a tribunal. I was really impressed by Sarah's knowledge and genuine understanding of Autism. She considered everything and left no stone unturned. I was also really impressed with Sarah's detailed assessment of my son's 'then' school environment too. The report that Sarah put together to be submitted to tribunal really was 'without fault' and written in a legally compliant way with lots of detail. Most importantly it was very clearly quantified and specified. I'm pleased to say that we won our tribunal and all of Sarah's recommendations were taken on board and now form part of my child's EHCP. I should also mention that Sarah travelled from London to Devon to carry out this work and this was no problem for her. I couldn't more highly recommended Sarah on all counts; SALT, excellent legally compliant report writing, good child AND parent communication, clearly given information and explanations throughout, reliable and fairly priced. I actually have 6 children with disabilities and approaching 20 years experience of SEND parenting experience. I have seen an awful lot! Sarah is exceptional and you simply couldn't be disappointed.

When I first heard about S L Therapy London My son Tyler who has Autism was in year 9 of secondary school.
He was failing in every lesson and his self esteem was at an all time low he was sad and unhappy every single day and often refused to go to school.

I commissioned Sarah Lyons to conduct a SALT report as evidence for our upcoming tribunal court case to move Tyler to a more suitable school setting.
Tyler is uncomfortable meeting new people, however Sarah was able to put him at ease, she has a lovely, warm and charismatic energy she also managed to help him remain focused during the report which is often difficult with Tyler’s short attention span.

The report was the most in depth, insightful, factual and truthful reflection of Tyler’s needs.

This report was a pivotal part of evidence in the case therefore I also commissioned Sarah to attend the Court Tribunal to give evidence to support Tyler’s Case.

The court ruled in our favour and Tyler is now attending an independent Special needs school where he is achieving to the best of his ability but more importantly he has found his self confidence and is such extremely happy.

Tyler over the past 9 years has had a number of SALT reports none of which meet this standard, I highly recommend the services of S L Therapy London.

Our 5 year old son has engaged brilliantly with the online platform used by SL Therapy. We have only done 2 online sessions with Sarah so far but we are already noticing progress. The ability to share screens and play interactive games during the session only serves to enhance our sons experience. He delights in “taking control” of Sarah’s screen and virtual high 5’s are plentiful.

Really pleased that my son could continue his speech therapy even when we are having to stay home due to the recent pandemic.
Teddy did well seeing Nina on the iPad. He was interested and interacted with Nina. Nina made it fun and exciting. Teddy said a few words and got interested with what Nina would show him next as she played “what’s in my bag”.

My son usually has weekly speech therapy but due to the current pandemic we tried an online session. My son loved it and engaged really well in the session. Nina is fantastic, her sessions hold my son’s attention (face to face and online) and because he enjoys the session he interacts well and his speech is improving.

Due to the pandemic we completed an online assessment with Sarah for my 2 year old son who has a moderate stammer. I have to say that completing this remotely was very successful and Sarah was able to still get a complete picture of my sons interaction and communication abilities - it was just like she was in the room with us. We will now also complete our therapy sessions remotely and do not envisage any disadvantages at all from doing so. I would highly recommend this to any other parent who is currently concerned about their children. There really is no need to wait when we have the tools to get going! Sarah - thank you very much. My husband and I already feel much less anxious having begun our sessions.
