The car we booked were not available and we had to upgrade. That’s a common thing I experienced with Sixt instead of a free upgrade. At the carpark, the wait time was long as the staff was no where to be seen and we waited for 15 mins after we contacted the sales office staff to contact the carpark attendant.

The experience was excellent overall, except for receiving two speeding tickets within the first minute after picking up the car.
The staff were especially friendly, and I truly appreciated the complimentary upgrade. However, it was somewhat inconvenient that the vehicle did not have ADAS features despite being a newer model.
I would particularly like to highly commend the staff member at the pickup location for his exceptional kindness and helpful assistance.

This company is committing fraud. They charge my card over 4000 AED on 3 separate occasions. After several emails I finally got a reply stating that they were traffic fines, another several emails of me asking what the traffic fines were for they failed to provide any evidence or reason for the so called fines. Their communication is appalling and I will never go anywhere near these clowns again. Seriously avoid at all cost, there are so many good companies to rent from in Dubai. I’ve since reported them to a fraudulent department

This is honestly the first car rental experience in the UAE where I can say that everything worked exactly as it should.

I rented my car from the Sheikh Zayed Road branch, not at the airport, and the difference was very noticeable. The vehicle I received was clean, well maintained, and exactly as agreed. No unpleasant surprises, no discussions, no pressure.

Both the handover and the return process were smooth, professional, and efficient. Everything was clearly explained, transparent, and handled in a calm and respectful manner. This is exactly what you expect from a professional international rental company.

I want to explicitly mention that I have had many bad experiences in the UAE in the past, especially with some rental providers at the airport. That is precisely why I decided to take a different approach this time and rent directly from the Sheikh Zayed Road location instead of the airport – and it was absolutely the right decision.

Based on this experience, I can clearly recommend:

choosing Sixt,

and avoiding airport rentals if possible,

and renting directly from a city branch such as Sheikh Zayed Road.

So far, this has been a very positive experience, and I am happy to continue renting with Sixt in the future. Looking forward to more smooth and professional rentals.

This rental car company will charge your card for full amount of car damages if you get into a wreck. They will not wait for your insurance company and will refuse to close contract and continue to charge you for car. BEWARE!!

Inacceptable ! Arnaque ! Nous avons réservé un SUV (la veille) type FCAR. On nous a remis le contrat avec FCAR indiqué dessus et le ticket de carte bleue agraphé (déposit de 3000 AED au contrat = 7000 AED prélevés en caution). On récupère la voiture : une berline 2/4 portes. Impossible de mettre les enfats et les valises. Sur le contrat déposé sur l'espace client SIXT en ligne, la catégorie n'est plus la même : SCAR (berline). Entre le comptoir, et le l'espace client web : changement de catégorie. Etat des lieux : le monsieur qui fait le tour vite fait nous indique qu'il ne note pas les impacts de moins de 3 cm. On demande qd même de vérifier, il nous montre une tablette avec quelques points noirs dessinés et c'est terminé. Au reotur on nous facture un choc sur la de 1cm à peine, déjà là à l'arrivée. J'envoie les photos. Meme cela n'a pas suffi. Bilan : Pas de SUV et une berline qui sentait la cigarette, 146€ prélevés pour la jante. C'est HONT-EUX !!!!!

Une expérience catastrophique avec cette agence ! Ils profitent de leurs clients en leur faisant payer des réparations abusives. On m’a facturé 450 € pour une rayure qui était déjà là avant ma location. Lors de la prise en charge, le véhicule est garé dans un parking mal éclairé où il est impossible de détecter les défauts. Mais au moment de la restitution, tout change : ils inspectent chaque centimètre à la loupe dans un endroit parfaitement éclairé, prêts à facturer à la moindre rayure. C’est clairement une arnaque. Je ne me préoccupe pas des 450 €, mais c’est frustrant de se faire avoir de manière aussi délibérée. C’est la première fois que je me fais piéger de la sorte par une agence. À éviter absolument !

Titulaire d’une carte Sixt platinum à mon arrivée en agence on m’informe que ma catégorie n’est pas disponible 2 solutions s’offre à moi garder ma voiture qui une catégorie en dessous, ou annuler car la catégorie au dessus n’est pas disponible le manager ne veut pas me parler au téléphone et propose une voiture mais 4 catégorie en dessous après 1h d’attente a refuser leur proposition on me donne finalement la catégorie au dessus qui était sois pas disponible mais garer sur le parking à mon arrivée et encore 50 min d’attente car bien évidemment le véhicule arrivait d’une autre agence mais au final c’était encore un mensonge car j’ai eu le véhicule qui était dans le parking. Sinon toujours le même problème on me propose la catégorie au dessus à un tarif préférentiels mais dès lors je dis que j’un surclassement gratuit à non c’est plus disponible donc je me demande à quoi sert cette carte
