Truly excellent
Your company came quickly and in a realistic timeframe. The operator from Madison/Standburn was a very pleasant guy. He did a very thorough job and understood how the fuel circulation works each time you turn in the ignition thereby ensuring complete emptying of the fuel. Was then in my way with a generous 10 litres fuel.

My American sister!
My American sister filled up with the wrong fuel while on a trip to Fife. She didn’t know what to do so she phoned me at home. I phoned the Green Flag but they couldn’t help except give me your web address, I’m glad they did as things got better from then on, from the answering of the call to the site visit you could not have done better, your man on site was very professional, polite and explained all the steps, thank you!

Very professional and courteous assistance following a stupid mistake on my part when I put the wrong fuel in my vehicle. The wait time and time to complete the drainage was very impressive. All in all an excellent service expertly carried out by Tom.

Our assistant was excellent
Our assistant was excellent, picking me up&taking me back to vehicle. Also explaining what had to be done to empty our full fuel tank. Putting enough fuel in to JUST reach nearest fuel station. REMEMBER we were in a state of shock therefore MORE fuel would’ve been comforting!

Great to hear our technician Tom went the extra mile for you and collected you to take you to your vehicle. I hope this reduced some of the stress in your state of shock.
Regarding the fuel, I can see we were sent your job down from the AA - We are contracted to supply £15 of fresh fuel to each customer - they usually explain this on the phone unless you are covered under a policy where you don't need to pay for the service. £15 of the correct fuel would be approximately 7.5 litres, which should typically be enough for about 40miles. We always advise you to fill it up at your earliest convenience, and looking at your breakdown location, there were three fuel stations within two miles.
Typically after a fuel drain is carried out and your vehicle is refilled with £15, your gauge may still show zero until it is filled to its existing level.
