Have been buying silver coins from Martin for about 2 years now. His service is second to none. He typically has a far better range of bullion coins in stock than all of the big name dealers, his prices are usually better and he despatches items very quickly. In the (very rare) event of any issue you can get hold of him by phone or email very easily. I have no hesitation in recommending him and would not want to go anywhere else.

I’ve bought many coins from Martin over the last 6 months. Prices are good, communications are timely, goods arrive promptly and packaged well. Everything I’ve bought (bullion or ‘b’grade) have been exactly as I’ve expected them to be.
I can’t fault Sivertrader in any way.

I have been buying silver coins from Martin, The Silver Trader for several years now. He offers advice in a friendly and professional manner and nothing is too much trouble for him. His range of silver coins is fantastic, providing discounts for multiple purchases. Coins are received within 24/48 hours of purchase and very well packaged indeed.

One time I phoned Martin as I was seeking some coins that were out of stock everywhere and he managed to source them for me for which I am extremely grateful. Always have a great experience with this company so much so that they are my preferred supplier.

As with any product, one should be aware that some national mints do not always turn out perfect coins in bullion so if perfection is required from such known mints, then proof coins are the way to go. I avoid such mints known for milk spotting on coins.

The range of coins Martin stocks is amazing and the information he gives on each coins is fantastic, the best I've come across making me desire so many. My only problem is that my eyes are bigger than my wallet!

For the last 3 years I have been buying Silver Coins off Martin at SilverTrader to help boost my investment portfolio & also because I love Coin Collecting. Since I've known Martin he as always been very professional and is always there to offer friendly advice either by email or phone & pretty much instant response. Martin also cares about is customers & the coin community & goes out off is way to source the latest releases and in my opinion he offers a very competitive pricing specially as he doesn't charge anything for postage & we all no how much special delivery costs and these are costs he could pass on to is customers but he doesn't so that to me shows that Martin does care and at least trying to keep is customer base Happy by not adding more costs

Like I said at the beginning I have spent thousands off pounds on bullion coins I don't expect each coin to be pristine or perfect as there bullion if I wanted perfect then i will be looking at Silver Proof Coins at 3 x the cost so Martin keep it going buddy I am happy to continue to use you as my Silver Supplier as I don't trust too Many others but you I trust whole heartily m8 plus I'm looking forward to the New Coins you will bring to your customers in the future I can't wait.

Martin replies to queries and requests very quickly (even in the wee hours when I have messaged him). I truly believe that you won't find a better and honest UK silver dealer (or anywhere, in fact).

Firstly I was on board with everyone else. When I first found Martin's site and saw the positive reviews this gave me the confidence to buy. At the time when I discovered his site he wasn't taking any new customers. I had messaged him asking when he would be as I was interested in buying a few coins for my dads upcoming birthday. Straight away he got back to me telling me he had created an account for me. I had made 6 orders so far with him and as everyone had mentioned his service was great. Coins were pristine, dispatch/delivery was fast, competitive prices and communication was great. Now for the reason why I have left 1 star is down to the last order I made. I had purchased 7 Queens Beasts Completer Coins and sadly 3 had milk spots. I messaged Martin with photos telling him about this. 9pm that night I received my first call from him. He didn't seem too happy about me not wanting to keep the 3 coins. Comments were made about how he can't do this every time otherwise he would be out of pocket. I was at the time hoping for a replacement but before I got the chance to ask he had said he would have sent a replacement but there's no point as the same will happen again. He also said milk spots come and go which I was very taken back by considering his line of work. I was also told photos can make milk spots look worse and comments were made about maybe getting a different hobby as it's to be expected with silver. I think if on your site your going to also sell Grade B coins aswell which are listed as having (Marks/Milk Spots) then people will expect coins they buy to not have the said issues. I was really taken back by this conversation and at the time had no choice to challenge anything that was being said because I didn't want left with 3 coins I paid for and was unhappy about. When I had mentioned I would like a refund his words were "Well you'd obviously have to send them back" rather than yeah just send them back. I didn't like the insinuation of me expecting to keep them. Martin accepted the return, gave me clear instructions on how to send them back and the day they were delivered to him a fast refund was issued along with the return postage costs. For me the conversation didn't have the friendly service that's advertised, certain comments said were very worrying. I was left with a bad taste in mouth and was made to feel unable to buy from him in the future due to the fear there was ever a problem again and not feeling like it can be addressed. - Larah.

Reply To The Sellers Response Below - I felt compelled to reply to this after seeing the ebay comments as I found them very alarming. I would like to say as a customer I'm trusting a seller (business) with my private information that is stored on their site. The fact you have used my location to track me down on other platforms is very unprofessional and borderline harassment. The fact you have also shared ebay details for others to see which I would like to point out isn't even my ebay account but a family members is also unprofessional and upsetting and the fact you gave none of that any thought is worrying. You seem to have no regards for customers personal information therefore safety. (Do not contact me again)

I have bought several silver pieces from SilverTrader and would be reluctant to go anywhere else. The prices are consistently lower than the big bullion dealers. My coins always arrive within 3 days and are packaged very well indeed- reminds me of a game of pass the parcel! The site has a great selection of coins with products from all of the best known mints. If I wasn't about to start university I would certainly be tempted to buy much much more. I'd love to see perhaps some fractional gold being sold in the future, or some of the 5oz/10oz/1Kg Perth Mint silver coins.

I have bought a few coins from Martin now. Every time they are packaged really well, in pristine condition and delivered within 48 hours. I think I will need to set up a direct debit to this company as they are superb!!
