Lost a recent purchase during the Christmas frenzy (to no fault of Martin’s). Martin offered to send a new coin as replacement and have kept good communication throughout.

I"ve bought from Martin a few times and always been delighted with the coins and service, some people forget these are bullion coins and as such may have the odd blemish or imperfection, if you want mint items buy proof at 3 times the price

I've been buying bullion coins from Martin for about 5 years now. If I was looking for proof quality (unblemished, no milk spots etc etc) then I'd expect to pay more obviously and may have to look elsewhere. Martin can be absolutely relied upon to a) have good availability b) keep customers informed via newsletter about future releases c) price competitively d) deliver promptly and safely, and e) communicate confirmation of order & delivery. It's such a pity that customers write a bad review in spite of their having been given excellent service and a fix for their perceived problems! A1++++++++++++++

I have been buying coins from Martin for several years now for the simple reason that his prices are always competitive and they always arrive well packaged and on time. Communication is also great. What more can you ask for?
If only more sellers were as professional as him, including The Royal Mint!!

I have bought a number of coins from Martin over the past few years, and the only complaint I have is the possible national shortage of jiffybags caused by his fanatically careful packaging. Seriously, he is a consummate professional: returns emails usually within minutes; dispatches goods either the same day or the next dependent on time of order, and everything is fantastically well packed. I don't know how he deals with returns as I have never had to find out. His prices are extremely competitive and he stocks a very wide range of coins. I have always found him very friendly and helpful to deal with. Martin is definitely my 'go-to' for bullion.

Martin is the kindest man, has the best prices and the best customer service of any bullion dealer in The UK. I have been a customer for about 2 years now, not one single time has there ever been any issue whatsoever with any order or his conduct, in fact, his customer service is outstanding. There are full confirmations for every step of the order, from receipt of payment to order processing and finally delivery. He dispatches next day following order, extremely fast and packaging is overkill, bubble wrapped, inside a bubble mailer and then inside a second bubble mailer or box. His prices are amazing, his packaging is amazing, his quality control is amazing and always transparent and his attitude and customer service are outstanding not only relative to others in the bullion business but relative to any and all business owners. Martin is a credit to the silver community and a thoroughly excellent human as displayed by his polite nature, business attitude and customer service excellence.

If you jump on a hype band waggon and start buying silver with no experience then complain about milk-spotting which is going to happen to most 999 silver, especially if it's Royal Mint silver which is notorious for terribly spotting due to their manufacturing practices then you have no place leaving 1 star reviews for the best bullion dealer in The UK. You don't understand silver and you are not part of the community.

I found Martin (SilverTrader) on the Internet some 2 years ago and, as anyone might expect, buying from a new seller online has its risks, therefore, it was with a little trepidation I made the first order.
I was pleasantly surprised at the speed of delivery and quality of the coins supplied. Subsequently, I have made numerous orders and the service standards and quality have remained exceptional throughout.
On several occasions, I have requested additional coins where limitations on purchases were in place. However, as Martin is fully aware, I buy as an investment for my children and always require 2 of every coin I purchase. Martin has always gone out of his way to assist and on occasions contacted me directly by telephone to discuss my requirements.
I have never found any issues with any coins I have bought, and I can fully recommend Martin as a first-class seller to deal with.
I have read many of his fantastic reviews and completely concur with them, but it is with immense disgust I see a very recent review from an eBay re-seller who disparages on the basis of a minor blemish that could have occurred at any time. Clearly, they know little about silver coins and was overly concerned about re-selling this particular coin so decided to get some form of retribution.
From what I have read and Martin’s response, this is one evidently troubled individual where they have pursued their angst across the internet.
Please disregard this “Lara D” as it is patently obvious she has a totally imagined axe to grind.
