Took 49.95 out of my pocket just to show me a database with the real company ho provide short term insurance....avoid at any cost this scumbags

Complete scam ! Took my money (£49.95) only to find they're not even an insurance company......they only supply you with a list of names. Nice work if you can get it.......scumbags !

Absolute scam, they pray on the fact that people want short term insurance in a hurry and they only provide a service that you could easily do yourself oh and they charge you £49.99 for the pleasure, website is very misleading, avoid at all costs!!!

Absolute scam. Took the money before I was provided with insurance. This meant I wasn’t insured but still lost the money. I requested a refund and they took weeks to respond. They then claimed i lost my 14 day right to refund. All because they didn’t respond.

PLEASE THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE REPORTED AND HACK DOWN.

Take payment before making it clear that they're not actually offering you insurance. Furthermore the insurance companies provided would not provide cover anyway!!

What absolute scammers! I am filing a complaint with the ombudsman for their disgusting behaviour! What absolute thieves! Stay away! They charge u 49 pounds on the pretext of giving you insurance cover, but beware! You are paying the 49 pounds to "give you access to a database" of insurance companies that you can freely access on google. This level of theft is shocking.

Do not use this company.they have just scammed me of £49.95.they do not insure you but output you on to other company's.. will ring my bank to try to cancel the money they took

Absolutely disgusted that this is allowed to happen. Tried insuring my disabled daughter untill her mobility car was available, as soon as I hit ‘pay’ then received a list of insurance companies, I realised I’d been conned! Emailed company as couldn’t get through on number as it’s clearly fake and was told no refund and my 14 days cancellation rights do not apply! Absolutely appalling sham of a company!!!! Wish I’d seen these reviews first

short-insure.com is a replacement for the same company shortinsure.co.uk.
Do not use as they will provide you with a list of companies who you can obtain free quotes from. It will look like a lower price for insurance, but you are likely to receive a much higher cost quote, or even be refused

This is a misleading and useless website, you put in all your details, registration, D. O. B. Address etc, you then get a request to pay £49.99, and when you pay, guess what? They give you a list of companies that will insure your car, if you then put in your details and pay the Real insurance company. Avoid this site at all costs!

My 19 year old son used this site to buy day insurance to travel a 400 mile round trip to buy a car. He thought the £49.95 he paid insured him. It didn't, my son didn't realise he had paid to be sent an email with companys that he would have then had to pay to insure him. This meant he drove uninsured in his new car, fortunately nothing happened.

Doesn't provide quotes or insurance, just gives you a list of existing short term insurance providers and charges £40 for the privilege. Just use Google/Bing/etc and get the same results for free.
