Extremely Happy Senior Citizen 🥰

I am a senior citizen. Never in my lifetime have shipped a car. My nephew suggested SHIP A CAR DIRECT COMPANY.
The experience was excellent; thanks to Mike who walked me through the whole process. Mike stayed in touch assuring me all of the way.

I’m so thankful that I chose Ship a car Direct.

I was informed of times of pick up and delivery. It was right on time. I thought I might have to get a rental; my car came the date I was supposed to get it. PERFECT!!!

Thanks Mike. Thanks SHIP A CAR DIRECT. I would use them again, and I will refer friends and family members if they need to ship. Driver super nice.

Top Notch Auto Shipper

Scott was very friendly , and professional. My car was picked up in Portland Or and delivered the next evening to Temecula CA. The Carrier was also super nice and top notch . Great communication from start to finish.

Expert pickup and delivery, can readily recommend.

Can readily recommend. Very pleased with the entire process.
The website videos are very good. David (coordinator) was outstanding. Communicating with me throughout the transport. And the vented driver and service, wow, was impressive. Literally white glove service loading and unloading the vehicle. Everything was perfect .. which is all I could want.
Car picked up on time and delivered as the driver advised.
Again , delighted and will use next time I need.

Quick, Excellent Service

Quick estimate, fair price, proactive explanations of all the steps throughout the process, good app for documenting the car's condition before and after shipping, prompt and friendly driver, on-time delivery. Everything seemed designed to minimize the effort required from the shipper and receiver.

Jennifer did a fantastic job.

Jennifer did a fantastic job of updates and communication ... there was an issue that was out of her control but she and Ship A Car Direct went out of their way to get it resolved. I would highly recommend!

Early Planner

I'm an early planner and I contacted Ship A Car Direct a few months before the move and was connected to Lottie. Instead of her saying contact us closer to the date, she stayed in communication with me even that far out. She would send email reminders of the date getting closer and answer any questions. The car was picked up and delivered in the time frame estimated. I was able to make all the payments on my card which was very convenient. I would recommend Ship A Car Direct and would definitely use again if needed.

Great cross country car transport

I have now use this company ship a car direct two times for cross country shipments. Each time, the initial contact, organization, and set up was very easy. The drivers were kind, friendly and dependable. I would rate this experience 10 out of 10. I would absolutely call and ask the company to provide this service again.

A warning for those considering Ship A Car Direct

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Ship A Car Direct and their carrier, KG Group that left me with a damaged car and costly repairs (not to mention other logistical hassles due to the car being picked up two weeks after the dates for which it was initially scheduled). I shipped my car from Southern California to Upstate New York and the car arrived with four, large, very noticeable scratches where the paint had been scraped off to the roof, just above the windshield. Upon delivery the carrier tried to tell me the damage had been done prior to pickup and put the blame on me (it hadn't, and both the carrier's photos and my own personal photos confirmed this). When I noticed the damage at delivery, I immediately called Lottie--my contact at Ship A Car, to inform her of it and voice my hesitations around paying the carrier until I received assurance that the repairs would be covered by Ship A Car and/or their carrier, KG Group. Between Ship A Car's "Damage Free Guarantee" and Lottie's assurance that the damage would be covered by Ship A Car and/or the carrier, I chose to have faith that they would do right by their customer and resolve the issue. However, that wasn't what happened. The carrier, KG Group, refused to take responsibility for the damage and Ship A Car refused to take accountability for the misdoings of their carriers, leaving me with the burden of paying for the bulk of the repairs (As it turn out, Ship A Car's "damage free guarantee" is only up to $500, so while this covered a portion of the repairs, the remaining ~$720 is being left to me as the carrier refuses to cover anything). The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and inconvenient—and this isn’t even including the inconveniences I had surrounding pick up and delivery. I’d highly advise against using Ship A Car Direct for anyone considering—I deeply regret having selected them to ship my car and wish I had gone with Montway, even though their prices were slightly higher.

Reliable and honest

In an industry that is absolutely riddled with scams and brokers that are trying to pull a fast one on you, Mike and the ship of car, direct team were fast, reliable, and professional. Original price quoted was achieved within 5%. Communication was constant and thorough. Lastly, the driver they selected was flexible and extremely communicative.

We had a great experience with Ship A…

We had a great experience with Ship A Car Direct and in particular with Jennifer. The communication from my first inquiry through delivery of the car was superb. This was the second time using Ship A Car Direct for cross country and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

Communication was great

It took a couple of days but Jennifer at ship a car direct was always in communication. “Ship a car direct” is a pretty streamlined operation. They had an app to take pictures of the vehicle before and after delivery. This is great because both the driver and myself felt protected. You could text them to see where your vehicle was and it was always on schedule. The driver was adamant about dropping the car off in the back of a Walmart (must be his thing) even though we had a whole empty street with in and out access. That’s was the drivers deal not Jennifer’s or Ship a Car Direct’s fault. Just a slight inconvenience but everything else worked perfect from pick up time to drop off. It worked so well the person I picked the car up from asked who I used after the car was dropped off.
