The Shaw Academy have a generous provision for students with online access to course materials and resources,most are downloadable. I like the way they also provide career tips at the end of a chosen course.

I became a lifetime member around 2016 which was awesome since you had access to everything, including the course toolkits and you also got a digital diploma after completing the course. Unfortunately, this company has been changing their rules throughout the years and now you have to pay for the toolkits and the digital diploma even as a lifetime member which, in my opinion, defies the purpose of having a lifetime membership. I understand charging for the hard copy of the diploma since it is actually something that costs money to produce, but the digital diploma is probably just an auto-generated file and charging 49.99 for that and the course materials just feels scammy to me. There also used to be live support from teachers which is no longer available.

Its a shame because I do enjoy the courses and this used to be a 5-star company for me. But now I feel very disappointed that the features just get removed like this for existing lifetime members which is not a good business practice in my opinion. All this does is removes the stars from your rating in return: no course materials (-1), no digital diploma (-1), no live support from teachers (-1), new and interesting courses (+1), good technical support team (+1). I hope this review is helpful in identifying areas of improvement.

P.S. Forgot to mention, now there's also no way to see which questions you got wrong after completing an assessment which is not helpful at all.

Very easy to access content

Love the easy access and the download material to review at your leisure. There is no time frame allocation that I would prefer. The assignment is multiple choice which is great; the downside is no view of your assignment after completion and score allocation. Hate the buy prompt that pops up all the time. Be careful if you click on it as it processes immediately once your payment details are loaded. Which is scary in a way. I would like the choice to verify the payment. These factors stop a full 5 stars.

I have had a great experience with the course. I have been doing bookkeeping since 1994 but have still learned quite a bit from the course so far...
