Will not buy from this company again due to their slow and unreasonable refund policy. Bought a top, material was poor (scratchy and uncomfortable) and I returned it. Despite the return being received a week ago, it has still not been refunded. When chased, they have communicated that the refund will take up to 28 days - this is against the consumer rights law in the UK and is totally unnecessary. Clear case of trying to hold on to customers money to support their business.

Quality of fabric is very poor, as if it is made of plastic. Customer service is horrible. Over priced dresses for which they charged me for shipping as well as for return on an order with total 805 euros. The refund process takes a lot of time as well.

I am very disappointed with my experience with the oficial Self Portrait site. It has been three weeks since I returned my order, and I still haven’t received my refund. Only after three weeks was I informed (after my numerous mails) that my return is now being “inspected,” even though the brand clearly states on their website that refunds are processed within 14 days. This policy is obviously not being respected.

To make matters worse, I had to pay €30 out of my own pocket to send the return—this is the first brand where I not only have to submit a return request myself but also prepay such a high return cost.

Although I like Self-Portrait products, I will only purchase them in the future through trustworthy retailers such as Mytheresa, who are extremely professional and reliable.
Please avoid the official SP site, order the SP items from all the other multibrand stores.

Versandkosten nach Hamburg und zurück an Self Portrait 25 Euro!!! Das, was hier ankam, hatte nichts mit den Fotos des Herstellers auf der Website zu tun!!! Die Nähte waren wellig, die Proportionen nicht grössengerecht ( Ärmellänge und Weite). Kann ich nicht mal zu reduzierten Preisen empfehlen !!!

The best customer experience I have ever had! Two days after I placed an order, I contacted customer support via email to ask when the order was scheduled to be dispatched. I explained that I needed the clothes since I had an event to attend. Sophie from the customer support immediately handled my request in the best possible way! She arranged a free express shipping via DHL, so I received my order the next day. Definitely, the brand shows so much respect to their clients. The clothes were amazing as always and the quality was the best. I have been buying the brand’s clothes since 2016 and I absolutely love them.

Delivered in 2 days and absolutely beautiful quality. Online it said to size up, I didn’t because I’m losing weight and intended to wear it in Feb however I actually didn’t need to. The 16 fits like a glove (my usual size)

Marta at Self Portrait customer services went above and beyond to make sure I was able to hold on to a sale dress beyond the refund period so I could order and compare a dress from the new collection. I am so grateful. It’s not often you find a company who is so willing to bend for a customer. Bravo Self Portrait!

This is my first time purchasing from Mr Self Portrait - and taking advantage of Black Friday sales - the online purchase and delivery was efficient and timely. I accidentally ordered the same dress twice and Sophie in the CS team was able to remedy the mistake and assit me promptly and efficiently.

The self portrait team was fantastic. Not only were they helpful with returns and exchanges, they were incredibly responsive and lovely to work with.

Very poor refund timeframe. They have your money in their bank for weeks.
Other companies like mint velvet, asos with much bigger shipping and refunds than self portrait can manage returns within a week
I wont be using again. I wont be a 1000 out of pocket for their incompetence. Steer clear unless you live near a shop to accept refund directly
