Had a had easy experience, no issues and very pro active in sorting any issues.

Smooth transition into new account. Great rate of interest.

Had many bank accounts in my time but the app for secure trust locked me out for 7 days on the first day of having it.
Takes 2-4 hours to transfer money just too long compared to other accounts I’ve had

I don't have an account with STB. I was thinking of doing so, and downloaded all their terms and conditions.

The first thing I noticed was that there was frequent reference to "Tariffs". It concerned me that STB might raise service charges. A schedule of tariffs was supposedly to be found on the STB website. I couldn't find them anywhere. I rang the company. The person I spoke to was very pleasant, but also couldn't find the schedule.

She also couldn't explain why there was a reference under the T&C to termination, but no indication of what would be involved.

I did not feel confident around investing money in a company which seems rather wayward around communicating information, so moved on.

A shame really since the interest rate on offer and the apparent simple process of opening an account were both very attractive.

Easy to open a new account all seemed to work well

Just opened a savings account with Secure Trust. It was a nice, easy, simple process. It's early days, but the interest rate is competitive, particularly given the fact you don't have to jump through hoops and open a current account to be able to hold a savings account with them. For that, they get my vote, and my money!

Application questionnaire was easy to complete and the result was extremely quick, no waits for approvals!
The offered interest rate and account conditions suit me very well.

Opening an account with Secure Trust Bank was as easy as it can be. Our deposits appeared quickly. At this point in time they offer a very good interest rate on an easy access savings account. Let's see if they maintain that.

I am 72 my hearings not great and I find the whole process of changing to a new account far too complicated.
I will not be going through this nightmare again, I will close my account and transfer to another bank, by comparison I find the Leeds BS excellent.
I simply do not understand that when you have all my details the process cannot be simpler.

I found the process of applying and opening of my account easy and straightforward. No problem whatsoever.
