We have had a terrible experience. Goods not delivered - apparently they could not find the address that they have delivered to before and other deliveries manage to find virtually daily.
They have been unable to re-send the delivery that was returned to them by the 'inadequate' delivery system. We now await a refund of our money.
Dare we order again - we are not sure. You would think that once the delivery had arrived back with them they would quickly send it back out and try and get it to us. They are simply not interested. V
The service level has been very poor.

This is a company that's serious about customer care!
This morning we opened a delivery and found that some of the items within had been damaged in transit. At 11.47am we emailed details to Screwfix Customer Care. By 12.17pm we'd received an apology and an immediate refund for all the damaged goods. No matter how you look at it, having a problem resolved in exactly half an hour is impressive.
Thank you Screwfix, and thank you Katie Monaghan in Customer Services for exemplary customer care!
Good old fashioned customer service
Went into the Newton Abbot branch for some waste pipe fittings. Needed different sizes but needed them to fit together. I didn't have any catalogue numbers, didn't really know what I needed. But it didn't matter. Staff were brilliant. Suggested various options even opened packets to check that they would fit together. Brilliant old fashioned customer service. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Must particularly mention the store manager Martin and his staff especially David. Screwfix should be proud of the service they delivered today. I didn't feel intimidated or made to feel stupid I'm no builder just an ordinary housewife. Can't reccomended them enough. Thank you.
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Had a voucher code they sent to me. Tried using it on their website but wasn't working. A quick call at 11pm and it was all sorted with my order ready to pick up next day at my local store! Used them a few times and never had any problems!
What the point, when amazon can do it all faster, cheaper and easier?
I ordered two rads both Items arrived broken, late, didn’t get my money back straight away, no reorder, no discount on the next order. However friendly after service but that doesn’t help me keep the house warm. Not sure to shop agin here and not sure to tell anyone else to.

I bought a drill in germany from the screwfix website and paid via PayPal. (Worlpay seems to process the PP payments for them)
I contacted Screwfix to tell them they had an error in the listing which I recognized after ordering. The price search engine that took me to the website was misleading. The prices did not match. Screwfix wanted the higher price. I want my money back because the offer was misleading.
The said they refunded my money but the hadn't. (This was exactly one week ago). I openend a PayPal case the next day. I called again.
They told me to close the PP Case because Worldpay is processing the refund and they can't log in into ther PP account. Sadly, I trusted this company. They said they can only send me the refund when I close the case. Later I called PayPal, they told me this not true. They said I shouldn't have closed it, too late for me.
I am waiting for my money for over a week now, call them a couple of times a day, they say they can't do anything, only the Customer Manager can, well, she is in meetings a lot. Nothing happens. I will not recommend this company, the service is very bad, they do not call you back even if they promise. They are friendly, yes, but not very helpful. Nearly my worst online shopping experience ever.
The money I thought saving, if it is not totally lost, wasn't worth the effort I am having. Lesson learned.
My first and last purchase from Screwfix.eu...
To make it clear this review is related to ScrewFix.eu, a division of ScrewFix.com, which is selling items to continental customers for Euro and is registered as a limited company in the UK. On 26/10/2017 I placed an order (Order No.: 300030969) with them for €115.95, paid by debit card and received an e-mail from ScrewFix.eu stating that the item will be delivered to my address in France within 2-3 working days. Within the next 6 working days they failed to deliver the item and, in response to my query, the customer services advised me that the courier "had a query" about the address I provided. The address exists since 1960 and noone before had any difficulty finding the place. ScrewFix.eu also failed to explain why, despite having my phone No, nobody phoned me to resolve the difficulty the delivery people had. I could not wait any longer and asked for the order to be cancelled and full refund to be issued to me. ScrewFix.eu agreed to that and said that I will receive a refund just after their courier returns the item to their warehouse and not a day before. To date (a month after!) I still have not received a refund; I guess their delivery people now 'have a query' with ScrewFix.eu return address... Regrettably, I am sending the case to my local Trading Standards; hopefully they will be able to sort this situation out for me. After being a happy ScrewFix.com customer for over 20 years, I have never expected that they can have such an awful daughter company!
Worst customer service ever
Save Your time and nerves - buy somewhere else. They sent me shower screen instead of karcher puzzi 10/1, and it took more than 1 month to get money back, even after returning wrong item, You will have to REMIND 100 times them to do a refund, otherwise forget about Your money. My first and worst experience with Screwfix. Will never buy again.
Brilliant service again from …
Brilliant service again from Screwfix.EU. One box of two I was tracking was returned from Southern Germany to the warehouse as the courier had identified it had been damaged.
Screwfix immediately refunded the costs of the missing items without a quibble and provided a discount voucher for the trouble and disappointment caused. What more could you ask for? I have now reordered the items.
Excellent service and I recommend them for the quality of their tools and their after sales support
Screwfix Forever!
Screwfix has a fantastic range of products and I have used them since their printed catalogue was only 100 pages thick back in the late 90's.
Their Delivery is prompt and offers options, their issue resolution (not that it happens often) is fantastic and their prices are keen - like teh Tesco's of the Hardware World!
I love their core fixings range - if screwfix don't stock it, it is because the product you are looking for is crap and they have something more applicable/better. From traditional brass woodscrews to Coach bolts and 250mm long timber fixings they have it all.
PPE and Safety products are also wide in range and good on price - half of my Tools have been purchased from Screwfix over the years - I always purchase the not-so-cheap stuff and generally this decision means that with a little bit more spend, the stuff lasts far longer.
I use both the .co.uk and .eu site as I have a property in France - both offer a great service at fantastic value!

Once again I have to post my views on my local Screwfix in Oswestry. They give by far the best customer service I have had in years. Extremely helpful and Knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. I returned an item the other day explaining that it was faulty.Within about 3 minutes (yes 3 minutes ) the matter was resolved with a full refund. In what was once a male dominated profession (for this type of front of store business) the female staff at Screwfix are superb. I don't know what the training regime is for their staff but Screwfix should pat themselves on the back for what I regard as the best of British Customer Service. Again Thank you.

I bought A Titan Bandsaw from screwfix, I ordered online and picked up from store the next day, due to work commitments I had to wait to assemble so I left it sealed in its box when I did assemble the Bandsaw it did not work so I double checked everything also checked the fuse but still no joy so couple of days later on my next day off I returned the Bandsaw to my local screwfix who ordered me a replacement which I had to pick up the next day, after picking up the replacement I went home and assembled the Bandsaw only to have the same problem so I rang screwfix explained my problem they gave me a number to ring Titan who told me to ring screwfix back as they couldn't help me! So I again rang screwfix and explained I didn't want to return the product if I'm doing something wrong as I would still have the same problem with a 3rd Tablesaw screwfix told me that they do not have a Q&A on this product and would need to do one and get back to me in a couple of days, I rang them a couple of days later they said they haven't done there Q&A yet can I give them another couple of days I left it and waited for screwfix to ring me, they did 6 days later (4 working days) explaining I have been unfortunate and both my saws came from the same batch and if I was to return my Bandsaw it would be replaced but strangely there are all out off stock and awaiting a new shipment so over 3 weeks later I am still stuck with a bandsaw that does not work. 😡
