Scholarship Owl is a total scam. They are taking advantage of students seeking funding for school. You will not get a scholarship, they will just take your money and be happy with it.

I’m so grateful that this site is legit it’s so many scandals in this world but not this platform. My son actually won one of the scholarships on here and I’m hoping that he will find success in receiving more. It is a little pricey but I feel like it’s worth it

5-star customer support
Lena, one of the customer support agents, helped me secure a refund for a subscription I did not plan for, and this changed my whole mindset positively about ScholarshipOwl. I will definitely subscribe to the pro membership again because of this single act of empathy.
Thank you, Lena.

Don’t bother. I won’t be renewing
Supposedly this is a legitimate site and came recommended. I jumped through all their hoops, went to their webinars, wrote the essays they way they say you’re supposed to, and haven’t won any scholarships. I applied to over 100. Don’t waste your money. My guess is their scholarships are too saturated to be worth the bother or only low income people ever win them. You’d have more luck finding a needle in a haystack.

Thank you for your feedback!
Applying to over 100 scholarships and not hearing back can be incredibly discouraging, especially when you’ve done everything by the book. It’s frustrating when you invest your time, effort, and hope, and it doesn’t seem to pay off. ScholarshipOwl does provide status updates for every application, and we regularly highlight real students who've won through the platform.
We are very transparent when it comes to that.
Competition can be high, and while not everyone wins right away, many users do find success over time. If you ever want tips or help figuring out which scholarships might be a better fit, we are happy to help!
Wishing you the best on your journey.

Applying to 140 scholarships is a big achievement, and we know it takes real commitment.
You can see the status of all your submitted scholarships in the "Submitted" section, and you can see when the winners are chosen and awarded. We keep the process transparent and clear, with everything on one dashboard. Still, we hear your frustration and want to help.
Please feel free to reach out to our support team at support@scholarshipowl.com so we can assist you directly. Your feedback helps us improve, and we appreciate your honesty.

If I can win so can you
Honestly thought that I would never win a scholarship. But I have applied anyway, and won a scholarship just a few weeks later. I plan to keep applying to different scholarships who knows I might win another one.
I am really impressed by Scholarship Owl. They are honest and trustworthy.

Incredible amount of scholarship opportunities
I’ve been struggling to find scholarships on my own, then I found this platform! There’s so many opportunities I wouldn’t have found other wise. It’s pretty simple to use and rates scholarships for you based on credibility/award amount/amount of applicants.

They Do Not Even Make Sure the Email Subject is Correct
ScholarshipOwl claims your odds are 1 out of 27. Not guaranteed I understand. However, after over 160 applications sent, I started checking the actual scholarships website where you can apply directly to see if everything matched. Sadly, most were no where near it. Some of the items they ask for on the scholarship site were completely different then what scholarshipowl sent. The worst part is over 70 scholarships on the actual scholarships site stated clearly what they wanted in the subject line or your application wouldn't be reviewed. I compared that to what scholarshipowl sent in the subject line and they were incorrect. Meaning, my son had worked his tail off to write over 70 useless essays that never even got looked at. I would not waste my time with this site. I would use fastweb and apply directly. So aggravated.
